Bucharest hotels near Teatrul Odeon

Cons: we were not aware of the "fine print" about the extra costs associated with the economy rooms. Extra for pool, "free shuttle" to the airport, basic things we thought we were getting only to be charged for. I didn't see that explained to me. Dissappointed, some of the staff was not real friendly, while others were very good and helpful

Cons: We booked with SPG membership and were told we could check in at 7am during the online booking. After a red-eye flight, we arrived at the hotel and they denied such an option was available, saying check in was at 1500 and they could try to cram us in at 1200. This was not due to a lack of rooms, as they offered us to pay for an additional night and they would check us in early. Accordingly, our group of six "took over" the lobby for a few hours, until finally, around ten, after asking us not to fall asleep in the lobby several times, they gave us one room. We were given the other two rooms are 1300, but each on a different floor. As for late check out, which was also offered to SPG members, they claimed not knowing of such things either. After complaining, the hotel staff offered a free massage therapy to one of our group, which we happy accepted. However, when we went to claim our compensation the next morning, the staff on duty said they didn't know what we were talking about and we never got the freebie. Finally, during our stay, the was a crazy black out for over half an hour. Stuck on high floors, we were without running water in the middle of showers and we only could go down to breakfast when the electricity cane back, just in time for the kitchen to close. The hotel blamed the city for this and offered zero compensation.

Cons: On a couple of occasions took a long time to pick up room service dishes even after calling and requesting them to be removed.

Cons: i paid for Double studio room and when i come to hotel i was shocked because i though doble studio its better then standard room but unfortunately its simple room which smelling bad and not in the same building where the standard rooms.so i asked how much i need to pay more for to move to standard room and i paid 500 $ its a lots,

Cons: The room was not at the hotel main building Not as luxury as the hotel rooms Bkfast was served at another restaurant and was of lower quality that the one at the main hotel Money paid could have booked a room at a much nicer hotel Missleading information at the time of the booking. KAYAK should state that the room was an apartment house at another building block and not at the main hotel

Cons: Couple extra blocks from Old Town, Valet Parking Overpriced

Cons: They did not seem to have much information on the immediate local area like reasonable places to eat, groceries and such. Not a big deal as we easily found things on our own. Also no detailed local map for the immediate area.
