  • Having your own vehicle is the easiest way to explore the area around Lund. In the city itself, the narrow roads can be a challenge, but parking is plentiful. While Sweden has good public transport, having your own vehicle will let you travel on your own schedule, and you can visit more remote locations. For example, a drive up to the beautiful coastal town of Lerhman takes just over an hour by car and almost twice as long by bus. Additionally, most companies offering car rental in Lund allow you to take your vehicle into neighbouring countries. From Lund, you can take the Øresund Bridge to Copenhagen in just under an hour.
