Pros:Everything worked very well and it was easy to deliver the keys in the Dropbox.
Cons:Lower wait time to sign and pickup the car.
Cons:All was great. Very convenient.
Cons:The car wasn’t in full so it was difficult to put the right amount of gas in it,when I received my invoice the charged me for 4 litres of gas
Pros:Everything was great, no complaints.
8.8 Very Good
Pros:The attendant was extremely considerate and very intent on my experience being excellent. I was very happy with the service.
Cons:The car could have been cleaner. There were dirty items in the back seat pockets that were missed from a previous rental. The distance was far from my home so the travel time took away from the value.
Pros:Value, upgrade, location, the gentleman which bring me to the car.
Cons:The missing spare tire, the lady which were totally in personal.
Pros:Front desk guy is awesome. Super friendly guy and the value is impossible to beat.
Cons:The interior of the car was filthy. There were french fries everywhere from whoever had the car last which means that during a pandemic they aren't even cleaning the cars between rentals. I felt unsafe the entire time.
Cons:They overbooked and our car wasn’t available. We had to wait over 2 hours for another car. The car ended up being a downgrade (smaller than we originally requested), but they wouldn’t give us a discount!
Pros:Great friendly staff - always trying their best to provide great service, and they do.
Cons:I wish they had more vehicles. Downtown location has a high demand especially in the summer, wish there's more vehicles. Also would love to see more premium class vehicles.
Cons:The car wasn’t very clean and it smelled like smoke inside.
Pros:The representative at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. The process was very easy and seemless. Car was clean. Would definitely rent from Thrifty's again.
Cons:Thrifty didn't honor the booking made through kayak. Had called priceline too, even they refuse to help with my booking initially but upon insisting they kept me on hold and said the spoke to thrifty and they agreed to honor the booking. When i visited thrifty, they said no one called and there are no valid booking. Due to the mess created by Kayak, priceline and thrifty, my weekend plans were totally ruined. Very disappointed.

8.0 Very Good
Pros:Very simple and easy. Central location. Friendly staff.
Cons:The cleaning product they use in the car smells like a cheap hotel room. Despite being easy, check-in process was a bit long.
8.0 Very Good
Pros:Customer service representatives were excellent and dynamic.
Cons:Car service representatives in the parking lot were rude and unclear in communications.
Pros:Check the inventory in the parking before you go to the counter. They may try to upsell you to a different class even when they have yoir original class available.
Pros:The staff at front desk was extremely helpful.
Cons:Not much really. They used to have a printed guide on how to access the parking lot - not sure what happened to it.
Cons:When i came to drop off the car, parking lot was full. Ended up wasting 1 hr talking to customer support.
Cons:Windshield wiper broken
Cons:We reserved a car for $54.00 for one day to explore Niagara Falls. We arrived to pick up and were told that there were no cars available and "sorry, but you'll just have to wait for a few hours because there may be some cars returning this afternoon." There were at least 3 people in line ahead of us with the exact same predicament. We asked "how many cars are you expecting back?" Their manager said "we're not really sure...there may be none. We've had a man waiting since this morning so he gets the first one anyway." We told them that this was incredibly disappointing and frustrating and requested a full refund. She refused and said that because we had booked through Kayak as a 3rd party, then they weren't responsible for refunding us. The manager was distinctly rude to all of us and raised her voice several times, insisting there was nothing they could do and it wasn't her problem. We asked if they could at least call around for us, as we didn't have Canadian cell phones and were unable to find another rental company. They reluctantly made a few phone calls, joking with each other throughout the process and being generally insensitive. The managers name is Kim Tan. I suggest that she be fired or, at the very least, spoken with about the importance of elementary customer service and basic human decency. Is it really too much to ask to provide polite, efficient, kind service to people your business has assured a pre-paid service to? The other attendant, Adriane, finally called down the street to the other Dollar rental and said, "oh yeah they have a few cars". We went there and were able to rent a small car for $150/day, which we ended up doing because we really wanted to be done with the situation and get to Niagara falls. In the end, we paid 4x the price for what could have been a very simple, enjoyable experience. I hope that Kayak will at least refund us our original $54 pre-payment, and that Dollar Rental will not allow overbooking of their cars. It really does affect the lives of your customers! We were deeply unimpressed with this entire situation and will never rent with Dollar again.
Cons:fortunately My flight was delay, I informed the rental staff prior my departure from Edmonton but they weren't able to provide me a rental vehicle even if I notify them.
Pros:Everything about the car hire (with Dollar) was fantastic except the third party insurance offered on the Kayak page. Do not agree to the insurance on the Kayak page. It is a third party insurance (not through Dollar), and you can get stuck (as I did) refusing the insurance offered by Dollar, only to have an error with the third party insurance. I then had to go back to Dollar and ask for insurance directly from them, which was a hassle. Would recommend Dollar, though.
