Staff have always been welcoming and kind. Pretty much ideal for a discrete and restful weekend if the mood takes you in the dark days of winter.

Pros: Outstanding 6 star service in a brand new retro-chic wonderful retreat hotel. What a stunning and wonderful experience. Sharon and Nigel anticipate your every need - in fact exceed it by providing what you didn't know you needed!! From the welcome at the door by Sharon to the thank you departure wave by both hosts as we left - the stay was PERFECT. They have branded each of the rooms with a music theme - either of a singer or a band - we were in Freddie Mercury - right at the top of the house. Everything is high quality - from the beautiful wooden entrance hall floor to the deep pile carpet on the stairs and landings. There is an amazing lounge room outside the actual house - in which there is complimentary tea and coffee, honesty bar, comfy sofas, board games and a lovely wood burning stove. The location is perfect - with sea views as the road is only 1 street back from the sea and a wonderful park right next door to walk. Only 10 minutes walk into the town of Falmouth - this wonderful place has everything you need. The breakfast was plentiful and such a range of wonderful delights - including home made flapjacks to take away. When you arrive Sharon takes you to the room - makes sure you are comfortable - there are tea and coffee facilities and a fridge in the room with fresh milk and home made "grandmas" chocolate Tiffin. A truly luxury experience.
Cons: Having to go home - I was sad to leave and I will for sure be back to stay with them again :)

Pros: Trelawne Hotel felt like the perfect get away. Near enough to attractions and Falmouth but nicely out of the way to feel relaxed and away from it all. The family and staff who run it are all extremely friendly and welcoming and it just felt very homely. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and good value for money. The breakfast was equally excellent. The view from our window was spectacular. I can't fault this hotel at all. I would definitely recommend this place. Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: The location near Maenporth beach was great, and the breakfast room has a lovely view.
Cons: The bathrooms are really in need of updating, and the room doors could probably do with updating to something a bit nicer. As dog owners we think that a dog charge should be a one off payment, not a per-night payment, as the fact that we stayed for two nights rather than one doesn’t change your cleaning requirements once we’ve checked out.

7.0 Good
Pros: great breakfast
Cons: The sitting room for guests, although very spacious, felt little institutional and chilly. But it was a cold December day & I'm sure it would be great in the summer with the doors open onto the garden. The ensuite loo's door was wobbly and didn't really work properly.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Lovely location but food particularly breakfast was poor and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful
Cons: Continental breakfast rolls were like bullets and nothing on there dinner menu for vegetarians
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful surroundings and great value out of season.
Cons: My colleague and I work for casual clothing company and therefore had pcked any smart attire. We were disappointed that didnt feel able to use restaurant as stipulation was"strictly no jeans"! We had to walk into town for our supper. Breakfast, although lovely, was a 40minute wait for our cooked order. These are minor issues and i would definitely stay again.......I'll pack my LBD next time.

Cons: Nothing!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location. 2nd floor has been refurbished.
Cons: 1st looks like it needs a refurb. Breakfast tables are pre - assigned so a line of people wanted seats by the window but were sent to other tables even though the favoured window seats were not used for the entire period. Bit old old fashioned. Should be first come etc....
