Pros: I booked this as an "extravagance" to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday. Due to a small event that was going on in an area close to the room which I reserved, the insightful and generous hosts "upgraded" our mother/daughter party of two. My mother felt like an absolute queen. We visited in rocking chairs on the back porch. We lounged in beautiful and heavenly beds. We were amazed by the picnic basket delivery for a morning masterpiece breakfast! I am so very grateful! I want to purchase a gift certificate for my newly married daughter-perfect anniversary present.

Pros: Comfort and location. Wine and water in rooms are a nice touch.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Very clean abs very comfy. Staff was super sweet.
Cons: Breakfast was lacking. Looked like they were suppose to have oatmeal as all the fixings were there so guessing they ran out. They ran out of orange juice and apple juice. On a Monday morning with not many ppl there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is great for access to Main Street, which means you can walk from the hotel and leave the car behind if you chose. The recent renovations that have taken place since the last time we stayed have definitely improved the bedroom facilities. It is also serviced well and we found the staff did an excellent job with servicing the room and maintaining it during our stay.
Cons: We did find though that the use of disposable plates, cutlery, cups etc for breakfast was very much out of the current trend when considering the issues around recyclable materials as everything went straight in bins. We felt this would not be accepted in Europe and at home as it seems to be in the US. I guess it takes another member of staff to put dishes etc through a dishwasher. But we felt this is something that should be addressed given the current environmental awareness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hot tub and pool was very nice
4.0 Okay
Pros: Walking distance to shops

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good; bath towels plush. Pet friendly.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is terrific, a half block off of main street. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was okay. Thin walls. the couple next to my room both had coughs and it was like they were sitting next to me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds at the Fredricksburg Inn and Suites are really special. There are many different areas to sit outside and enjoy the beautifully landscaped property. The sheets and towels were excellent and the beds very comfortable. Easy walk to shops.
Cons: I initially thought I might not care for the outside hallways, but it really wasn't an issue. Everything else was so great that I wouldn't even consider going to a big name brand hotel were I to return to Fredericksburg.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very spacious and having two tv’s in the room was nice with kids.
Cons: In one of our rooms there was a toilet issue. They tried to call down to the main desk but the phone did not work. My mom went down to the front desk and informed the gentleman at the desk of the situation. He was checking in others but would be up to take care of it. This was before 10pm. At 10:35 she went down to the front desk again and waited around but no one ever came to the front desk after she stood around for some time she just left and went back to her room. Then at 1o:55 she went down for the 3rd time she went to the front desk and stood for a time and then finally saw the gentleman sitting at the customer computer area and went over to him it was the front desk clerk. She told him about her toilet problem again. He acted flustered but finally went in search of a plunger. My mom told him 3 times to just get a plunger and she would take cares of it. Finally after several searches he came out with a plunger and handed it off to mom. My mom is 75 years old and paid good money for this hotel. I don’t under stand how come that gentleman at the front desk could let her do his job or call for a maintenance person.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Honestly the stay at the Laquita was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. From the very start the young lady recognized me as a veteran an offered a veterans discount. The room I was offered was extremely clean. The front desk individuals were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of thier duties. The pleasant experience carried over to the next morning, when I went down for the full breakfast (unlike other chains that only offer continental breakfast). I can say again would gladly stay at the hotel in the future when visiting Fredericksburg. Thank you to the staff and folks that work there. Definitely a very comfortable stay Robert Hagen Retired US Army

4.5 Okay
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't. Very disappointed.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
6.5 Good
Pros: Heated pool Fantastic location continental breakfast very quite
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is really good and within walking distance to everything on Main Street.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast at 9:00 am and there wasn't much food left. It was a continental breakfast with a waffle maker to cook your own. The waffle batter was empty and there were no staff members available or maintaining the area as guests came in and depleted the food. We ended up leaving without eating because there wasn't anything left by 9:00 am.

Pros: Very easy, clean and in a great location

Pros: We have stayed at the Kitzmiller several times. This time was the least enjoyable. We love that it is on Main, close to everything and usually a reliable experience. I like that the furnishings are a bit retro, room is clean and hotel quiet.
Cons: We stayed in a room near the ice machine and it was well used early in the morning and loud! We wanted to sleep in but could not near it. Additionally, motorcyclist riding Harleys felt free to pull up right next to our door. They were not considerate.

7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room and good beds.
Cons: Could not lock door bolt. TV should be larger. Sink faucet sprayed water out of sink. Breakfast danish was stale. Only had regular coffee, no decaf.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good but not within walking distance of Main. Bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Grounds were clean and room was clean.
Cons: Shower head and the border around the top of the shower needs to be updated, it was pretty worn looking. Blanket on the bed was rough and thin. A smoother feeling blanket with a little weight to it would be so much better.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: There was hair everywhere that was not mine.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like that we can park directly in front of room.
Cons: I would like to suggest that the hotel put hooks on wall, to hang items, like coats or clothes, or purse; items that we want to hang, but not on a hanger.

4.0 Okay
Pros: It was nice and big and had the option of cooking in our room.
Cons: The room smelled like stale smoke and there was no towels at all in the room when we checked in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Fredericksburg main street. HEB and subway nearby. Check-in and out were super fast. Great deal for the price.
Cons: Venting for the bathroom didn't work. Carpet looked old.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to my destination
Cons: Room was outdated not cleaned very well was nonsmoking but wreaked of smoke and queen bed was a regular not queen no phone inside the room wasn't enough towels out for two people like the room was threw together
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was nice and clean, some of the visitors was really friendly
Cons: They double charged our card and can’t talk to them until after 3 pm. Hope we get our money back.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is great, and underneath, the room was clean...just stained.
Cons: The staff was not present on the premises. They had left a key for me outside of the front office when I arrived to check in at 8pm on a Friday night (even though they are supposed to be present to assist with check-ins until 9pm), and the office was locked when I tried to return the key at 9am on Sunday morning. Walls are very thin, poor guy in the next room's snoring was so bad I could not sleep. The mattresses must be very old, no springs were left and you just sink in on the side closest to the bed-side table.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The bed was the most uncomfortable I have slept in, in a long time. The room was small no comfortable chair to sit in and one day of this day all of the wash clothes were taken and none left. The room was supposed to be queen size and I believe it was closer to a double but the problem was the mattress needed to be replaced. The parking area was under sized and difficult to get in and out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quaint, reasonable price
Cons: Nothing we did not like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Literally everything else, the staff was great, our key didn't work so we got an upgrade! And there were office cats and I loved them!
Cons: The bathroom probably could have been a little cleaner js all.
7.0 Good
Pros: Simple place, unassuming. Bed was decent. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Restaurant attached was great. All in all it was good for the price.
Cons: The dump truck that came behind our room at 5am to collect the trash was so incredibly loud it woke us up with a freight. Wish I had been warned about the noise. Also did not have a floor towel on first day. Requested maid service and she replaced 1 towel, left us a floor towel, but didn't replace the washcloths.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The parking was difficult. Several times we had trouble backing out because there was a truck and trailer parked in a lane behind us.
6.2 Good
Pros: Location was good. Front desk was friendly. Price was decent.
Cons: Went to the front desk in the middle of the day, and no one was available. Hotels usually freak me out, so cleanliness will always be my complaint. No phone in the room. Very low water pressure in the toilet, (in the town). It didn’t look like the restaurant connected to the hotel was ever open. It was our anniversary, and the site asked, but there was no recognition.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was great. Although we parked at motel, then Uber'd back to Main Street. Highly recommend the Sunset Grill next door.
Cons: Not sure why it's called Inn and Suites. What we stayed in was definitely a Motel. Did not feel unsafe, but observed they use standard residential door knobs and deadbolts for the rooms. Parking is tight. Especially when the Grill is open.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was beautifully decorated, the furniture was awesome. The room was also very spacious. It would be a great place to stay if they replaced the hard mattress and insulated the adjoining walls.
Cons: The king bed was hard as a rock, so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep. The walls are paper thin and at 3:30am we could hear the neighbors laughing and talking. We had to turn the bath fan on and the ac fan to try to drown out the noise to try to get back to sleep. The Main Street was outside of our balcony area and it sounded like a race track.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and Convenient! Very clean and staff were awesome!
Cons: The bar downstairs closed at 10 on a Saturday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is amazing - the osso buco paired with a creme brulee is a must have. Thank you Alex!
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very spacious and the tub was huge.
Cons: The shower could have been a little bigger and breakfast could have been included for the price
6.0 Good
Cons: The main reason for less than stellar review is the shower. It was teeny tiny, smaller than what you’d get at a old motel 6, and no water pressure. The room was very clean and very nice and the bed was very nice, too.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was a nice size. Decorated very well. The hotel only has 6 rooms. Restaurant and on site bar was very good.
Cons: Our bathroom had a terrible “sewer smell”, that would come and go throughout the night. Our friends stayed in the room nextdoor and it did not have the smell. Therefore, I believe it was a drain/sewer problem in our room. The bathroom looked very clean, but the smell was bad.

Pros: The location was perfect for the main downtown and to local view points and museums. Beautifully decorated and extremely well-stocked with amenities. Staff were welcoming and seemed to be available at all times. The great hall was amazing and a wonderful place to go for refreshments and sources of entertainment. The delivery of breakfast was just magical really and made our days run smoothly. I would highly recommend both this accommodation and town!
