The staff was rude. The first car smelled like an ashtray and then they tried to give me a damaged car to replace the first one and when I pointed it out the damage the manager said “what do you expect, it’s a rental.” Worst car rental place I’ve ever experienced.

They rented us a car in Salt Lake City, knowing that we were going to the mountains that the tires were bald. We could not use the car cause it kept pinning in the rain and sliding in the snow. They told us that we had to get the car to the rental center in order to get a new car. Pretty hard to do in snow and rain.

Rental facility is not in terminal. When we arrived, they said our rental was not ready (even though our pick up time was supposed to be an hour earlier) and made us wait for 40 min. Car (jeep) did not have windows that rolled down.

Initial rate was good but when I got a stomach flu and missed the return by two hours, they had a fee that was higher than the entire week's rental. Extending the rental by 24 hours was almost as expensive as the entire week. If you rent here, make sure you plan to return the car on time or get held hostage to a extremely high rate.

Great customer service. I had to change my car for a 4WD, contacted Sixt via email, got an answer immediately. When I arrived to the airport took the shuttle, arrived in no time, the driver was very helpful and nice, at the office Antonio assisted us, very professional gave us all the options. I returned the car a different city, same excellent service, they took us to our hotel at the airport. Will definitely book my next rental with Sixt. Simply excellent!

Cons:

The experience at the pickup wasn’t the best, not very professional. The drop off at the park and jet was awful. The attendant was hateful, directions were unclear and as my daughter said the whole set up was sketchy. It turned out ok but won’t be using them again.

Very Poor location and communications, tp pick up, maybe all of this is due to covid. We sat for over 1 hour waiting to be picked up, we finally took an uber.

Pros:

The car was nice. And complimentary shuttle was great.

Cons:

Customer service could have been better, it did not feel that welcoming. When shuttling having my information to verify we aren’t getting into a strangers car would have felt safer. When going over the pre damages on the car before I leave I felt that it would be more beneficial for them to come out and inspect the car with me rather than me doing it alone. Security deposit amount needs to be listed because that was a surprise. But we enjoyed the car and returning it was easy. I just feel that those other things I mentioned need to be worked on.
