Pros: The hotel and staff were marvelous. It is truly one of the world's great hotels. Channel 1 on the TV is a documentary on the hotel and its history which was very informative about the role of the hotel in the 6 Day War, the peace talks with Sadat, the ousting of the British from Jerusalem. It is also just a short walk to the Jaffa Gate of the Old City. Great place to stay and relax after a hard day of sightseeing, if one can afford it.
