Pros: I was impressed by the very attentive, courteous staff who pay attention to detail! During my first day, I left a copy of the New York Times on my desk. Without asking, the following days, a New York Times was delivered to my room. Every afternoon a plate of fresh fruit was delivered to the room and on the first day, it also came with a box of gourmet chocolates. In the evening, the turndown service came with slippers placed on each side of the bed. I've stayed in many fine hotels and this one ranks as one of the best.

Pros: The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We received a free room upgrade when we arrived to an executive suite which was very nice, the room had everything we needed including fluffy robes and slippers. We were initially worried when we arrived, that the Hotel seemed very posh and we had arrived on a motorbike as we were touring round parts of Europe on our holiday. We thought the Hotel may not appreciate us arriving outside on a bike with all our outdoor gear on. However this was not the case and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast was very enjoyable and served in a lovely room. I would definately recommend this hotel to others and I would recommend a weekend stay in Luxembourg it was so enjoyable.

Our price (weekend-price) did not include breakfast, which is rather expensive (EUR 30/pers) at the hotel - however, there are lots of cafés in the old town. The rooms are nice and fresh (even with an espresso-machine, and free mini-bar (non-alcoholic)).

As mentioned by others the room was a bit dated, but you could also say it adds character! We chose this as it was not a chain, therefore, not a standard hotel room. It suited us fine for an overnight stop. The restaurant looked nice, but we were too late too eat. The breakfast was fine - choice of bread/rolls and jams etc. The host was very friendly and informative and helped with all our enquiries. She also spoke multiple languages!
