Pros: Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro.

Ignore the off putting entrance, once up the stairs all is very good. People say this area of Naples can be a bit " dangerous" - bag snatching and so on. Our experience was that all the people we encountered were very friendly and helpful - do not be put off.

Also, when we were leaving we asked for a recommendation for a hotel in sorrento and Monica, a fabulous lady helped us to secure a hotel for 8 days. This was completely above and beyond and we very much appreciated it. She had also recommended a beautiful place for dinner near the hotel. Good helpful staff working in a hotel in a new city for visitors are worth their weight in gold, this lady in particular was exceptional!

Pros: The localization of the hotel is great, in the Chiaia region, the best neighboorhod in town. The hotel is very near to the best shops in Naples, such as Gucci, Armani and Louis Vuitton and another great shops, so you can reach the best of the city in a short walk. The hotel is also near to some good bars and restaurants (like the great pizzeria Matozzi) and to some streets that are closed to cars and are great to walk around, so within a walking distance, you have the best of Naples. It is also just three blocks form the subway station that leads to the central station. The hotel is very good, the room is very modern, new and clean, with a large ans clean bathroom with amenities. The only bad point is that they don´t have a safe box in the room, but they have in the reception. The staff is great, always ready to help you, the breakfast is very good and the hotel restaurant serves pretty good foods for lunch and dinner. I would recomend this hotel for everyone, me and my family really liked it.

The room was super- designed, even if it's a bit kitch, like a table suported by 5 angels =) We stayed at lux, and we had really cool jacuzzi (thouth it was loosing water, and after ll th floor was wet). In general we liked it, i would've put 9 from 10.They also recomended vr good restaurant downstairs, it calls Castello Nuovo (I guess)), the food was amaizing!

Pros: We only stayed one night as we were in sorrento and we had an early flight home so it was convienient for us to stay here. It was close to the train station and Alibus to the airport which we used. The breakfast could have been better, no fresh fruit only tinned, the bread in the basket was hard and we had to wait until it was filled again, the machine for coffee was very slow and people had to queue to use it. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, our room was nice but bathroom very small. Because our room was at the front of hotel we could not open the window as the noise from the traffic was unbearable ( not the hotel's fault) so it was good that there was air con. If we had to do an overnight stay in Naples again we would stay here .
