Cons: Panhandlers outside the front while we waited for our car. They sat by the door and were smoking. Made it a little uncomfortable. mostly to breathe because of the smell of the cigarettes.

Cons: My room was not ready till 5pm.

Cons: The separation doors between rooms need to be more insulated. I could hear and smell neighbors activities. Couldn’t sleep entire night till 4 am. Bring earplugs if you’re staying in this hotel, it’s right in the center of it all, constants activities around at night at city hall.

Cons: The phone operators for reservations were very rude. I spoke to several ones during the week before my stay. Only the last one I spoke to was helpful. I ended up double booking because I was told by a staff member earlier in the week that they couldn't find me on record of having booked a room so I ended up booking another. When it came close to check in, I was told that I indeed had booked the initial room. The last lady I spoke was very understanding and cancelled that initial room since I booked the second one through a third party.

Cons: No microwave

Cons: It would be nice to have some kind if discounted parking. Also, we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and would only give it 1-2 star. Would not eat there again.

Cons: Double lock on door didn't recede so you had to jerk handle to be sure door closed.

Cons: My room was mainly clean but I felt like certain surfaces needed another wipe.

Cons: I love the amazing service and delicious food like the squash soup that Sofitel offers in their dining area. I appreciated that when I asked about my boarding pass being printed out Anthony from the front desk immediately went there and did it within 30 seconds for me. The staff, from the maid service to the front desk to the waitresses to the hostess to the Bellman, are all incredibly friendly warm helpful but appropriate.

Cons: There were many stains on mattresses, Knicks on walls and doors, bedside glasses were not cleaned/replaced each day, gym was filthy with sweat stains on machines and equipment and floor. This hotel is desperately in need of an upgrade/remodel

Cons: Met an old friend in Philly for one evening. We had a great day in the city, a wonderful dinner and retired to the room at eight PM to get reacquainted. At 10:15 we had a hotel staff member knock on our door to tell us we had noise complaints and to keep it down!!! There was also a note under our door say pleas keep it down the walls are very thin!!! Really??? 10:15??? And they want Philly to be known for the city of LOVE but only if you whisper! Disappointed the staff actually came up to tell me that. I will not be staying there again if I am doing anything but sleeping!

Cons: The hotel parking was outrageous. The room was warm. It never seemed like the airconditioner turned on. The bed was large and very comfortable but there was no top sheet, only a comforter which got very warm in the night.

Cons: I wish the breakfast was included during the week. Needing to order breakfast in the morning is very time consuming.

Cons: Nothing. I would easily stay here again if I can find a good rate.

Cons: Typically, I feel very comfortable in any room I stay in. However this time, the air conditioner didn't work properly, and the shower didn't drain properly. It did dampen my enjoyment of the hotel.

Cons: Had a prepaid reservation for Sofitel and arrived a day late due to a family emergency. I did not have time to call the previous day and when I arrived the manager said they had cancelled my reservation, charged me for one day and that he 'would help me find another hotel.' Pathetic, at least could have called me before they cancelled my reservation. Never stay at the Philadelphia Sofitel again.

Cons: Waiting 30 minutes for my car to be taken out of Valet. Having a Valet tip come right out of my account without my approval. Extremely uncomfortable bedding. No running water due to a shut off, but wasn't told about this until after checking in and essentially not having another option to book another hotel. Phone did not work. Cable remote did not work. Concierge service was unknowledgeable of what the hotel offers.

Cons: Valet parking short staffed, chaotic, disorganized, long waits, long car line when we arrived. Decor and ambience not my taste. Lobby is not inviting or calm. Room was hot but with a terrible cold draft near window.

Cons: Rooms not quietly. Could hear all traffic from the street and noise from other rooms and I was on the 9th floor. Would like to see Sonesta to replace those thin windows with something better.

Cons: The elevator was way to slow. We waited 10 minutes for the elevator at 5 in the morning and almost missed our Uber reservation.

Cons: Lots of construction. Our recently renovated room was dingy in the bathroom already. Elevators taped up and walls exposed in the public areas (like hallways).

Cons: The Art Bar left a lot to be desired. Poor food and service.

Cons: The pool was not very clean (passable) and people had to ask several times for towels. The pool area can be a great place - just add some plants, get rid of ugly fence, put a bar there....

Cons: It was very noisy. Kids screaming and running down the hall all day/night. Not the hotels fault, but did put a damper on the trip. Also, the room service food was awful. Poor quality and flavor.

Cons: Beds were very firm- uncomfortable, but maybe suitable for others. Rooms are small. You can hear all noise- doors shutting in hall, elevators, guest conversations. Online photos made it look much more luxurious than it actually is.

Cons: Room is describe with "city view", only view is an office building across our room. No full service restaurant in the hotel but walking distance to everything.

Cons: Terrible TV...too small and very blurry. Food menu was weak...not enough variety and over priced for the quality. Should not have had to pay an extra 30.00 for one nights parking...outrageously over priced and a very sneaky added expense.

Cons: The heater in our room sounded like a mini-explosion every time it kicked on. The walls were paper thin. We were wakened by two female voices and two babies at 7:30 am. I would have sworn they were in our room.

Cons: Pet policy is not clearly stated on their website. We arrived at the hotel with the intention of sightseeing and ended up being stuck in our room watching our dog because the policy doesn't state online that you have to stay with him at all times even if he's in a crate. This made us on able to benefit from our complementary breakfast since he was also not allowed in the dining area and the entire purpose of the trip was for a Valentine's Day getaway with my husband. It left us leaving the room individually and scrambling for last-minute plans. We did not get to enjoy our vacation the way we expected to and were even more upset that when we called to ask about the policy that we weren't informed in advance. We did not get told until after check in

Cons: Only valet parking available. Getting used to the noise of the heat/Air conditioning unit turning on and off. It was very quiet while it was running, just the starting and stopping noise that might wake you up if you aren't use to sounds.

Cons: When we arrived Saturday afternoon, there was no doorman to help with the bags. I ended up running into someone when I went to get a cart who was hanging out at the front desk talking. Also I was putting a stroller and there wasn't anyone to assist with holding the door open. Lastly, there were 2 weddings going on. From our room, we could hear the DJ until past 11:30 at night which isn't ok when you have small children and if you are a light sleeper.

Cons: The room was a little dusty and Part of the wall had some marking on it.

Cons: No rooms available at 3:00 check in. The desk clerk said he would call when a room is ready but he never called. The maid was the nicest hotel employee. The staff said they have self parking but that is not true, it is just side door valet parking.

Cons: This stay (our 4th, but first since it's no longer a radisson) we encountered a MAJOR problem at 4am, and with two young children to be displayed in the middle of the night without our belongings was awful. The night staff and cleaning staff were great but the manager on duty was unbelievably awful, as if we inconvenienced her when her shift started at 8 -- 4 hours after we started dealing with the issue. Instead of commiserating with awful circumstances and asking how we could be helped to be comforble, she mostly left us to or own devices to figure out clothing, food, and basics for two little children who'd been up all night, and had to be pressured to provide basic information about a plan for us to be able to leave. Unreal.

Cons: Better communication between the doorman and bell staff. Fd and valets were very pleasant. Seems the hotel missed the basics of check in and had ample time for the Fd to pass on guest last name from team member to team member. Missed making a good stay to a great stay, it just felt like everyone was just going through the motions. I cannot remember anyone's name as they did not use their name or ours. Doorman older white haired was very rushed and had several people calling on him. He seems like a seasoned veteran, but why is he assigned/called from the FD to come from the front drive, pull stored luggage out inside, then we had to request a bellman who showed up a few minutes later to add the luggage to a bell cart and then take me upstairs doesn't make much sense operationally. No eye contact or name recognition he some how dropped off my bags without even stopping (doorman). At the time (slow time) several front desk employees could have done this task, passed on any tip, put the luggage on the cart and let us know the bellman would be right up so we could relax. Bellman was very nice when we arrived, he had nothing to keep the door open so I held the door, could have been a good time to go over the room options or thermostat as it was very cold in the room and outside.

Cons: Safety: We checked in with several couples. One couple opened the door to their room after checking in and heard the TV on and saw someone's work boots on the floor by the bathroom. The hotel clerk had given them the keys to someone else's occupied room! The next morning, someone opened the door to my husband's and my room while I was sleeping. I called out my husband's name and the person closed the door. My husband ran out of the bathroom and checked the hall, but no one was there. Thank goodness we had closed the extra security slider so they could only open the door about an inch. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened. After that, we were anxious the whole morning until checkout. Thank goodness our stay was only one night.

Cons: I did not like how my room seemed like no one even checked it. The light switches coming into the room were not connected to anything, the smoke detector was dangling from its wires. The outlet next to the bed wasn't even connected to the wall so when I went to pull out my charger I pulled out the outlet as well. The heater in the bathroom also looked old, and stained. And the bed sheets had rips in them. The the amount of money that I spent on that one person room, I would have expected that it would have been a little better looked after.

Cons: The wait time at the desk, the cigar smell in the lobby.

Cons: They didn't have my reservation and they charged me $281 in addition to the $206 I paid to getaroom. I explained that and showed my reservation to the desk clerks when I arrived and when I left and the t have still not removed the extra charge.

Cons: We had 15 rooms for my daughters wedding. Our room at check in had a dirty coffee cup and used toothbrush at the sink. We had the room re cleaned but imagine how I felt as mother of the bride when 3 others were talking about their dirty room at the rehearsal dinner! The worst room was a aunt who's bed was made with dirty sheets, tv on, trash on floor and dirty bath. Gross

Cons: Like most urban hotels, the walls were thin. I was able to hear the music being played in the rooms next to mine. Thankfully, this was early in the evening.

Cons: We arrived at 7 pm and rooms was not cleaned and ready. Had to wait to get a room for 20 min.

Cons: There were some crumbs in my room floor. But other than that he room was great.

Cons: Well first things first, the room smelled overwhelmingly like cigars, and i know because i smoke them. Second, they never advised me that parking was not included with the room. Had they let me know i would have parked it on the street because it was only going to be parked for about 8hrs(got there at 2am and left at 10am). Instead they charged me 80$ for two nights of parking(again i was there for only 8 hours) and then to add insult to injury they damaged my car which i didnt realize until after i left because i was in a hurry to make a meeting. I have called them 6 times and left them 3 separate messages to return my phone call to no avail. I have never been to a hotel that looked so great but preformed so poorly on all accounts. I would have rather stayed at a holiday in express.

Cons: I paid for a room with a courtyard view and was given one with a view of the Street. The towels were very starchy and itchy to use. The shampoo was very low quality and caused both my husband and I to have dry and itchy scalp. The bedding had some sort of stains that they tried to hide by adding an extra sheet on top. The room was also very small and almost crammed. Overall, it seemed like the cost was only for the Hilton name and not for the quality. I’ve paid less for better service and quality in other large cities.

Cons: The hotel restaurant was decent at best. It seems like it should be an attraction but is merely just a side note with interesting decorations. And they also charge $60 a night for parking at a hotel you are already paying to stay in. That was almost half of what I paid for the room. It's not NY or DC and shouldn't cost $60 to park. Ever. Anywhere.

Cons: Room was a bit dusty, kids were both were sneezing and coughing before bedtime. You could see it on the nightstand, perhaps room was unoccupied for some time. Otherwise I highly recommend the Logan!

Cons: The Bad: 2+ hours delayed check in time. Compensation was essentially a drink at the bar. This happened to many people around us. When we finally got to our rooms, there were NO towels!!! For the price we paid and the star value of this hotel, I was very disappointed.

Cons: Old king bed with two craters on either side and a mountain in the middle. Sparse king suite room missing some typical and expected details such as a bag for ice bucket, a second robe, or a second cutlery set from room service. The staff was nice and accommodating, but we just stopped calling the front desk after the 2nd call. Also the vanity area of the bathroom was awkwardly massive - perhaps 12'x24'. It contained a single sink, and a separate make-up vanity (without a stool). The toilet and shower (no tub) were located through a separate door to the standard, camped hotel bathroom. Weird prioritize took of space, that made the suite feel awkward.

Cons: Breakfast by voucher for value amount.

Cons: Age is catching up with this hotel, hall carpets, moulding need to be changed and the bathrooms should be modernized. I rate this hotel at 4.3 stars.

Cons: The hotel seems a bit run down. Lighting in the room was bad.

Cons: Double beds should be changed to queen beds. Poor drainage in bathroom of sink and tub.

Cons: It just felt old, out of date, old school, stuffy. I was also surprised that the only amenity for such an expensive hotel was a tiny little cup of coffee, self-served in the foyer. You had to pay for everything, even WiFi access.

Cons: Room smelled like smoke. First staff person apologized and offered no other solutions. Second call the staff person offered an ozone machine to clean the air. He never showed up. I called two hours later after dinner and they said they couldn't bring the ozone machine to the room, stating that the machine couldn't be in use when the guest was in the room. Disappointed in response and knowledge of staff.

Cons: Bathroom had no electrical outlets, so couldn’t use the supplied hair dryer in the bathroom, and no fan. TV had to load some weird “portal” software which was glitchy and hard to use.
