Phuket City Cargo Van Hire

Like most cities with large populations, Phuket City experiences rush hour traffic. The first wave of traffic is usually from 7:30 am to 9:30 am, while the second wave normally lasts from 4 pm to 6 pm. The roads affected the most by the first wave are the ones leading to the city, while the ones affected by the second wave are headed outwards of the city. If you have to drive through either, have a GPS installed. It will assist you in finding alternative routes in real time.

To achieve a smooth driving experience in Phuket City, note that you're supposed to drive on the left-hand side of the road. Many local drivers don't always take much notice of the speed limit. However, to avoid trouble with authorities, maintain a speed of 60 km/h (37 mph) in built-up areas and 120 km/h (74 mph) on national highways. When driving, take note of motorcycles and pedestrians weaving through the traffic. Although illegal, overtaking on the inside and running red lights is common. Hence, defensive driving is advised.

If you want to ride with your child in your cargo van rental, note that in Phuket City, children under the age of 6, or those 135 cm or shorter, must be seated in a booster seat or a child safety seat when in a vehicle. Those above the said age or taller than set can use seat belts.
