Pros: Despite looking a dated, this is a surprisingly comfortable, hip and laid back hotel, located in a really safe area of Leblon and in walking distance of the shops / bars. Only 3 rooms per floor, with the deluxe suite being big and welcoming (in a 1970s way, but with flat screen TVs in lunge and bedroom); the normal suite is a little underwhelming. The master suites have the full beach view, and are more open plan...but pricey. If you can't afford the copacabana palace or the fasano, this is a decent alternative

Pros: Scarcly furnished room, really not a 4 star hotel, more like a European 2-3 star. Scummy carpet in the hallways and breakfast room, tile floors, bathroom OK, and very loud room due to the fact that the windows are old single pane facing forward to the Copacabana side. Nice view though ;)

Pros: We loved having the beach so close. We enjoyed waking up to breakfast. Being able to open our windows and get a little bit of the city but also even on the 3rd floor we felt safe enough. THE STAFF are the ones to be congratulated. We tipped them, they were all so lovely. The maids were honest and respectable. We will stay here again for sure. 10 out of 10.... i can't deduct for the bed not being as comfortable as I am used too because the rest of the experience made up for it.

Pros: While, staying at the Copacabana Praia Hotel, we really appreciated the helpful nature of all the staff. They helped us out with everything we needed from towels and silverware to finding a bank and fun excursions. It was very comforting to know that they were there if we needed anything. They also found us a driver who could take us on the longer trips for less money and with more freedom on our part to do what we wanted. He gave us great suggestions. We also really enjoyed the continental breakfast that was included. It was delicious and well stocked. The bathrooms were luxurious, with tile all around and nice hot water! Although this may not be necessary to some, their shampoo and conditioner really makes your hair feel soft.

Pros: The location is the best you could ask in Rio. The suite was the most amazing I have seen with two doors to a huge balcony where you can have your morning coffee overseeing Copacabana beach.

Pros: The hotel is conveniently located with amazing views over Copacabana beach from the rooftop. The booking.com rate made it excellent value for money compared to published rates. Staff very helpful and friendly.
