Pros: The property is absolutely 100% excellent. The staff are beyond friendly and help with suggestions within the area. The rooms are comfortable, large and in a beautiful building. Awesome place!
Cons: Breakfast was nice but not incredible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were delightful, friendly and professional, every single one. Our room was fantastic as well, but what really makes this place so good are the common areas and the sense of home you get here. It felt like a big, gorgeous home and we felt part of the family. Anything we needed, they were happy to help. Gabrielle gave us so many useful tips on where to go and what to see as well. Food was delicious, breakfast amazing and location 100%. The hotel also books a band to play on the square next door once a month, giving back to the local community. The bathroom products were high quality, there was even a hammock in our room. Do yourself a favour and book this if you are going to Valladolid.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms, dining area, entry, pool space - all are comfortable, beautiful, exceptional. The owners and staff are informative and accommodating. We missed breakfast due to a birding trip (ask for Ismael) but the kitchen whipped up a delicious breakfast moments after we got back. We’re tempted to book a few days here every December!

Pros: Amazing and kind service, super great breakfast and cozy, homey athmosphere.
Cons: The toilet was broken in our room at arrival, so we got another room for the first night out of three, which wasn’t as good as the one we booked. When we got the right room, the aircondition was very noisy unfortunately, so we had to turn it off at night.

Pros: We had a great stay, the highlights being an early morning visit to the market with Dennis and Terla and an evening swim where Henry served us Cuba Libra's and played dj for our enjoyment. Pros: Fabulous location and beautiful hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a truly beautiful place. Old colonial style hotel with lots of places to sit and chill. The decor has been choosen with a lot of love to detail. Great breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, cereal and eggs. Good coffee. Its situated in the prettiest street - calzada de los frailes, one of the landmarks, leading up to the convent de san bernadino. The main square with the catedral is only 5 minutes walk away, so the location is fab. We ended up staying longer than originally planned as we liked it so much. The pool is a nice bonus. The room and the bed were large with a wardrobe, proper nightstands and a seperate bathroom/toilet.
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely. A very pretty courtyard area and airy front room for breakfast. The room was very clean. Our only complaint with the room was the lack of lights, only one very dim overhead light but we were out and about most of the time so not really a big deal. The pool was nice to have after a hot day of trekking around. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located on a pretty street close to the central square and walkable to the bus station.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely grounds. Clean, comfortable room. Quiet and Calming. Great pool.
Cons: Brightness on the light on the air conditioning unit

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous time at Zentik! The staff are all so wonderful, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The complimentary shot of tequila on arrival is a very nice touch. The pool and cave areas are both fantastic, so relaxing. We really didn't want to leave!
Cons: The beds are really hard and the bathroom could offer more privacy for families.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: High quality hotel with fab food and excellent staff. Enjoyed our stay. The salt cave was fantastic and we loved seeing the tortoises on their morning walk. Great free breakfast. Really loved meeting Roy the dog.
Cons: One room had a swinging bed which was unexpected...
7.5 Good
Pros: the Lovely design and layout / the charred banana dessert and café de olla.
Cons: 1)The location.. scary to drive thru at night.. 2)Lots of Mosquitos and no bug repellent provided or citronella placed in rooms. 3) Noticeably Understaffed/ Undertrained: Waiters and Receptionist( Susana) were stressed out.. thus letting go of multiple opportunities to show proper hospitality and customer centricity.. ( had four unpleasant experiences). 4) Menu outdated and for the food options that were still being offered some were out of stock!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Interesting space. Very relaxing. Large rooms with murals and Mexican embroidered linens. Lots of fun places to sit outside. Outdoor and underground pool. Good massages. Reasonable food with vegan options. Front desk knowledgeable about local events and helpful booking tours.
Cons: Breakfast starts at 7:30. Earlier would be good to get a head start for Chicken Itza where the parking lot is full by 8 am. It was convenient to charge services to the room BUT we felt we were hounded to tip waiters, bar staff, cleaning staff etc. which took the convenience away. Just add it to the bill please.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cave is awwsome. Beds were great, really comfortables. Brekfast was very good. The staff was very
Cons: Our room was a little bit dark. There ia not so much priviacy in the bathroon inside the room if you are traveling with friends but I guess that is OK for couples. It was a little noisy with traffic in the early morning (motorbikes and the mexican gas truck that goes along the streets with a loud song singing Z Z Z gas). Just small things. The hotel is really beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a heaven.
Cons: Not easy to find.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting, incredible cave. Rooms nice but dark. Suzi at front desk super helpful. Restaurant staff less so.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful in helping us find places to eat and visit. Beautiful little city! This Hoyle was very nice. Narrow stairway going up to our room but the room was very nice. There is a nice small pool in the back with a hammock that we didn't use but looked nice.
Cons: Nothing it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was amazing. Patricia at the front desk made us feel so welcomed. She personally showed us to our room and gave us directions to anyplace we wanted to see. She also recommended a nice restaurant and told us about a Mayan food festival where we got to enjoy some awesome dishes and even meet the mayor of Valladolid. We’d have never experienced these things without Patricia’s help. She made our stay truly special. Our room was small, but comfortable with lots of character, charm, and small touches that you’d never find in a chain hotel. We loved the balcony overlooking the street as well.
Cons: The pool was a bit on the cold side, but it was hot out so that really didn’t bother me.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice small hotel. Stayed in deluxe suite. Comfortable beds, large bathroom, clean. Good WiFi connection. Nice common areas to make coffee or do light cooking. 5 mins walk from center square.
Cons: Indeed the pool is very small but it seems less important as the day is spent on excursions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice and the room is very clean.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming courtyard. Excellent bathroom with no end to the hot water. Very clean.
Cons: Our room was directly adjacent to the reception desk.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient to the bus station and the main town square. The room was spotlessly clean and well thought out (reading lights and fans for each of the bunk beds for example) and having a small fridge in the room was a welcome additional. Pillow top mattresses were a welcome change from the box-spring like hard mattresses you find in so many hotels these days.
Cons: The communal kitchen area was a nice feature but it needs to be spruced up a bit and equipped more thoroughly (coffee filters for the coffee maker for example, maybe some mugs instead of styrofoam cups) and the pool looked like it could use a thorough cleaning. We found the staff friendly and helpful but were a bit disappointed that the only option suggested to us for getting to to/from Ek Balam was expensive “taxi tours” when there’s other options (collectivos taxis run to/from Ek Balam each day for much less than a taxi tour. Still, we’d definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place in a good location. Comfortable and clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and very central location in the beautiful city of Valladolid!! The small pool is really nice to refresh during the day and the kitchen is a plus for a cup of tea or coffee in the morning.
Cons: If I really have to find a minor thing the WiFi was not so powerful, but it’s usually not something so important while on holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds are comfortable. Excellent service. Friendly staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and well kept Friendly staff Fantastic location a few blocks from the square Cozy patio/ inner yard Large room, comfy beds
Cons: The pool was more of a pond than a pool to swim in.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The stuff was really nice, they gave us a map at the arrival and introduced us the interesting places in and around the city. Also was great to have a parking place behind the hotel. We were surprised, that the noise from the main street didn't disturb us during our stay. It was quiet in our room.
Cons: It is quite far from the city center and the lights at the street are not well lighting so be careful with your steps and watch out all the cars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, hotel facilities... Everything was great. The staff was really helpful and trustworthy. When the first morning, I paid for the breakfast, when I came back at the end of the day, they told me after checking, my breakfast was already included, and refunded me. It is a small story, but it is a real example of why I would recommend such small hotel.
Cons: Breakfast is limited but fruits are great. Otherwise, difficult to find anything to enhance in this hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The garden was beautiful! And the property was clean. Staff were very helpful
Cons: A bit further away than we thought.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Gave good advice. Would definitely recommend this place.
7.9 Good
Pros: - Nice and well kept facilities. - clean and comfortable room - Parking availability
Cons: - The staff was not very friendly with a very tense attitude.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room size, beds, personnel, free water, room was very clean good value for the price
Cons: Noisy room, swimming pool not clean
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Basic room but comfortable and spacious. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Wifi worked okay in room.
Cons: Although in town, it is a bit of a walk to restaurants mostly because of the lack of decent sidewalks and walkways. Breakfast, as they tell you is just coffee, fresh fruit and toast. The toast is commercial pre-toasted toast so, hard and tasteless. They should get fresh bread from a local bakery. Fresh cut fruit was delicious.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Once room was changed it was very comfortable and quiet given its city centre location. Great value
Cons: Given wrong room originally. It was noisy and poorly equipped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good, would habe stayed longer if we had the chance.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We used to stay in hostels during our travels in Mexico. However, we found this hotel which was cheaper than any hostel in Valladolid. Additionally, we both had a bedroom with a double bed, which was great!
Cons: The check-in process was kind of weird, as they first texted me that there were 'technical problems' and that therefore I couldn't stay in the hotel. However, when I arrived there was no problem at all.
6.7 Good
Cons: The only thing that I did not like about this property was that they would not honour the deal that I had reserved through booking.com. I had selected one of the cabins and thought I was going to get a bit of a discount over the normal rate as suggested when I booked the room. But the staff would not honour the rate quoted and I ended up paying full price for a standard room. This is the first time I have used booking.com and it was an unpleasant surprise. I think I will go back to using Expedia.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil location beautiful grounds and very friendly
Cons: Some of staff crazy for tips ... envelope left in our room by the housekeepers, no change available at reception on paying the bill are two examples no problem giving tips for good service which we did at restaurant but not for the basics of staying in the room
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: Pool and toilets were dirty. Not like the pictures at all.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s accommodation from another world, 16th Hacienda.
Cons: On site restaurant doesn’t open for dinner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a special experience, staying in such an historic environment, as well as it quietness and grand feeling. The (mostly) spanish speaking staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We expected WiFi in the room. However, we needed to get close to the reception. We couldn't dine in the restaurant as it closed at 4pm the day we were there. Drinks and breakfast were good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great choice close to Valladolid, as an immersion to the past.
6.0 Good
Pros: nice garden & pool nice baby bed
Cons: mold (schimmel) in the room on walls. room smelly
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There was nobody there, we wanted to have dinner but there was nobody there. We had booked including breakfast but there was nobody on the property so we could not have breakfast. The appartement was empty and we did not have a single glass, plate or knife/fork. All in all very overpriced and a very big disappointment. We will contacting the Hacienda for a followup.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic, 15 minutes from downtown but far enough for the Hacienda isolation experience. Rooms are very spacious, gorgeous and clean. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Area was beautiful and quiet. Facilities are exactly as depicted in the pictures.
Cons: Restaurant was extremely understaffed and limited food. Breakfast was included but they open at 8-8:30 am and takes close to 2 hrs from the time you order to end so it’s not conducive for early departures or early sightseeing. After 8 pm, no one is around to help you with any issues but no problems arouse so we were good. Going out to restaurants was easy and they provide numbers for cab drivers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is gorgeous and well maintained. The red villa was very spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated the calmness of this hacienda, the decoration is amazing. We loved walking around the property, lovely gardens, nice little swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, home made and delicious.
Cons: They seem to be understaffed. At the restaurant there was only one person (who did an excellent job!) cooking and serving which made things very slow. The kitchen was empty. It would have been nice to have a couple of dishes, glasses, etc.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really attentive. You could also explore the entire hacienda at leisure, and staff were happy to show us round other suites in the main building. It's an impressive building, and we almost had the run of the place! It's sad that they don't allow anyone to eat in the historical hacienda though - which is just available to visit as a museum.
Cons: I found the room descriptions a bit confusing and ended up booking the wrong kind of room. We also found out that not all the room options were viewable online (or at least, so I believe). I also thought that we would be able to dine in the historical hacienda, but this is just for show as a museum.

Pros: We had a great stay, the highlights being an early morning visit to the market with Dennis and Terla and an evening swim where Henry served us Cuba Libra's and played dj for our enjoyment. Both magical. And the breakfast was probably the best in a trip of many good breakfasts. Eggs fried in pepper rings and fried bananas cooked perfectly.
Cons: We liked everything!

Pros: We had an amazing stay at casa hamaca guesthouse. Denis and his team are increadably kind and welcoming. Denis has a wealth of knowledge of mexico and valladolid. The breakfast provided were very good. The location was perfect, close enough to the central park, and situated in a very quiet peacefull neighborhood with its own little park and historical church. Thanks Denis, it was a pleasure meeting you and your team we had a very pleasant stay and hope our paths meet again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Amazing 3 course breakfast served at your table in the garden. Room was stunning. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Very grand with a four poster bed and marble bathroom. Lovely hot shower (godsend after travelling through many places without) Strong WiFi Short taxi ride to Cenotes, we saw 3 out of town but you could walk to Zaci in 5 minutes from the front door. Super comfortable bed and the room was spotless. Best hotel we stayed in during our trip, thanks !!

Cons: Drove past it without seeing it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and kind service, super great breakfast and cozy, homey athmosphere.
Cons: The toilet was broken in our room at arrival, so we got another room for the first night out of three, which wasn’t as good as the one we booked. When we got the right room, the aircondition was very noisy unfortunately, so we had to turn it off at night.

Pros: Wonderful staff, great breakfast, perfect location, and a beautiful place to stay.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here! It is a really cute hotel. Nice there is a pool to cool off after a day of walking in the city.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: excellent restaurant which is nicely decorated nice staff central location close to sights
Cons: wifi was a bit flaky bathroom a bit dated and one day the shower only had cold water
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel with lots of character, The staff was very friendly and helpful, We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant , the service was excellent and quick. Our room was clean with very comfortable beds. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant is very good and convenient in the evening. The location is perfect. The rooms are quiet and there are awesome views from the terra es
Cons: The restaurant is very good, the package options for breakfast are a bit inconvenient, we had a kid of 2y old and if we wanted him to eat (weel, 1 egg is enough), we had to order him a plate and pay for it extra. The pillows are not comfortable and we couls not sleep well
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The cleanes and location.
Cons: The room didn't have a refrigerator and wifi speed could be better.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location like always
Cons: Guest service, service in general, the room,
9.4 Excellent
Pros: This facility is attractive and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the owners, husband and wife, who are exceptionally good at making their guests feel welcome and at home. The food - both breakfast and dinner - was good, and for the two non-vegans in our party of three the dishes and recipes very interesting, worth the experience.
Cons: The wifi was weak in our room, and the shower a bit "cranky". Neither of these things were serious issues for us, but worth mentioning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, staff was super friendly, and it was generally a very cozy place to be at. It was a little loud sometimes because the walls were pretty thin and we could hear everyone in the pool. But overall a peaceful place. Our breakfast was included and was pretty nice. The restaurant connected to the hotel is good. It was awesome that we could walk to everything in the city from our hotel, and that the hotel has trips to sights in Yucatán for a good price.
Cons: It was sometimes a bit loud with all the noise around when you are a light sleeper. But considering that it is in the center of the city, it was actually not that bad. The staff did not always speak English, and we do not speak Spanish, so communication could sometimes be a little difficult, but it usually worked out anyways.
5.0 Okay
Pros: their breakfast is nice
Cons: Lighting in room is not enough, the room is very dark.
7.0 Good
Pros: very good location, fantastic restaurant; comfy beds, swimming pool is picturesque
Cons: quite loud at night, the room was dark in daytime; bathroom urges for renovation.
4.0 Okay
Cons: While the location of the hotel is nice and central, there was little else that left us positively inclined; • breakfast selection was very sparse (e.g. Either fruits or eggs, but you can’t choose both) • the pool was dirty • the check-in staff was very insistent on pushing one of their tours on us • the rooms were sparsely furnished, notably missing a kettle and fridge • our room (318) had one window facing what can best be described as a maintenance shaft
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully located in front of cathedral. Beautiful heritage hotel with modern upgrades. Boxes lunch option for visiting the ruins was greatly appreciated.
Cons: Our room we couldn’t open the windows at night no screens.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room overall...AC worked well, as did the hot water (mentioning the latter because many reviews have faulted this). Only stayed for one night, but enjoyed it.
Cons: The window for check-in (3pm to 6pm) is a little ridiculous. There was a bit of flexibility on the 6pm side (it seemed like it could go as late as 6:30pm), but I still find the time window to be way too tight.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Beds are very confortable. Hot water available
Cons: Water pressure is pretty low, so you might have a shower with only little water.
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean.
Cons: It's very noisy when there's talking happening on the hallway.

Pros: Everything. Nice room, good staff and location. Had everything we needed

With a stay at Ecotel Quinta Regia, you'll be centrally located in Valladolid, within a 5-minute drive of Cenote Zaci and Cathedral of San Gervasio. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Back in the day the hotel was a fruit farm, so smack dab in the middle of Valladolid it offers an astonishing green retreat from the city. I visited at the end of a busy two-week trip seeing archeological sites and wanted a quiet, pleasant environment to decompress before flying home. The hotel was the perfect place for my purposes and would serve anyone well as a base for seeing things in the Valladolid area such as Chichen Itza, Ek Balam or the cenotes.
Cons: The IT setup involves use of a browser window for authentication. The connection drops unpredictably without notification, so you have to check to see if you're still connected. If you're using a laptop, Firefox will give you the connection heads up. If you're using a cell phone, bookmark the network login page and pull it up to check if your connection is still active or not.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, comfortable and was decorated in colonial style. Very good breakfast, reasonably priced.
Cons: The only downsides - about 15-20 walk from the center of town (although taxi ride was only $1), inconsistent wi-fi.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nice location and good surroundings.
Cons: This hotel charges 110+ US Dollars for a king bed room. But the toilet is broken, it gets stuck. We cannot use it. We call the front desk but they never come and help. We have to go out and find public restroom. Everything in the room is so old. Door broken. Hard to open and close. Totally does not worth the money. The bed is not comfortable, does not feel clean. Pillow is really hard.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very big hotel with a lot of buses of tourists.
Cons: Staff not very friendly, don t even talk about breakfast. Room with a view over the car park. No wifi.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nicely decorated and fairly large room. Very comfy bed. Grounds are well maintained and lovely.
Cons: A bit far to walk to the main square. It's a big hotel, and some rooms seem to have better views than others. Our view was pretty boring.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Although there was confusion locating our reservation when we arrived the staff were very helpful providing accommodations. The restaurant staff should be thanked for their help and English speaking ability. Ecotel Quinta Regia is a cluster of two story building with very large room including either deck or balcony faced by very mature plants and shrubs. A most pleasant environment for relaxation. There is a tennis court and pool for guests. A good choice for a stay in Valladolid.
Cons: Breakfast began at 7:00 AM. Our group of three arrived just before 8:00 AM. A tour group was finishing their buffet breakfast--in the hotels very pleasant restaurant-. There was limited food remaining in the buffet spread and it was not replenish. Eggs were prepared for us according to our preference and coffee was refilled but we were unsuccessful learning if the buffet was set out for the tour group alone and is not a component of the "Breakfast Included" description.
6.7 Good
Cons: Staff dont speak english. It is to expensive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The looks, the style, the plants and the space.
Cons: The bathroom odor. It wasnt pleasant.
