S$ 165+

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Parador de Zamora is set in an old palace right on the main square. It is in wonderful shape and furnished according to a "palace" style. Although parking was nearby the concierge said it was confusing so he parked our car for us. We took an upgrade and fully enjoyed a large room with a canopied bed, sitting area and window over the main square. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different atmospheric common areas as well. The town is walk-able with an old church (alas closed when we were there), the ruins of a castle which we were able to walk around, and numerous restaurants. There is a wonderful museum with the religious floats used during their famous Holy Week parades. They are amazing.
Cons: Finding the parador was a little difficult (as it was with most of the paradors) but worth it. They were setting up the main square for a market the next day. I would have loved to stay for it but retrieving our car during the market would have been a problem so we left before it started.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Classic Parador - location; service; room & food
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Excellent location.
Cons: No air conditioning in whole of hotel at this time of year despite being advertised as a facility available. Room very hot and stuffy - over 25 degrees C. No way of cooling the room except sleeping with window wide open all night. Raining outside and workmen early morning. Very noisy. Night receptionist couldn’t do anything to help. Dreadful nights sleep ahead of a long day’s drive the next day. Chose high quality hotels as part of our trip across Spain and we were looking forwards to staying here but very let down by the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very nice and helpful. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Not a thing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Splendid old building, typical parador. Regrettably our ferry was very late, so we didn't arrive in time for dinner - but breakfast was excellent. The room was large and comfortable - good bathroom. Front desk very helpful in finding us parking nearby (garage was full, but we parked at the back of the hotel easily for 2 euros!). Location very convenient - a short walk took you along pedestrianised streets to shops, and this is a charming old city. We used it only as a one night stop en route to Portugal, and would certainly do so again.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic building in a fabulous situation.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice place clean and centr
Cons: Parking is a. Issue breakfast good selection but all so called English breakfast were stone cold

Pros: Secure garage parking for our motorbike. Availability of room service, albeit with a limited menu The room had air-con. Breakfast was pretty good - with a reasonable selection
Cons: The restaurant was closed - which we hadn't been told in advance The area is unexciting. The old town is not too far a walk way I believe, but we were tired and couldn't be bothered to go and find it. It felt like a primarily business hotel that was almost empty, felt deserted, because it was a Friday night.

Pros: The hotel is very near the center, there is cafe next to the reception, and a supermarket next door. Room was comfy.
Cons: On arrival the elderly man at the reception was very rude. Not just to us, but also to a family before us. He wasn't happy with their request and swore couple of times. When I was about to check in, he just abruptly finish conversation and without any apology he answered the phone. Then he forgot my name again. Not a great first impression. 7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location to see the sights of Zamora.
Cons: We had an issue because we were not aware of the additional charge for a pet because when we made the reservation we asked and were told there was no additional charges. In the end, the hotel resolved the misunderstanding for us and this shows good customer service on their part. The walls are very thin and as we stayed on a Saturday there was a group half on our floor and half on the floor above us and they were continually going up and down the stairs and listening to loud music well past midnight.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We booked this room literally as we sat at a cafe around the corner. Didn’t really know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Spacious, clean, two separate beds, and great location.
Cons: The only downside is that I selected it on booking.com because AC was listed (it was blistering hot in Zamora that day). Our room didn’t have AC but there was a fan that helped a little. I noticed an AC control unit in the hallway near the elevator so someone had AC ... but it wasn’t us.
7.1 Good
Pros: The reception staff were very smiley and friendly. The location is excellent, there are great taparerias within a few metres.
Cons: Our non smoking room stank of smoke. It was ok after two days with the window open. The shower head was heavily scaled. The shower door didn't close properly. The hotel was by far the most expensive that we had booked in Spain over a four week trip and was very poor value for money.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good price and clean room - halfway between station and cathedral. It’s got a little tapas bar downstairs and a few others nearby... about 20 minutes on door to the marvellous cathedral.
Cons: Rooms a bit poky.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot in fact nothing
Cons: Well the owners were very arrogant to start off with and even raised there voices. The room felt like it was in the middle of the corridor and we heard every movement from all other hotel guests didn’t sleep at all. We went downstairs for breakfast and again the owners were arrogant and even though we left a tip for breakfast they charged us €2 for 2 little bottles of water as just up the road we got a large bottle for just 83cents. The bed was hard and you just had to move and the bed moved also. Only 1pillow which was very uncomfortable and lots of noise from outside. Not once did we see the owners smile. I will never return back ever and nor would I recommend it at all
5.4 Okay
Pros: Rooms, although basic were clean and acceptable for a one night stay.
Cons: Staff not very friendly or helpful. There was secure parking but they expected me to ride a heavy bike up a high kerb, when I asked them to other the other gate I got a muttered response and led to an insecure outside area. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for secure parking. My card didn't work on check in (the card I booked with and had used several times whilst in the area) so they demanded another card, the attitude of the receptionist wasn't good.
6.7 Good
Pros: was normal but taking in count the price i have to say was below average
Cons: in general the place is ok, but i really need internet and suppose to have, well there was, just simple maybe because my room location, i couldn't connect, and i had to work.
6.3 Good
Pros: In the restaurant, there was a good selection of food and prices were ok. The aircon worked well and the shower had good pressure.
Cons: The smell of mould and stale tobacco. This has been highlighted a number of times but it appears that nothing has been done. The assurance that the parking gate was closed at night, when I asked about the security of my motorbike. In fact, it was not.

Cons: Spotty Wifi
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom is clean and the bed is comfortable. The reception staff is friendly and helpful who showed me a map of the old town, telling the places of attraction. Good value of money
Cons: The wall is paper thin. We can hear whenever people walked along the hallway or open/close door. We know when the people next to our room go to toilet or take a bath!! Far from the old town. Ok if you have a car. Otherwise not recommend
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice restaurant, good midday meal for 13 euros. Comfortable bed. Free parking.
