Waited at the counter upon return to "inquire" about tax benefits (in Dubai) and a copy of the final receipt - to include "any possible tickets/fines and amount of tolls (if any)" - waited at the counter for 45 minutes - in order for them just to say that they could not provide ANY of this information - simply due to the fact that I reserved and paid for the car online via Kayak - which is ridiculous. In addition - it people who were picking up cars, appeared to have priority over people who were returning cars - as they already have your money.

One lady very good and quick taking care of customers.

It's impossible to understand how much they are going to charge. They tried to increase the price of the car of a lot of money. Thankfully I had the email showing the price I had reserved it for. They overcharge for deposits through a 3rd party company and they are not sure when the deposit will be returned, if it will be returned, as several people had issues with it. The deposit is $1000. There was a nice lady working there. 2 men standing next to her didn't want to help us out, one asked the other to help and he said no! When returned the car and asked for a receipt with charges they tried to tell us they would have emailed us. Not very professional!

The experience of Budget in Dubai was catastrophic. First of all, there is no counter in terminal 3, so we have to take a train with all our family and all the luggages to terminal 1 to pick up the car. Secondly, the return was at terminal 1 and our departure in terminal 3 but since our flight was at 6 am, there was no train to go to terminal 3 so we have to walk with all the luggages for 25 minutes. Lastly, and something I do not accept, is that they charged us 1150 USD (4200 AED) for two small scratches on the hood of the car, which I did not see at pick-up. The only way to get scratches on the hood is by hitting a ceiling when opening it, which I did not do. The total rent for 4 days was 200 USD, so I am convinced that they exploit customers by charging them unacceptable amounts to make money, especially because we give a credit card as security.

The receptionist took very long time to handover the car, and even longer time to receive the car without any respect to my time ( almost 40 min) I almost missed my flight! Also they have only one office in terminal 1, so if you have flights departing from terminal 2 or 3 you need to count for time and expenses!

Handing over the car key and ask you to pick the car is not good. I was told that I have 10 mins to get the car out of the parking and forcing me not to check the car properly. Sent a mail asking for details and no response even after 3 days.

After 30 minutes of waiting in line they refused to rent me a car because I could not prove that I live in Canada - the country where I received my drivers license. I have no Idea why I have to prove that, Ideally valid documents should be enough, but the result is disappointing: I did not get a car, the company did not receive my money.

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

Hidden charges which never agreed! Stuff won’t accept but to charge the daily hidden charges, even though it’s not mentioned in my booking!

Cons:

Charges should be clearly mentioned and never hide unexpected charges! Even little amount of money should always be clarify! PS NO HIDDEN CHARGES! this makes me feel I’ve been scammed, not good at all.
