The location is great. But that's all. Nothing else met my expectation.
1. The staff in the front desk are not professional. Basically people should wait 20 min in average for check-in. 2. The phone operators are full of lies. I called them to send me a air-dryer, it took more than 60 mins, 3 calls, 2 personal visit to front-desk, and the manager finally came to deliver the air dryer. Their informal explanation is that they were busy and short or spare air-dryers. But if they can't deal with the stayers' request properly, what were they busy for? 3. The club lounge is so disappointing. 4. The pictures provided in booking.com is over photoshopped. 5. The facilities are old. Some charger could not work. 6. The fire alarm alerted twice during my stay. But the staff did not help evacuation. They even could not answer if it is a regular drill. I think this is life-threatening.
Breakfast was lovely, and the bar staff was flexible in the evening when we wanted dessert! Lovely reception and lobby area, bathroom was nicr
The room was nice but not to the same standard as lobby/reception area.
Convenient location, late check out at 12 noon, upgraded to ‘refurbished’ room.
Some building work noise, check out was busy, air con noisy and not very efficient. No soap or body lotion provided.
rooms were hot and air conditioning did not work properly the entire time
Great location, nice staff, a big fairly modern hotel where most hotels in London are small and pokey
Room 717, where we were staying, has a problem with cigarette smoke and smells wafting in through the air conditioning. Apparently, management ‘know’ about the problem but can’t fix it. I think it’s staff smoking on the roof.
