Pros: The Midland Hotel is an impressive building in an excellent location. I found the staff invariably professional, courteous and attentive at all times, no matter what their area of expertise.
My room was large, sumptuous and beautifully quiet. Ample desk and coffee table space with several arm chairs, and a dressing area, beyond which was the spacious en-suite bathroom. Plenty of available electrical outlets, good sized TV, mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities and sparkly glassware rounded off the in-room facilities very nicely.
Room service food was priced fairly and arrived promptly and piping hot.

Pros: The location. Ideal for Picaddily station and the airport train. Much better than airport hotels as the whole of Manchester centre is yours for the night. My favourite pubs, Marble Arch and Jolly Angler both close by.

"Located in City Centre, this hotel is steps away from Affleck's Palace and Piccadilly Gardens. The Gay Village and Manchester Arndale are also within 10 minutes. Market Street Station and Picadilly Gardens Station are within a 5-minute walk. "
