Pros: My daughter and I had our own spa night - loved the room, bathroom and staff were exceptional. Even put water in our car for the drive home!

Pros: What a gorgeous place!!! The attentiveness of the staff was fantastic. the food was wonderful - I ate at the Melba and although it was exspensive it was exceptional food. The room was lovely. My primary reason for selecting the hotel was the old world charm of the hotel. I don't see value for money in modern hotels. I booked 2 rooms for myself and my husband, our older son and a family friend and would do so again. We all had a massage at the Chuan Spa which I found was outstanding. The staff there were amazing and the masseur although young was extremely talented and well trained. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. If you like comfort and extreme luxury and to be surrounded by beauty. I think it is the best in Melbourne.

Pros: We look forward to staying at The Langham Hotel again when we next visit Melbourne. Our every need was catered for with grace and cheerfulness. This is a 'happy' hotel from room staff, to people on reception, concierge, and those servicing gourmet venues. Small but important details like bottled water beside the bed each night distinguished this hotel from others we have stayed at.

Pros: It is definitely well worth upgrading to Yarra River views as they are mesmerising! This former Hilton hotel has been renovate so it is much brighter and modern. Great buffet breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.

Pros: We chose it for it's location. It is adjacent to the Melbourne Convention Centre Plenary auditorium where we attended a presentation by the astrophysicist Dr Neil DeGrass Tyson.

Pros: The location is great if you just need a place to crash in the CBD or near Southern Cross station (a 5 minute walk down Spencer St). Staff seemed friendly enough. Rooms were well laid out, in a typical budget hotel style.
