Pros: Really well located, a very interesting mix of people to watch, especially in the bar. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was also amazing. The coffee was good!
Cons: Guests were smoking in the hotel bar. The rooms are on the small side, but not a massive issue as you don't spend much time in your hotel room on holiday. Our room was next to a supplies cupboard so it was quite noisy. I think they could improve by adding tea and coffee making facilities to each room and banning smoking in the bar

Pros: This hotel is outstanding including the rooms, the bar, and the restaurant. The hotel staff is excellent. They go above and beyond what is expected. Extremely helpful. Have stayed here twice in past three weeks and will stay here whenever I am in Riga.

Pros: Last year the hotel was great!
Cons: I was unable to fly because my passport expires in January. I didn’t know this rule until I got to the airport and was refused a boarding pass. Too late to get a refund on the hotel... maybe next year...

Cons: The bed was so squeaky that we couldn't get to sleep for all the noise and our laughing. Get a new box spring, for heaven's sake!

Pros: I loved the location and the staff was friendly, especially the new girl. The room was super clean and the bed crazy comfortable for a hotel.
Cons: Unfortunately, many features in the room didn't work. The minifridge was broken, which was unfortunate as I had perishables. The plug for the drain in the bathtub was broken, sending all the lovely bath salts that came with the room straight down the drain. The television also didn't work, though that's lowest on my list. It was really unfortunate because it was ALMOST so perfect. (Fix the room on the second floor, very end of the corridor, and it would be a five star rating)

Excellent location and value for money, although didn't use Spa or swimming pool, so cannot comment on those facilities. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was very nice. I would highly recommend and if I go to Riga would look to stay here.

Cons: The room was very small. The furniture need ergently renovation. Near the hotel there is building construction so it's usually noisy in the rooms which turns to the front of the street.
