Pros: Lea B&B is a fantastic gem of a B&B. Although most people drive there, it's on a good bus route (Ross to Hereford) so a good alternative to staying in Ross on Wye centre. There's a nice, great value Indian restaurant in the local pub which is two minutes away making this a convenient stop.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always a warm welcome from staff, breakfast very good and location absolutely magic. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Would recommend to all. The area is so beautiful and the Ferrie Inn is the perfect place to stay.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. All good.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Reception was good with a welcoming log fire, the room was clean and comfortable, location was excellent. Eating was a different matter. In the morning I was leaving quite early and the staff kindly left a continental-type breakfast out for me.
Cons: The restaurant is where it all falls apart. I was served hot food brought to the table on a stone-cold plate which was obviously considered acceptable. The hot food seemed ok, but soon chilled. When questioned about this, the evening manageress simply said it was unusual. I ordered a brandy and was served it in a Duralex water tumbler! Again when questioned, the manageress instantly knew this was wrong as the glass should be a round glass.....what like a wine glass?!!!!) I like a decent bottle of wine and don't mind paying for it but it's something they can't supply. The only wine they offer is just awful, low-budget rubbish. Another minor niggle is that the bread they kindly left out for breakfast didn't fit into the toaster! Talk about a square peg in a round hole. I was looking for somewhere to stay for New Year, but this place just isn't up to scratch. It's a shame or do I expect too much? The owner or manager needs to get a grip.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: General atmosphere and staff were friendly and a great location
Cons: Hard to criticize
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The service we received at y o f i was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed an early January break our evening meal and breakfast with superb and the wine list was very very reasonable. A lovely place to just relax and sit back in front of a beautiful log fire
Cons: Unfortunately due to several large parties during the day several items were not available on the menu, what we did have however was outstanding despite initial disappointment of not being able to have a steak
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location very good - but (no fault of property!) the river was in flood and parking was affected and outside was affected. Breakfast was good as was the pub meal. Great bar, very good choice of good ales and ciders. Our room was very pleasant with a great view: the bathroom was good, but not quite the top standard. The manager, Tim, was outstandingly good.
Cons: The access to the top floor was difficult - an old building with narrow stairs - difficult if you have mobility problems. The thin walls transmitted noise - but there was no real a problem during our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food and lovely room

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Old Court was comfortable, friendly and warm. The bedroom floor was quirky and uneven but the bed comfortable. We liked the fire in the hall was accompanied by the 2 monk chairs. The staff were help and attentive
Cons: I thought the standard/quality of the coffee at breakfast was very poor 2nd only to a 5* hotel we have been to near Whitby.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Being accused of smoking in rooms. Didn't happen. Hotel smells of log burner even in rooms. Letters pushed under our doors informing us of extra charges instead of confronting us. Inadequate lighting in car park when dark mornings. Electrical items not fully pat certified. I could go on because I'm a site safety manager.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! Tori and Jono were so welcoming, as were all the staff! It's and old 16th Century house full of character, this isn't an Ibis!! It's absolutely fabulous and we can't wait to go back! The vegetarian breakfast was beautiful, the veg sausage was sublime! Curry night the evening before departure and it was perfect! He had the Goan which was just the right heat and I went for the other curry with 2pepper rating(can't remembered the name other than it started with an M
Cons: Loved everything!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really nice! very nice welcome, very carying. Food was good, we enjoyed that too. Hotel garden is beautiful!
Cons: We paid fair money 30£/night. And another 30£/night for 2 dogs. I was informed its 15£ for dog but wasnt aware it's for one. Its bit expensive. :( Rooms were tied up but not 100% clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: An intriguing mix of old and (relatively) modern styles as shown on the website. Our room in the 1970s extension was spacious, warm (essential in January!), and nicely furnished. The en-suite was modern and spotlessly clean. In the original part of the hotel there was ambiance in spades with log fires helping to keep the bar and sitting areas cozy. Dinner, served in the bar was tasty and the portions very generous. An excellent breakfast was served in the impressive "baronial” hall and set us up for the day. Poor weather meant we didn’t see much of the garden but we’re already planning another visit probably in autumn.
Cons: Apart from the dismal weather we can’t think of anything significant we didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Built in 1570 loved the character friendly staff and a decent meal in the atmospheric bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location clean friendly..atmosphere!! Lovely old building!! Log burners..gave a lovely warm..glow at night..perfect!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely rustic property with excellent amenities.
