10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a very rural part of Turkey - the hotel was EXCEPTIONAL . Well designed, well maintained, everything was PERFECT. Way beyond our expections.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great with a variety of fresh local ingredients. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous furniture style in the breakfast area and availability of fresh fruit tray in lobby.
Cons: I think it’s over rated and not a good value for what you get compared to much better options in the area. Queen rooms are very small and made up of two adjacent small beds which is very uncomfortable. WiFi does not work in upper floors. I was very excited to use the Turkish bath but was bothered by a stinky odor inside. Swimming pool is tiny and not much to brag about. Not a great walking area and lacking good view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff, good sized room, excellent facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is wonderful. The building is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious, tasteful, and comfortable. So quiet and restful. The staff also is terrific. They are so friendly and helpful, really going above and beyond to help us with issues like having to rebook airline flight, getting us to a bus to the airport in Izmir, etc. The breakfast was very good, with freshly cooked eggs and a nice selection at a buffet. There is no doubt that if I am ever again in Selcuk Turkey this is where I will stay.
Cons: All was excellent, no complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is Exquisite. Truely 5 * from the accommodation itself to the customer service to the convenient location to Ephesus. It’s been pure luxury staying there as a guest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decoration is absolutely gorgeous in every detail, sculptures, art collections, chairs, etc. The manager Mustafa was so kind and helpful in everything, and it was a delight to chat with him. The only pity is that we stayed for only one night and didn’t have time in the morning for messages. But we will definitely return here when we come to Turkey again.
Cons: Nothing. I will give a score of 100/10 if I can.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is over my expectations. Wonderful service, great facilities with Turkish bath and sauna. The breakfast is good. The room is decorated lovely and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommend!
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It had everything we expected and more. The staff were very helpful and the owner did not spare anything to make the stay of his guest most worry free and enjoyable. Mr. Ali and everybody else working with him will be very fondly remembered by us for giving the best service during our stay.
Cons: Nothing at all. Everything was beyond our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel. It is in a quite area. The room is big and comfortable. We love the view from our balcony. The hotel decorating is very attractive. The breakfast area is beautiful! and plenty choice of breakfast. They also provide us the fried eggs and very delicious pancake. There is free Turkish bath available on site. Overall, this is the best hotel we lived in Turkey. We went to a local restaurant recommended by them, very nice and only about 8 minutes walk away. We enjoyed the walk back from the restaurant.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were modern and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is walkable to the main area of the town, St. John's Basilica, and the Ephesus Museum. You will need transportation to the actual ancient city of Ephesus site and the House of the Virgin Mary though.
Cons: We were upgraded to a "larger" room, which was about a standard room size. The "regular" room we saw was on the smaller side.

Pros: You well feel at home...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful family-run hotel and oozes with Turkish charm. I was greeted warmly at check-in with coffee and biscuits - even though I came in a bit earlier, the room was available. The room had a gorgeous homely, beautiful woodwork and classic Turkish feel - really gorgeous decor and bathroom sink. Selcuk had a lovely vibe as a place too, wished I had an extra night - the hotel had a great central location. Close walk to the sites and to town/restaurants. The owner Bugran is friendly and kind. Organized airport shuttle for me at good price on short notice - he was so lovely to tell me about Turkey and the agricultural crops on way to Izmir airport. Cute cats a plus!
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room with a good bed. Nice breakfast.
Cons: We happened to be visiting when many of the better guides, including the host, were away in Istabul for a travel agents conference. This was a one-time issue specific to our visit.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best possible care. Such a warm welcome and lovely staff. Would definitely come back.
Cons: The beds weren’t the most comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was cool, I got the balcony double. Breakfast was amazing, fresh from the owner's farm. The highlight, though, is the manager: he's an English teacher and also a licensed tour guide, he helped arranging so many stuff so we can enjoy our trip without any obligatory rug shop visit.
Cons: They only had stairs, so I had to carry my luggage to the third floor. The lights rely on sensors, so I had to lock my room in darkness. The manager's joke is towards the "bullying" side so if you're easily triggered, warn him beforehand.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was nearly the bus station. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious.
Cons: There was a pool but not available for use. If there are outdoor sitting in the garden would be nice.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel, decorated with taste. Excellent welcome, the owners are doing everything to make our stay comfortable, helpful in planning visits. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious as well as the bathroom. There is a lovely garden surrounded by a stonewall where a copious and delicious breakfast is served. The pool is well maintained and water is clear, it is nice to have a swim after a hot day of visiting the ruins of Ephesus. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to nice restaurants, St John Cathedral and the Fortress. My room had a lovely view of the garden, the swimming pool and the Fortress. A place I would surely return to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our group of friends had the most amazing hospitality at this little hotel. The host is personable and his hard working staff keeps the place spotless. The showers were large. Oversized towels and clean linens. A beautiful view of the fortress from some rooms and the patio. Comfortable shared seating areas inside and a beautiful patio and pool for breakfast or evening relaxation. The host shared great information about the local area. I wish we had booked two nights here and skipped the stay in Izmir the night before.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations. Even closer to the little downtown area with lots of little shops and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful, with good tips on getting around. The rooms were modest but very decent and the roof top restaurant has an excellent view of the castle. The small pool and cold beer were the perfect way to relax after walking through Ephesus.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Emray the owner waited for us to check in at 9pm and pre-heated our room so that we were warm and cozy upon check in. Breakfast was good and shower heating was great. Check-out was no hassle as well. We were given an A3 map and Emray showed us what were the must-do things in Selcuk. He was also knowledgeable about the closing timings and ticketing prices so that helped to plan out the day in more detail. St John's Basicila and the old Selcuk Mosque are just around the corner. You can get a great panoramic shot of the town from St John's. Bus station is a 5 minute walk away for those who are travelling to Pamukkale for a day trip. (We tried a few bus companies and the best is Pamukkale, followed by Kamil Koc). Emray also helped us with getting a taxi, and I was absolutely impressed by our driver Tolga (highly recommended). We basically got ourselves a free tour guide as he explained to us Turkey's history and how Selcuk played its part in it. He would also make stops over the hill for us to take pictures.
Cons: No negative feedback. Had a great experience.
9.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy, clean and comfortable. Perfect location, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The room was rather cold (end of December). Air-conditioner was not able to make the room comfortably warm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazon Petite Palace exceeded our expectations in all ways possible. Emre, the owner of the place, gave the best suggestions for our entire trip of Turkey. From taking Havas transport from Izmir to Selchuk, to visit Sirinchei - a hill top village which is worth visiting, to the restaurant suggestions and even shopping suggestions from Kadikoy in Istanbul. Emre was very friendly and helpful. The place itself was very comfortable, the neighborhood had a very rustic vibe and walking through the neighborhood was an experience in itself. Further, it is ideally located, the mini-bus station is at a 5 minute walk from where you can get mini-buses to all the local tourist sites, the Agora restaurant - best in Selchuk, at 3 minute walk, the museum at 2 minute walk, even the Havas bus station was at a 2 minute drive, just talk with Emre, he will arrange transportation for you if you are travelling with luggage. I would suggest every one to stay at Amazon.
Cons: Everything about the place was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very welcoming and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to do while In Selçuk. Great little place to stay when visiting Selçuk to see the ruins etc .

Pros: The stuffs are very nice and help me a lot. The place is near the train station and you can go to tourist spots by walk or bus. But you can borrow a bicycle from the hotel. I hope I’ll go back here at summer time.

The music in the dining room was lovely and the use of local textiles in decoration tasteful. The garden made it feel you were in an oasis.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Laundry service available on-site. Complimentary shuttle to and from Ephesus. Great location to restaurants, stores. Lovely courtyard to enjoy breakfast and relax after day's touring. Staff very helpful and accommodatiing.
7.1 Good
Pros: Has a lovely garden and nice decor with Turkish rugs, ceramic and woodwork. Free shuttle to and from Ephesus was also nice. Quiet residential location but if coming from train station there’s a steep hill near the end. One way to ameliorate this is to walk to Ephesus Archaelogical Museum and from there walk to hotel, which results in a gentler hill.
Cons: Compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Turkey, the hotel seemed over priced for what it offered. Plumbing old so toilet paper had to be thrown in waste bin. Lacked little touches like bottled water. Sheets were old and blanket was too small for bed. We had a room for 3 and it’s fortunate our daughter is only 5’4” as the bed was short and her feet hung over the edge if she slept straight. Her mattress was also hard foam. Breakfast was fine but limited (not buffet style).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We like the special decoration and nice garden, and hospitable staffs, we stayed there for only one night, but we really recommend the house for every one who love the life. Also This Hotel have free shuttle bus service to the Ephesus for the customers, just enjoy it!
Cons: Everything is good, it will be better if there’re some maps or papery information about attractions and transportation to share with our customers

Cons: The bathroom had a strange smell though it was absolutely clean. Room too was very clean.

We stayed 4 happy nights.
Cons: Nothing. ..no complaints.

Pros: The view from terrace and pool area is beautiful (it faces the bascilia). Staff is really helpful and they drive it with a great sense of ownership. There have a very friendly dog also.
Cons: It was almost at the hill top (more like a plateau, which gave it a nice view). So, it was difficult to get our car there. Especially at night and in a new country. Although the staff was really helpful in getting it there.

Pros: Villa Dreams has shuttle service to send us to town. The room is comfortable. I like to chill at the balcony at night and enjoy the view. The view is so beautiful as Villa Dreams is up on a hill.

Pros: The dormitory was nice with warm comfortable beds. The hostel has a perfect location, the bus terminal is just across the road, the museum is just next door, walkable or shortly by bus to Ephesus ruins. There are supermarkets and restaurants options nearby, but the hostel also comes with a nice restaurant with outdoor seating in the courtyard. The breakfast was good. To my surprise the owner speaks Cantonese, and is very friendly and welcoming. She gave recommendations spontaneously upon my arrival.

5.4 Okay
Cons: The smell from the bathroom was bad
7.9 Good
Pros: There was a full Turkish breakfast including had boiled eggs, served on a balcony which overlooks the plain leading to the Artemision and Ephesus. Beautiful views in the morning and at sunset. We were not driving - but it is easy to find on foot from the station or bus station. For anyone driving, it has the advantage of easy parking without having to go into the old quarter as it is on the edge of the town. Selcuk is a pleasant market town and has a spectacular Saturday market. Ephesus is less than 10 minutes on the minibus from the bus station. There are good bars and coffee shops on the same street -Anton Kallinger Caddesi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners and staff are friendly and are happy to help. The roof top terrace has a beautiful view for sunset and is the perfect spot to start your day. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location is great - it’s super close to St. John Church and an older Mosque (no loud prayer calls when we were there, though). This is a great family run guesthouse. We would stay here again!
Cons: The shower did not drain very quickly, so a few inches of water would accumulate. Wifi worked great the first day, but wasn’t working on our second day. Not a huge issue, but our room felt a little worn and dated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great location for the St Johns Church I’d come to see
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is 10 minutes walk from Selcuk train station, helpful staff gives you all the required information. There is a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was decent on a rooftop with a nice view.
Cons: The location is a bit uphill and cobbled street so little inconvenient to walk with bags
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean sheets good staff good location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the best breakfast ( the watermelon, cheese, jam) ever, everything was just yummy. Our room had a really nice balcony and the view was amazing. But overall, the staff in everything. I forgot my new jacket in the hotel and realized about it the next day. They were so nice that helped me and send the jacket to the provided address in Istanbul!!! I totally recommend this place also because it is very well located.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, the stuff were really nice, the rooms were confortable, and the breakfast excelent. Perfect for backpackers who need something cheap, nice and confortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: Surrounding of balcony and house is vintage and charming. The reception girl is helpful, kind but I wish she can communicate in English. Local tours booked by the hotel is good, tourist guide explanation is professional.
Cons: Toilet is far away from the dorm, frequent night urination need the trouble to climb staircase to reach the toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay, really close to everything. You can easily walk to Ephesus and all the other attractions. Nice staff, good breakfast and the room was very comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here!
6.7 Good
Pros: Situated in the "Old Town" close to St. John's Basilica. Quiet neighbourhood, pleasant to walk around. Friendly Host.
Cons: The shower was tiny, no door, so water sprayed all over the floor. Only a hand shower, difficult to shower with only one hand. Breakfast was mediocre, but sufficient.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is not too far from the bus station or train station. The owner is very nice and good hospitality The food is nice
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is near to train station, coach station, amenities, museum, Artemis temple and St. John Basilica.
Cons: The smell of cigarette in the room, possibly not the owner's fault but the previous guess had been smoking in the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Surrounding of balcony and house is vantage and charming. The reception girl is helpful, kind but I wish she can communicate in English. Local tours booked by the hotel is good, tourist guide explanation is professional except they simply change or omit itinerary without earlier notification.
Cons: I join the hotel arranged local tour but they cancel one of the itinerary without informing me earlier (trip to Sirince which may take at least 2 hour)but compensate me a little bit only (with entrance ticket to St John Church). My one day trip should end at 4pm but that day it end at 2pm. 2 hours earlier but compensate only with 18TL for that two hours (which initially include tourist guide, transportation and visit a Greek village which is an hour drive away from Selcuk)
6.0 Good
Pros: Near bus station and a few markets
Cons: Facilities are inaccessible, kitchen areas are off limits for guests. Rooms are very cold. And breakfast is not filling and overpriced
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: We were so tried after our day trip and the room wasn't the same we booked , heater and hot shower didn't worked at all . It was very cold when we asked help at a desk they weren't responsible. So we decided to change hotel in the middle of night ,later the receptionist came up by changing new room and we slept after big fights
