Pros: The hostel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you arrive hours before check-in time, they have a secure place to store your bags while you can roam the city. Very quaint part of Berlin, walking distance to the metro Senefelderplatz which is super convenient. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and the common area is perfect for meeting other travelers. Very easy and safe accommodations!

Pros: A really fun, friendly hostel. I'm a middle-age solo traveller but i was made to feel right at home. Great, safe neighbourhood with an abundance of restaurant options, close to the subway. 7 Euros got a basket of washing cleaned and dried by the hostel which was an added bonus.

Cons: I wish there was an elevator:( But I understand it is a historical building, so you have to climb the stairs yourself. The floor in the room was never moped during my stay

Cons: - Too much of a party vibe for me. Every evening it was very loud and crowded in the common areas. A bit annoying if you wanted something a bit calm. The kitchen could be ok to be in then, if you closed the door. - The beds are very noisy. Every time someone moves in the beds, you will hear it. - Service level among the staff seemed to vary. I didn't really feel seen and when asking questions I overall didn't get any really informative answers. - The rooms (4 persons) was a bit too small for my taste.

Cons: Not much to complain about here -- it really is a great place! The only thing is the lockers to store and lock your luggage is VERY small so beware if you have a semi-large luggage/suitcase. My carry-on Rockland luggage almost didn't fit... I had to struggle to remove it every time I wanted to take out a change of clothes or personal belongings. So if you have luggage, don't go shopping and buy more things because there isn't a lot of space to store it securely (unless you trust your hostel-mates and leave things out in the open. Otherwise, everything was great!!!

Pros: The hotel was in a neighborhood that, at first glance, seemed a little sketchy, but upon closer observation seems filled with young couples and families. The hotel itself was beautiful and seemed very safe. If you are coming in on the train, it takes a bit of figuring to get the right train and or tram combination to get there, but after a day we got the hang of it. The room was spacious and clean. Also had a great breakfast with lots of choices!

Pros: Tasty breakfast and efficient staff. The decor is 80’s wallpaper extravaganza in the rooms and interesting modern art in the public spaces. Be aware that some rooms have an interior view. We switched to a city view after a few days and preferred it. Ask ahead if that is an issue. We very much enjoyed Restaurant Choi nearby - a charming and modern take on Korean cuisine. Book ahead! All the places we tried nearby were great. We realized after our 5 night stay that we had barely set foot in the former West Germany. Don’t miss the Everyday Life in East Germany museum in the neighborhood! The spa is “textile-free” if you (or other guests) want it to be. It’s a very cosy space so be prepared for that possibility.

Besides soy milk, there wasn't much to eat (I'm vegan) and in a city like Berlin where you can find vegan options everywhere, I would have expected something more. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops and beautiful Friedrichshein Folk Park and best streets in Prenzlauer Berg just few blocks away. Helpfull and friendly staff. Clean and personally decorated rooms in Hinterhoff so traffic noises are non existing. Breakfast is very, very good with thoughtfully and personally displayed delicasies like no where else. Cons: The sound drills into your room really easily from neighbours so it was super annoying at night. Even there was a gentle sign warning people to refrain from making noise after 10PM but having thicker walls may help better. There was no fridge and the table was too small so it was inconvenient when you buy snacks or stuffs and find no space to put them.

A very nice continental breakfast - excellent quality eggs, perfect fresh bread and sweet apples - my kids loved them. The kid's corner with toys in the main hall along with the billiard table is the biggest plus for the travellers with little children. We used four-bed room on the 3rd floor - everything suited our big family with three kids. The hotel is conveniently situated in Prenzlauer Berg and easily accessible via U/S-bahn, trams and buses. Plenty of transport and eateries nearby - no one will be left hungry in the late evenings.

Pros: It was very good price for accommodation and breakfast. Many cafes nearby.
Cons: We were unable to use the shower properly as there wasn`t warm water from shower during 4 nights we stayed there.

Pros: We had a quad room, en-suite. quiet, comfortable and clean! Typical German buffet breakfast, need to buy better quality coffee In need of a little TLC. Got the feel of a hostel. Great location. Very satisfied! Would defo stay here again!

Pros: Location is great. It is by a U station and it is only 4 stops from the Alexanderplatz. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast. Simple but substantial food. We stayed in 111 family room. Our room was very spacious and comfy.
Cons: Please note that below points are not criticism but they are just our honest observations. Note that we loved this place and we will definitely recommend it to others. We moved the beds and unfortunately under the beds/corners were full of tiny rubbish (even couple of M&Ms) and a sea of fluff. Thorough cleaning is an area for development. Shower had better days. There were some brown mould marks around the corner. Shower head was sliding down and it seems very loose. Small upgrades for sure will make the bathroom look better.

Pros: Great and polite staff. I was allowed to store my luggage before the check-in and after the check-out. A very nice continental breakfast - excellent quality eggs, perfect fresh bread and sweet apples - my kids loved them. The kid's corner with toys in the main hall along with the billiard table is the biggest plus for the travellers with little children. We used four-bed room on the 3rd floor - everything suited our big family with three kids. The hotel is conveniently situated in Prenzlauer Berg and easily accessible via U/S-bahn, trams and buses. Plenty of transport and eateries nearby - no one will be left hungry in the late evenings.
Cons: Almost nothing. You need to ask for cleaning as it may not happen by default.

Pros: Situated in trendy Prenzlauer Berg about 500 metres from the nearest U Bahn station, this is a comfortable and well appointed hotel and good value for money. Super clean, light and airy rooms and comfy beds. Special mention to the staff for their friendliness and thoughtfulness. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
Cons: The wifi could be a bit slow at times, but this is a minor issue.
