6.3 Good
Pros: The Villa itself and the garden + pool were really beautiful and nicely maintained. The location is about half an hour's walk from Sorrento center and the pedestrian road can be very narrow.
Cons: We were given a garden room near the gardener's shack, meaning it was slightly noisy in the morning - which wasn't a big issue for us. However, the biggest problem were the ants in our room, which gradually became more during our stay, especially in the bathroom. On the last night, we couldn't sleep since they were also over the bed. We didn't report it as it was in the middle of the night and we thought it wouldn't make sense to move rooms one night before check-out. Please note that we didn't bring any food to the room, which was an explanatory comment from our receptionist when we commented on the problem. That left us a bit speechless since it is a known problem given his further reaction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful villa!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location great in a leafy street, private access, close to good restaurants, helpful staff (front desk staffed 24/7), excellent room, v.g. breakfast, the whole property beautifully presented; day-tour pickups were all only 20 metres from front gate; property just 20 min walk to the centre of Sorrento - but importantly, is away from the masses of tour groups that descend on Sorrento. P.S., it really is just like the photos on their website.
Cons: It was all good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great, the location was nice and peaceful, and the beds were really comfy. Kind and helpful staff. Great value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooms with nice extras such as slippers. Wonderful breakfast selection. General ambience at the hotel was wonderful.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of all the staff, their helpfulness and local knowledge, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms.. the breakfast and the pool, everything was home from home.. we will return .
Cons: We had to come home !
7.9 Good
Pros: I loved the character, a very calming and relaxing environment. It felt very elegant when you walked up to the entrance from the gates.
Cons: I would have liked a bigger balcony to sit on and the breakfast wasn’t great. It was a buffet which wasn’t always stocked, certain foods ran out quickly and it was pretty basic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love it, Love it, LOVE IT. Seriously, from the impressive entrance gates you enter paradise. Staff super friendly and helpful, great morning coffee and breakfast, room very comfortable and outside facilities including large pool are like a paradise in the tourist mad world outside the gates. Easy to park car inside the locked gates so safe and secure and short stroll to perfect viewing area of the bay and several restaurants close by. Sorrento is a 15 minute walk away. One of those places you remember and want to go back to!!
Cons: restock the room coffee as we were there for 4 nights
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villa and very friendly staff
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was excellent. The Villa staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. The accommodation as a whole was beautiful and set in it's own grounds and was very tranquil for a restful week. We would highly recommend Villa Savarese and would stay again if we visit area subsequently.
Cons: There was nothing not to like! It was the last week of the season so was quiet but we knew that when we booked.

Cons: No available free iron for ironing clothes and coffees were quite expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a superb stay at this hotel. The location is perfect on a cliff overlooking the sea, with amazing views from the small cosy restaurant and the breakfast room inside the hotel. The level of service was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the room, the food and the view were just outstanding. Every aspect of the villa garden is directed to making its guest feel like family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. For example, we chose what excursions we wanted to go on during our stay from the comprehensive list provided by the front desk (Paola/Stefania), they took our information & booked all the tours on the days we wanted, even printing out tickets and the receipt for our records. This was over and above my expectations as I am used to organising everything myself. Thank you. Also, the majority of tours were picked up 2 mins walk from the hotel - perfect!
Cons: We didn't dislike anything worth mentioning. Due to the time of the year, the swimming pool was pretty cold, but the inclusion of the outdoor shower was much appreciated to help get ourselves down to a similar temperature! Once in, it was very relaxing & we enjoyed drying off on the sun loungers afterwards!
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was lovely. The restaurant has a lovely view. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way, you’ll like it. We wish we stayed closer to the Sorrento center
Cons: Room was a little funky, and location was out of the way

Pros: Superb food and location
Cons: Water spill from bath tub
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we walked through the door, we knew that this historic building was going to be an amazing experience. The quality & craftsmanship that went into each room Restoration, was the best of the best ! The staff was beyond exceptional, and tended to our every need.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great !!!! Great !!!!
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast room and Roof top bar have amazing views of Vesuvius and Bay of Naples.
Cons: Should make this adults only hotel. Two families with children virtually took over the pool area, killing the relaxing vibe. Shower was very small in bathroom, not a very big deal, just didn't live up to the rest of the hotel level. Roof Top bar is only open Tuesday and Saturday, which seems like a waste of such a great resource.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It felt like we had the best view to see all of Sorento. Would love to come back again
Cons: Our stay was too short!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel was terrific. Just outside the bustle of sorrento but a short free shuttle bus away. The staff was amazing and willing to help in any way. They are very helpful in helping plan your day trips. The rooms were spotless and food was good. The pool and gardens was the perfect place to relax and never too crowded ( at least in May to early June). The staff at the bar Danielle (nobody), AmerisourceBergen an Salvatore were excellent and really made you feel special. Piña at the front desk was great too. Hope to go back again some day.
Cons: The bathrooms were a we bit small. I was disappointed that rooftop bar didn't open till 7th. But they let me up to see what it was like and it was breathtakingp
7.1 Good
Pros: Location great, sky bar the best, breakfast restaurant great view.
Cons: The room on the corner of the street was noisy because of the cars, aslo the room stewardess in the morning makes a lot of noise.

Pros: The view, staff, patio, food and assistance with our car and reservations were all outstanding.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a nice quiet town away from all the touristy places in the area. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough. The hosts were very warm and helpful. They helped us fine tune our itinerary so to avoid crowds and so on. If one is using the public transport for travelling during peak hours in the area, then it's better to start early from this place as this is a small town and the buses dont stop for pick-ups if the bus is full.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, it had comfortable bed and a pretty bathroom. Great location, 30 min or less from the sea and great restaurants nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the sea view from my window. The room was always cleaned and the service so helping and nice, always trying to their best to make my stay even better and respond all my needs.
Cons: there was nothing that I didn't like about staying in Tulipano.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to visit the Amalfi coast and you’re on a budget this is definitely the best choice for you, don’t be fooled by the pictures of B&B that are not the most appealing, this is a hidden gem situated in the middle of the Amalfi Coast: 20 min from Sorrento, 20 from Positano and 40 from Amalfi. If you rented a car you can park just outside the property using the machines (it’s cheap and it’s not 24/7 as other towns in Amalfi Coast). If you don’t have a car, there’s no problem since the bus stop it’s also outside the B&B. The property is a small house that gives you the Italian experience you’re looking for and its host, Antonella, is the most welcoming and warm person that will make you feel just like home from minute 1, she even personally gives you breakfast every morning and good travel recommendations! If it’s available, book it. It’s worth it.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice person at check in and quiet place
Cons: Wifi did not work for none of us. Very limited breakast ( biscuits and cracker ) The owner or one of his employee left the keys on the door all night long which made me feel not secure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was easily accessible off the bus line. The staff/hosts were an absolute dream, offering suggestions and helping out when we were a little lost with bus/taxi schedules. It was cleaned thoroughly daily and breakfast in the morning was flexible. Great location between Sorrento and Positano! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super helpful and friendly host. Clean and nice room. Wonderful breakfast. Easy to park outside the B&B in the main road.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Il Tulipano bed and breakfast. First of all, Colli de Fontanelle is a cute small village well located because it’s between Sorrento and Positano. If you depend on the public bus (as we did!) it’s a quick 30 minutes ride to Sorrento and 20 minutes ride to Positano - and the best part: the bus stop is just a few steps distance from Il Tulipano. Besides, the village has lots of delicious restaurants, a market with everything you need and a cute square with nice view of the ocean and the Amalfi coast hill. Now talking about the B&B, we felt really welcomed there, the lady that runs the place, Antonella, along with her family, are very nice and kind. If you want to really feel emerged in the italian life and culture, don’t stay at the touristic places as Positano and Sorrento, stay in Colli de Fontanelle, and specially at Il Tulipano, because you’ll see that only italians live there, the B&B feel like a italian’s family house. We were welcomed with a delicious Fico directly from the family garden and the real local lemon - so those experiences are priceless. Il Tulipano is very cosy and clean, the bedroom is spacious and has everything you need, with a private bathroom. You have at your disposal also a kitchen and the breakfast is included and delicious - delicious breads and the best capuccino. I really recommend!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed Kelly and her husband very much. They were both helpful to us. The breakfast which was all home made by Kelly was lovely. Homemade yogurt and grape sauce, cake, fruit bowl etc. Kelly picked us up at the train station when we arrived and offered to drive us to the station when we left. Just remember that the bus to the area of the property stops around 7:30. We would love to go back and spend more time there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Kelly and her husband couldn’t of been more welcoming. They picked us up on our arrival day and dropped us off at Sorrento on our departure day as we didn’t hire a car. The breakfasts were amazing all home made delights. The quiet location is a real treat and the views from our apartment were stunning.
Cons: The buses to the Amalfi Coast had started in Sorrento, we waited for five and each time they were full by the time they got to the village.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Simple but spacious room, breathtaking views of mount Vesuvius and the gulf of Naples, amazing breakfast with fruits and homemade cakes made this stay memorable. Our host Kelly was super helpful and picked us up when we were stranded in Sorrento having missed the last bus.
Cons: Not easy to reach when using public transport. More a note to self than criticism: Next time better get a car when traveling around Naples!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean place with beautifull garden. The hosts are the most polite and kind people , helped us with everything we need
7.5 Good
Pros: It’s very quiet and beautiful up in Colli di Fontanelle away from the tourist crowds in Sorrento etc. Kelly and Pepino were fabulous hosts!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful nature farm house in Sorrento. You will over look the Vesuvio mountain, surrounded by Lemon tree, picking also allowed. The night stars, noon and the magical fire flies,my Kids loves followed!! Also lovely kittens and kind dog on the garden. In the morning, you will have nice breakfast with good coffee and freash orange juice. Host Kelly and Pepino were so nice and always smile with warm heart, they helps a lot for moving our luggage to the house. So kind! Love to come back Sorrento and definitely stay again. Thanks Kelly!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stunning view over the golf of Sorrento. The great hospitality of the owners. The warning that only small cars should attempt to drive to the accomodation should be taken seriously! And even than don't try it without an insurance that covers the excess.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view was beautiful and you get the true Italian experience in the small town. Kelly and Peppino were two of the nicest people we’ve ever met in our life. The whole experience was something we won’t forget
Cons: It’s a little far from the amalfi coast and Sorrento but Kelly and Peppino offered to drive us everywhere. They are the best!!!!
7.1 Good
Pros: The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly. The place is quite authentic, you can see the old press for producing olive oil. You have very nice views of the valley and the sea. Rooms are comfortable. Great option to relax away from the crowds and the noise.
Cons: There's a very steep way to the place, quite hard to get there with a car.

Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The cleanliness.
Cons: The location of the hotel is not near anything, just on a road. It’s a 35 minute walk into sorrento square or 30 euros in a cab. The hotel & facilities are dated and it just doesn’t have much too it at all unfortunately. Our friends & family who stayed in sorrento had stunning hotels on the sea in which they paid the same as us for 1 week including half board. Our stay was 4 nights and just breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. Less than a five minute walk to railway station. One stop gets you into Sorrento centre and you can also get a train to Pompeii and naples. 1.30 euros to Centre and just under 4 euros to get to Naples and it takes about 1 hour. The breakfast is also very good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were helpful! Room was clean.
Cons: Too far from centre to walk and the pool was dirty and very cold
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect--quiet, pretty neighbourhood only steps away from the bus to downtown Sorrento and just a couple of blocks to catch the train to Pompeii and Naples. The meals we had at the hotel were excellent. Plentiful and lots of variety. Coffee was excellent! Salvatore and his team are terrific!
Cons: Parking is an issue. The underground parking is expensive--$15 Euro per night. Parking on the street is much cheaper--a week for 15 Euro. The only problem is that we arrived at the hotel, very tired and hungry and then we had to deal with the parking issue, which took a lot of time, due to the fact that we had to find 15 Euro in coins--only 1 and 2 Euro coins were allowed. The hotel would only give us 5 Euro in coin, so we needed to find a place off site to give us 10 Euros. It was a lot of back and forth as the parking meter would not accept 50 Euro cent coins (which we learned), so back to the shop to change the coins...When we put the money in, we followed the directions but only got 2 days of parking-what? The problem was that you had to push a button for the weekly rate and there was no direction in the original directions to do that. Yikes! My advice to other travellers: bring 15 Euros in coin (only 1 and 2 Euro coins). Do not follow the original directions, but find the button that will give you a weekly rate. Maybe have the bell boy at the hotel help you, it will save you a lot of frustration. My advice to the hotel: give your guests the full 15 Euros and put it on their bill as a great service to your customer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel with excellent service. It averaged out to what we were expecting. A little further from Sorrento than what we wanted but comfort and staff were exceptional. The decadence of a time gone by is still evident but it's start to fray a little in the corners. Plus those tiles are delightful.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.

Pros: we had a great welcome. Marko was a good host and explain everything to us. the location was good. 20mins walk from sorrento and the train is 5mins walk. Marko and Ciro was very helpful, always smiling and good customer service.
Cons: i think the hotel needs a bit of renovation especially the shower door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On arrival we were given a fantastic welcome. (We were given a map and shown how to get to town, the harbour etc.). In fact we were made to feel extremely welcome every time we went down for breakfast or returned to the hotel after a day out. Our family room was very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The location was in a quiet residential area away from the bustle of the centre of Sorrento - but it was only 20mins walk to get to the centre of town.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the train station and loved that the staff made me feel as if I was part of the family.
Cons: Could use new doors for the shower

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Marco and Gino are the most amazing hosts- they are so friendly and helpful which makes the experience fantastic. This was our second time staying and we will return again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Marco and Ciro treated us like family. Always greeted us with a smile, good morning and by name. Definitely will return. In a residential area so you get the whole Italian experience. In walking distance of amenities. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as cobblestone road and sidewalk.
Cons: There's really nothing I didnt like, except the showers are small at most of the hotels.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: They had a free breakfast. There had big lockers by each bed, with a power plug and light.
Cons: The hostel was not very social and had more of a hotel vibe so not the easiest to meet other people. The bathrooms could have been cleaned more regularly and the stuff filed up (many of the soap dispenser didn't have any soap and none of the toilet cublicals had toilet paper when I arrived however later some was left of the counter but had to take it and actually put in it the cubical). The location was a bit far out of Sorrento a good half an hour walk in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was my best days in Sorrento thanks to this beautiful hostel. Amazing staff, nice breakfasts, interesting people, and of course-best views from the terrace. Excellent
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hostel is very well maintained by great staff. We spent 8 nights there off season and can only imagine sunbathing on rooftop terraces during the summer with such spectacular views! WiFi was reliable and fast.
Cons: Hostel is located next to the church, everyday at 7 in the morning you will be awaken by its bells :) More varied breakfast would be appreciated if you are staying longer, but considering value for money it's fine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, will go out of their way to ensure your stay is good. Location is a great base, not too far from Sorrento town centre (just 25min walk or one train stop). Clean, breakfast provided and big rooms making for a great stay :)
Cons: Not much not to like about the hostel, would have been nice to sit on the rooftop with a drink but no food or drink allowed up there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: this hostel is awsome. The room is big and very clean. The facilities are good and the breakfast are nice.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ladies at the reception were amazing and helpful with good English, the location was great, it was easy to park around. We got room "heaven" and it was with an amazing view and huge terrace. Everything was great, so we extended our stay there.
7.5 Good
Pros: The terrace is amazing and the whole building is pretty new, so in summer time there must be a very good vibe.
Cons: As a Hostel, having a kitchen can result very useful for travellers as most of they try to save some money, in this case the hostel did not have one and they had a service of restaurant instead which is great, but makes it feel more like a hotel rather than a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, really good place with an amazing roof top terrace !
5.0 Okay
Pros: I was alone in the shared room.
Cons: The breakfast were poor and the coffee was cold. I received a thin sheet to cover me in the winter and no heating in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This palatial hostel is great for access to Amalfi and beaches. It felt rather enormous in October, the shoulder/off season, and would probably be very fun when full in the summer.

5.4 Okay
Pros: 360 Degree view from roof top.
Cons: It took too long to be shown to our room after a long drive. Traffic noise was horrendous from our room and no aircon meant we had to keep door open a little for air.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden terrace and lovely sun terrace with views over the Bay of Naples & Vesuvius.
Cons: The hotel was on a busy road that was without pavements. It was the only drawback to the position.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful the nuns were wonderful, the views were great and the garden lovely, location was good and rooms spacious and fully functional but no fridge, but this lack seems to be everywhere in Italy. Beds comfortable and good hot water and Wi-Fi. I would highly recommend a stay here as something unique and wonderful.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic and wanting, coffee was terrible.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Small uncomfortable beds. Small room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place to stay! It was good decision to stay in Sant'Angello not in crouded Sorrento. From Sant'Angello to Sorrento is 25min walk or one train station (2min). We had great time there, the view from our room was amazing! We will not have that view even in 5 stars hotel. Sisters are very friendly and helpfull, one of them is english speaking so there is no problem with communication. Breakfast was very good, big choice of products. There is a roof terrace with stunning view. We had a big, cosy room with wooden furniture and nice floor made by painted tiles. Bathroom was also big with window. We hope to be back there! :)
7.1 Good
Pros: All the guests are allowed to enter the terrace with a view on the third floor – highly recommending coming there in the evening to observe the sunset. Breakfast was fine but again it was nothing special (cream cheese, jam, Nutella) however coffee was good.
Cons: The windows in our room looked out on the street that was extremely busy during the night (past 11 pm). As there is no air conditioning in the rooms we had to keep the windows opened and it was nearly impossible to fall asleep with all cars and scooters driving through. Also the road to San Vincenzo is quite dangerous – narrow and with no pavement for pedestrians. One more thing concerning breakfast – it is served from 8 to 9 am but I recommend coming at 8 because whenever something finishes, there will not be seconds.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast included. The gardens with the views to the marina
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely amazing!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The sea views and the garden terrace were great, as well as the Nuns. It was also in a great location for The Capri ferry.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The establishment is run by Nuns. One speaks excellent English. It's purposefully kept as quiet and peaceful. The establishment is very well maintained and quite classical with marble floors and staircases. Breakfast is served punctual at 08h00 with S variety to choose from. I recommend the establishment heartily to anyone.
Cons: Nothing really. However, if you are like me who has to be collected by taxi then be aware that a taxi can't stop at the front door as the road is very narrow. It's Sorrento, where most roads are very narrow. I suppose that fact is applicable to most of Italy.

4.6 Okay
Pros: We had to go to a bar down the road for breakfest, witch was very poor food and service.
Cons: We were told that reakfest would be served at fthe b/b ,after paying good money for the room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Vienna as a host is super friendly and helpful! - She shares many insights and has all the information you need for this region! The rooms are nice and comfortable and have a nice view over a lemon-field. Vienna cared for the parking of our cars, which was great!
Cons: The entrance to the general building is a little bit underwhelming. - While there are some nice spots around you definitely need a car or the bis to go to Sorrento or to the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vienna was extremely helpful and was able to organize a lovely trip to Capri for us. A lovely family and we would come back if around Sorrento again in the future. Special thank you to Stefano.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Vienna was a lovely host, she advised on transport and the local area and organized a trip for me. Very friendly and helpful. Kept in touch by WhatsApp all the time. Room was very comfortable and clean, up on the 4th floor of the apartment block. It had a lift and a balcony. The St Agnello area is lovely and just one stop down the tracks on the train which is quite near the property. Sorrento main area a 20/25 minute walk.
Cons: The Breakfast was at a café along the street about 6/7 mins walk along the main road at ‘Bar Mamas’ The man who served us was quite rude, he said ‘just sweet things, nothing else’ I asked for 2 croissants and he said 2 is extra charge, only 1 is allowed. We had lukewarm coffee and 1 croissant. Not a good breakfast! We didn’t eat there on our second and third day.
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean and spacious room, view was good. Close to a train station.
Cons: According to booking.com we were supposed to get breakfast in the room. "Food & drink - Breakfast in the room." No breakfast included. The description also refers to a family-run bed and breakfast. 2% credit card charge not mensioned on booking.com - it says "No booking or credit card fees." A long walk into Sorrento along a busy road & narrow pavement. Host wouldn't let us leave our luggage for a morning instead recommended an insecure cafe in the corner to leave our luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Beautiful view from the window. Friendly and very helpfull owner. Gived us many tips about the city and Sorento Coast. Very clean room. Good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is incredibly helpful. Nothing too much trouble. If I revisit Sorrento I will definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a great vibe of the room, clean, lots of light, authentic with a great balcony view of the ocean and mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful and tipped us on may nice places to go. The location is perfect, walkable to Sorrento and also shop/restaurants nearby. Would def. stay again!
Cons: non applicable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved Casa Vienna! This adorable bed and breakfast is set in a perfect little niche just outside of Sorrento. If you're looking to get away from the touristy area, and into the more affordable price range this is your place. It's just a short walk to the public and private beaches. Our favorite parts were the balcony overlooking the lemon trees and our gorgeous view of Mt. Vesuvius, not to mention Vienna's hospitality! She was so warm and friendly :D... would definitely stay again!!

Pros: The staff was great, the rooms were nice & our wish to have the rooms together was granted. The breakfast buffet was very good. Many thanks!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very pleasant small hotel . Extremely clean and cared for . Garden and pool area small but lovely. All staff were terrific and went out of their way to assist. The shuttle service was most welcoming . I would recommend this hotel . We stayed for 3 nights with a small baby . We were leaving were looked after very well .
Cons: Nothing at all
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool the rooftop terrace and it was in a good location the shuttle service was great
Cons: I didn’t like that there was few parking spots at the hotel Some of the staff were helpful
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: Small and crowded room. No noise isolation at all, so much so that one can hear the drawers being shut in the adjacent rooms, alarms, and even the guests in the lobby. No toiletries apart from shampoo. Water temperature unsteady. Mediocre breakfast in a dark basement, and no staff to greet you. Lobby toilet dirty. The swimming pool is nothing more than a large tub, no umbrellas to shade you from the scorching sun. The shuttle to town is infrequent and none on Sunday. Pictures do not reflect the reality. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. We regret staying there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: All staff were extremely friendly! On the morning we were due to leave, our rental car would not start. A male member of staff (did not catch his name) could not help us enough and rang a mechanic to start the car. They also provide a free shuttle service into the main square of Sorento which was very helpful as it was about a 15 minute walk on a busy road otherwise. They also have a restaurant on the main strip in Sorento which I would highly recommend. Lovely setting!!
Cons: Just a little out of the centre however the shuttle bus makes up for that!
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was very nice and staff friendly. It's a family, quiet hotel and you can feel the atmosphere as soon as you arrive. They have a free car park where you can leave your car without any inconvenience. They offer a transfer service to the city center of Sorrento several times a day. Anyway the hotel is 15 minutes from the city center and all the area is full of houses, bars and hotels so although it seems to be far away it isn't at all, you can enjoy your walk. Their breakfast is the best part since there's a variety of bread, fruit, coffee, juice. Great atmosphere and service in breakfast. Without doubt we would come back.
Cons: The room was on the ground floor so it was a bit more noisy. We suppose that in upper floors they should be better, However the area is very calm, quiet and the windows thick, so you can sleep, relax at night and there aren't cars passing around since the hotel is within a quiet street and a very quiet area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything! :) The staff was amazing; friendly, respectful and professional. You can really relax here; pool and garden, view from the roof top (made me very happy), and you can order drinks anywhere you want (recommend the roof top! :). My room and bed were really comfortable and the cleaning ladies did truly amazing work - the room was spotless. This hotel has trasportation to and from Sorrento center several times a day (great service and extremely helpful). The area is quiet and more authentic than Sorrento centre, there is a corgeous vantage point and beach area (fee) nearby. Highly recommended for a nice and relaxing stay!

6.7 Good
Pros: The pool was great, with plenty of space around it. Inside the staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The music on the rooftop bar was far too loud. You can hear it from down the street, so sleeping under it is virtually impossible and it is open until midnight. Hopefully if you have a room on a lower floor it maybe quieter. Eventhough the view from the forth floor is lovely, if you want to sleep before midnight don't stay on it. Also on from an environmental perspective. I didn't like the cups that were provided in the room. Plastic, wrapped in plastic. I must say it is the first hotel I have stayed in that does this and with plastic been such an issue at the moment there are alternatives they could be using.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great view of Vesuvius from rooftop bar.
Cons: Poor attention from Staff. No information regarding Hotel facilities (was unable to view menu for Michelin star restaurant after several requests)or nearby attractions. Parking was poorly organised and directions lost in translation!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was v good
Cons: Menu by pool side was not flexible for vegetarian
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice little hotel just outside of Sorrento, good location with proximity to railway station, bars and able to walk into Sorrento. Great rooftop bar. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Hotel has its own Michelin star restaurant which is worth a visit if you want a higher end restaurant experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked that there was gluten free food & that the hot food was always very hot, fresh & to a high standard.
Cons: I’d of liked to see some fresh gluten free baked items. Also the coffee machine did not live up to the standard of the hotel, it should be fresh coffee as standard.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was okay. There was plenty of choice and it was regularly being replenished with fresh food. Our room on the top floor was very nice. We particularly liked the terrace. The staff were all very friendly. We most enjoyed the Dry Martini terrace bar. The hotel were very sweet and gave us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon.
Cons: Being on the top floor with the Dry Martini terrace bar did mean that it was quite noisy at times. Especially on the Friday evening before we left with the live music when the bar was open until later than usual. We had emailed the hotel before our stay to request a transfer from the airport to the hotel and the email we received confirmed the booking and said that the transfer was payable at the hotel. We also arranged a return transfer for the end of our trip. When we checked out we were told we had to pay €180 for the two transfers in cash separately to our hotel bill. However we were not aware of this and had no cash on us, plus our taxi was due to arrive in 5 minutes.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Views from our room were lovely, beds comfortable, air conditioned, fresh towels and room cleaned daily.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms, had to pay €4 for a tea or coffee at the bar. Ants in bathroom daily. Shower sprays over and floods floor, insufficient screen. No hooks in bathroom for towels. Hotel is overpriced for it's standard. Restaurant and drinks prices extortionate! Ate and drank elsewhere, far better value. €10 for 1 Campari & Soda! Hotel weren't helpful booking us a cab to Naples airport. We asked reception to book us a taxi for our journey to the airport. Reception staff told us it would cost €120. A metred taxi arrived, told us it would be £200 to the airport! That the hotel usually use a taxi company they have an agreement with using set un-metred price. Turned out reception booked just an ordinary taxi - no fixed price! Mislead us! Was too late to arrange a cheaper option of transfer....felt ripped off, €200 for a taxi to Naples airport! Reception staff should have been more helpful. Not as impressed as hoped to be.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, food was delicious. We dined at Don Geppi which is their Michelin star restaurant, the entire experience was amazing, from the staff to the food, it was just beautiful. The rooftop bar had the most beautiful views and the drinks were outstanding.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and the hotel was lovely. Great restaurant and food. Spacious and clean bedrooms.
Cons: Room was a little funky, and location was out of the way
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb food and location
Cons: Water spill from bath tub
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we walked through the door, we knew that this historic building was going to be an amazing experience. The quality & craftsmanship that went into each room Restoration, was the best of the best ! The staff was beyond exceptional, and tended to our every need.

6.3 Good
Pros: The Villa itself and the garden + pool were really beautiful and nicely maintained.
