10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great! The property was very clean and well taken care of. The owners are amazing and made you feel at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful owner, perfect location (central yet quiet), comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hostal was everything I like about small family-run establishments. Muchas gracias!
Cons: There’s nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostal is in an old historical building, so the bedroom still maintains the old traditional historical magnificent features. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Each room has its own toilet and they are very clean. The street is very lively during the day, but very quiet at night, so I slept perfectly and the location is ideal.
Cons: The place has no room to offer breakfast, but there is a lovely coffee shop 1minute walk from there. There is no 24hrs reception, but the host gets in touch to organise check in and check out and is available for any need.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean central very helpful owner indeed . Independent - the personal touch. Highly recommended. Run by a couple from toledo who know the city well. Quiet rooms are indeed quiet.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Toledo, wonderful room with balcony. The owners are very friendly, helpful and ful of tips for dinner, breakfast, what to do ... They made us feel very welcome. I forgot my mobile phone in the taxi. I called Miguel (host) for help. And 5 minutes later the taxi driver came to the trainstation with my mobile phone. You definitely made my day
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had two rooms at La Posada de Zocodover for two nights. From the time we arrived until the morning we left, Miguel and his wife treated us like family. Every review I had read was correct. Their warmth and helpfulness turned this little hostel into a 5 star experience. The rooms are small but thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Although they do not serve breakfast they sent us a few doors away to La Pepa which was great, and Starbucks is right around the corner. The location was perfect. The first thing Miguel did when we checked in was to give us a map where he circled everything we should see and gave us restaurant suggestions. All were excellent.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and his wife warmly welcomed us in their hostal in the middle of beautiful historical Toledo. Miguel gave us map and showed us all places where to go/not to go and when. He recommended us café and restaurant, where he and locals go, food was delicious. Thanks to him we knew, where we wanna go, saved us time and money. Our room was perfect, super nice, super clean and quite. There was a small bow with candies, sorry Miguel we ate all chocolate. Our stay in Toledo was awesome, big part of it was thanks to our stay in this hostal. We are very much looking forward to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is centrally located in old Toledo in a really cool building. You are a short walk to so many historic places to visit. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. I slept so well here. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and helpful. They even contacted me before I arrived with ideas in how best to get there from the train station. It was really nice. Miguel Angel and Gemma (the owners) clearly take pride in making this place welcoming.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and Gema are so welcoming and generous with their time and local information - all Miguel’s recommendations for sights and restaurants were great. It’s position right in the heart of old Toledo could not have been better - everything was within an easy, lovely walk. Whilst small, the perfectly quiet room was beautiful and traditionally furnished with a gorgeous enclosed balcony and a lovely outlook onto the cathedral and street below - perfect for people watching! Excellent, reliable WiFi and air conditioning. Room daily cleaned and stocked with toiletries, bottles of water and delicious little chocolates. A perfect home from home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Miguel, was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our trip. He always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We also loved the location of the hostal.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Riad Medina Mudejar in Toledo (Toledo City Center), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Synagogue of Saint Mary the White and San Juan de los Reyes Monastery. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing facilities. The use of the Arab baths as a guest is a real bonus The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was really nice! I walked from the bus terminal to the place and it was a good walk to look around the city. The location of the hotel was really nice! The bath is something you should definitely do, and I enjoyed the tea and biscuits a lot. The room was nice, cozy, and warm! The bed was comfortable and I slept so well :D The staffs were nice and kind, and I was able to talk to them in English. So it is also good for those who cannot speak Spanish like me! I genuinely enjoyed my stay, and I am already recommending this place to my friends!
Cons: Everything was perfect except the fact that I wasn't good at handling the keys
6.0 Good
Pros: Our room was large and comfortable/the couple who travelled with us got a tiny, dark room with a small bathroom --at essentially the same price. This doesn't make sense. Arrival was confusing as we couldn't get into our room initially, then when we returned later the person at the front desk didn't seem to understand that we'd already checked in with her colleague. (Language problems.) They seem to be more oriented towards their Hammam (spa) clientele than they do towards their overnight guests.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was friendly when approached. The shower was nice.
Cons: There were absolutely no accommodations on check in, not even a chair for my exhausted 84 yr old mother to sit on, just a hard wooden bench. There was no early check in option so we had to wait 4 hours for our room and we were jet lagged and miserable. The gentleman at the desk did nothing to help. The rug in our room was covered with wads of black hair and there was hair all over the small couch. We could not find a blanket for the bed so the staff pulled one out from under the mattress that was lying on the floor. They only cleaned the room once in the 3 days/nights we stayed. Refrigerator was very noisy all night and the blinds wouldn’t close. Biggest problem is they were totally understaffed in the evening and then everyone left at 8pm. I have never heard of a hotel with no staff all night long. Tried calling the service number provided but never got an answer.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The friendly staff and Turkish baths
Cons: Room was cramped and airless with small windows onto a narrow shaft. Air conditioning couldn’t cope. Rigs were not clean. Terrible pillows!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast very minimal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I ask about accessibility: I was having knee problems. It was good to know that I could have an accommodation most accessible. My knee behaved well on the trip - I was able to climb the steps to a first floor room easily, enjoy that balcony and enjoy the breakfast room photos and food. It worked out well, i did appreciate the pre-trip communication.
Cons: My room was a bit too hot, but it was possible to open the window. Not a big deal, but it would have been even nicer cooler I did have a 'heads up' that it would be warm in there. Older dwellings aren't uniform.: part of their charm but not always convenient It was worth any inconvenience!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, wonderful heritage features, very pleasant staff, very clean, terrific breakfast, good value!
Cons: A couple of minor maintenance issues
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and the view from my room right on the cathedral. The room was fitted with old artefacts and modern amenities (with the air conditioning nicely hidden from the view to not disrupt the ambiance). The food was lovely as was the service and all the staff. They have an amazing view from the rooftop, do not miss it. The only unfortunate thing that happened was that I booked the place for two nights but as I was informed there was a system error and the place was overbooked for one of the nights so I could stay for one night only. The staff was very apologetic about it and found me a room in a hotel round the corner. Perhaps thats one thing that could be looked into as it seems like a very easy fix. Otherwise the stay was perfect 10/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this place! Such nice and welcoming people, room with an amazing view, bed so comfortable I'm melting just remembering it, and unbeatable location literally a handful of steps away from the Toledo Cathedral. Don't miss it!

Pros: The position of the hotel could not be better. It is a lovely little hotel with a sense of history. The beds are very comfortable and the staff extremely helpful.
Cons: It takes a bit of practice to balance the hot and cold taps in the shower to achieve the correct temperature! A very minor matter!

Cons: I was staying here in autumn and it was a bit cold in the room despite air conditioning.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great. Middle of everything. The staff was great and very helpful, though nobody spoke english. Was a little hard, but not an issue.
Cons: Issue was that there was no cup in the bathroom, so i had to use my hands to rinse while teeth brushing. Also, the bed was not comportable, but it maybe a matter of taste. Walls are thin, You can hear noises. Was not a problem, since there was not many people. But if the place was packed with tourists, it may be a problem

Pros: centrally located, very clean, staff is very polite. definitely recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so convenient place to short walk distance to major sites. If you drive a car, ask a hotel in advance which parking place to park the car. Hotel provided me a discount ticket for that particular parking. Stuff was so friendly. View from the top of the hotel was so nice. I will recommend to go to the roof to take a look.
Cons: It was a Christmas eve, so I have heard a lot of talking on the street, however, I feel that this is a special occasion only. Other than that, I don't have any complain.

Pros: Great location in the quiet side of old city centre of Toledo. It's surrounded by old monasteries and local neighbourhood. Also, it's only few hundred meters to Santa Iglesia Catedral, markets and most of the tourist attractions.
Cons: We were traveling with a medium sized SUV and it was a bit difficult to go through the narrow streets in the old town, only few cm from the side walls. You need to expect that if you want to park your car at their cheap on-site parking.

This hotel features 2949 square feet (274 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular views Great food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The terrace is wonderful, great view in the day and night. Free parking. Vintage hotel but cozy. Good food but not too expensive (we kinda have to have dinner in their restaurant, because this is no other choice nearby).
9.0 Excellent
Cons: It would have been nice to have a pedastrian sidewalk to city center.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel might not be convenient if you'd like to walk around old streets of Toledo, but its location is rather unique and for a reason. The view from the patio of the hotel is stunning! you can have a bird-view of the whole Toledo. The view is no where else to be found and definitely renders the hotel worth staying. The building of the hotel is also filled with history and stories, old but the inside of the building has been renovated anew to become the hotel. You definitely want to include the breakfast in your booking as not just because you might find it difficult to find somewhere else for breakfast (given the unique location of the hotel) but the breakfast is excellent. Plenty of choices including local delicacies and more common cuisine. Strongly recommend.
Cons: Getting to/from the hotel might be a little tricky if you're not driving yourself. From/to the train station, it takes about EUR 8 for a taxi ride. Public transportation is also available (No. 71 bus) but not that frequent.
7.7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall
Cons: Some staffs were very very rude. Which ruined our stay overall. The person working at the reception was rude and also at the breakfast cafeteria.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best service, the best view, the best breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location! The Mirador del Valle (the viewpoint of the valley) is a little better for photography - however the view from the Parador terrace is around 80 to 90% of that view. The view from the Mirador del Valle is better because while the Parador is almost directly above (a few hundred feet uphill) from the Mirador - there are trees on that side of the hill which obstruct the view a bit from the Parador terrace. However on the plus side you can be sipping wine on the Parador terrace and have a great experience. In our case, we checked in to the hotel around 12:30 pm and went to Toledo town for lunch & sightseeing (Cathedral) by taxi. On the way back we stopped at the Mirador del Valle for 5 minutes (keeping the taxi waiting). Then we spent the evening on the terrace/cafe sipping wine as well as eating sandwiches/desserts. Overall the hotel facilities are good, rooms were good/spacious even if not outstanding.
Cons: The location outside town means that the eating options are limited to going to the Toledo town or the hotel restaurant. Looking at the menu, the hotel restaurant did not seem to have many vegetarian options (if there were any). We had to make do with the vegetarian sandwich in the cafe.

Pros: nice wiew on the historical center breakfast friendly staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing, private parking available and room was very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast could have more fruit options.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Our arrival was 5 AM the front desk guy was great. The swimming pool is nice.
Cons: We were asked to leave at 1 :30 PM. We were about to, but we did arrive at 5 AM. I would have given me a later check-out, say 3 PM.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel. Large comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms. We had a fantastic view over Toledo, well worth paying the small extra amount for the view. Breakfast buffet had all the usual things but a bonus is they cook your eggs to order so they are hot and fresh. It’s a bout a 30 minute walk into town which we did the first evening but took a taxi back. The next day we took taxis both ways, but it’s only 8-10 euros and you get free parking at the hotel instead of the usual €15 per day charge. Plus Toledo is quite a hilly city so walking around town is a workout enough. Guest staying at the hotel can also take advantage of the daily menu, evening included, for €15 for 3 courses, glass of wine and water. The food was very nice as was the wine that accompanied it.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The huge bed
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The restaurant on the hotel was very expensive
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large beds, luxury room and shower. Massive TV. Comfortable temperatures throughout hotel and room. Very cold outside - 2c in morning! Truly stunning location and views and just 5 minutes drive to town centre. Unbelievable value for money. Even summer prices look reasonable. Hope to go back very soon.
Cons: Set evening menu Eur15. Interesting selection and sadly I was given uncooked potato fritters. Quickly sorted but no real apology! Otherwise food excellent as was breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect view
Cons: Need to drive 10-15 min to old city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was comfortable friendly with incredible views. The car park was ample and felt very safe. The breakfast was cooked to order and the selection was very good. Excellent value for money will stay here again when travelling through Spain. Wished the stay hadn’t been so brief due to a delayed ferry.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Beautiful design and decor, very quiet, perfect location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor. Helpful, smiling staff at reception desk. Central location. Calm and quiet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel that made a beautiful property with a unique history contemporary and chic! Great staff and excellent location! Would absolutely stay again!!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, very attentive, friendly and efficient. Lovely decor, good breakfast. Restaurant was excellent for lunch.
Cons: Wine list in restaurant could be more extensive. We had a premium room which was well appointed except it would benefit from dispensing with the bidet and instead having a dedicated shower stall rather than an in-the-bath shower - there is room in the bathroom to include a separate shower if the bidet is removed. Finally - minor gripe - but the bar/breakfast room/main salon music is a compilation of covers well known songs - which were pretty much murdered by the cover artists - play the originals if you’re going to play anything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great conditions and room facilities. Delicious breakfast. Great discount policy.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The front desk staff are friendly and helpful and speaks English
Cons: Everything else
7.3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7.3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a very clean, classy hotel. The staff was more than helpful and it was very quiet. I liked that it was next door to a little market which allowed us to buy juice and bread in the mornings.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was silent, big, comfortable and clean. Check-in was hassle free. The hotel is really well located.
Cons: The mattress was too soft for my taste and there wasn't enough pillows to comfortably sleep. The floor with carpets is a kind of turn-off for me.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good heating system, good shower, good location, clean space, nice beding.
Cons: We knew they do not have a parking space yet they point you to a garage they have an agreement with. Unfortunately, it still costs 15 euros/ 24h. The normal fair would have been 19 euros/24h.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect in the downtown area The room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. Parking next-door was very easy, and was discounted from €20 to €14 for hotel guests. The front desk staff was very helpful in planning our tour through the city, as well as with any questions about our stay.
Cons: The room was air-conditioned, although it was a struggle to keep the room cool. The temperature outside during our stay was 108°F,
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We had a corner room on the 2nd floor that gave us a great view of the plaza and a nearby street from our balconies. We especially enjoyed watching the people on the plaza going about their daily lives as well as the two demonstrations that took place during our stay. The hotel was conveniently located so we could walk to all of the attractions that interested us. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions even though we speak no Spanish and they sometimes had to struggle to understand us.
Cons: WiFi was a bit weak in the room. It was faster in the lobby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a balcony and chairs with a view of the rooftops - great for a glass of wine. Beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful. Room architecture felt medieval with the heavy wood doors and red accents, definitely fit Toledo! I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
