10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rachel and John were extremely friendly and more than happy to help with anything. We liked just chatting with them. Also, their breakfast was amazing! It was part breakfast bar and part menu. I had cereal from the breakfast bar but then was able to order a cheese and chive omelette (an excellent one at that). They also provided coffee service, toast, jam, and butter. It was excellent! The views are amazing and I wish we would have been able to stay longer.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the faucet in our bathroom had one stream hot water and one stream cold water, thereby making it uncomfortable for hand-washing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about it ! Hosts excellent, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast superb !
Cons: Nothing !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Great hosts. Great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: While it was a super short visit before heading to the airport it was a great one! We stopped by early to drop bags off before check in time and they were super accommodating. When we got back we ended up chatting with the owners for a good while enjoying the comfortable lounge area. The location is fabulous, very close to the center of the little village. We walked around enjoying the windy roads and ended up at the beach and a small pub. The bed and shower were perfect (always my way of deciding a good night). Very cozy bed and great pressure in the shower! Overall if ever in the area again I would for sure stop by and hopefully get the chance to try out the breakfast next time!
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Andy & Aneka were the perfect hosts, very keen to ensure our stay was comfortable and helpful with local knowledge. Room and communal areas were spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful with a large range of hot and cold options. Location is perfect, just 100m from main street yet quiet even though it was Hogmanay.
Cons: I'm struggling to find anything that spoiled our stay but I have to write something.... Although immaculately clean, functional and newly fitted, the shower room was smaller than we would have liked. The shower control dial was quite stiff, people with poor grip may have difficulty.

Pros: Sheilagh was totally friendly and flexible with us. Many thanks :-*
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was everything I could have wanted with very friendly service. Location was absolutely fine for my requirements. My bed was very comfortable and my room and the whole establishment were at a perfect temperature - not over heated and stuffy.
Cons: A very small thing, but I like to read in bed, for which a good bedside lamp is necessary. The light was very dim as the bulb wattage was low and the lampshade was dark. I don't like using ceiling lights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, parking, great host. Room perfect size and comfy
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unbelievably good eggs! Obviously only the best ingredients used.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The home cooked full Scottish breakfast was excellent. The location was great for our needs and in walking distance to the High Street and restaurants. Lovely outdoor garden for an evening drink.
Cons: There was really nothing I could fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved Sheelagh and her husband, their cat, their decoration and hospitality. Thank you for everything.
Cons: Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming environment, breakfast of an exceptionally high standard, fresh fruit selection available that provided more choice than 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The dining area is very quirky and interesting, particularly liked the way that it was not identical standard seating with each table/chair demonstrating different examples of high quality furniture production. The china used was again selected from a range of styles but each table had its own set. Clearly the hosts have put a lot of thought into the planning of the home. Staff interactions were very positive, and I would highly recommend.
Cons: There were no aspects of the stay we didn't like.

Pros: Lovely staff, lovely pool etc and lovely room!
Cons: Nothing it was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were exceptional. Food was first class. Room was first class. Location was first class. Decor and Leisure Centre was first class.
Cons: Exceptionally mild so hotel too hot- uncomfortable in lounge, dining room and bedroom til turned radiators off and opened all windows.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, lovely food & very dog friendly. The public rooms & bedroom were furnished & decorated to a very high standard with nice little touches (good quality bathroom products, plenty of water in the room, fresh coffee & cafetiere available). Very clean. We didn't use the spa, but from what I saw of it from the window when heading to the beach, it looked very nice.
Cons: The only niggle was the mattress! I spent most of the night on the floor. It was way too soft for me, it was well padded with topper/cover etc but was like sleeping on a marshmallow with absolutely no support for my back. I do need a firm mattress but I can't remember ever having to sleep on the floor in a hotel before (I'm not heavy, quite slim in fact). The receptionist assured me that the mattress was only a year old but it didn't feel like that.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nothing a bother, eye willing to go out of their way to help get what we wanted (even though we were late arrivals at a breakfast just about to finish).
Cons: Beautifully situated by the beach. Amazing views.

Pros: Friendly, relaxed environment. Scenic area and wonderful Moray climate.
Cons: All first class.

Cons: Drinks service in main lounge
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Vanessa & Emma...great hosts
Cons: Shower in bath.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was of a very high standard as one would expect for the price of B&B.
Cons: Although the food was of excellent quality and quantity, we were disappointed that the dinner menu in the hotel main restaurant was exactly the same for all three nights of our visit. Would have expected some variety on at least one of the nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome and service from the staff were outstanding, and the food was as good if not better than expected from the high ratings. The breakfast was exceptional with everything being delivered to the table, with more toast and coffee as required.
7.9 Good
Pros: It was nice to have multiple restaurants to choose from.
Cons: Our room was on the basement level. This was great for eliminating noise but the security of the room was not great. The area itself seems secure but the back door into the room off the solarium had a single chain lock which anyone with one quick shove could open. Additionally, there was a strong suggestion to always leave your hotel room key behind in a draw that anyone in the hotel (including guests) could access. Not ideal for security.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great decor and very cosy. Lovely to have a whisky in their lounge. We ate dinner at their restaurant the kale yard which was delicious. We even had a stand alone bath in the bedroom which was a great treat for me.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cottage , service and delicious food
Cons: No shaver point in bathroom

Pros: Beautiful decor. The hotel was so warm and comforting but also modern. Staff were friendly restaurant area was great as well as the food and our room was fabous.
Cons: Nothing not to like. Place was fabulous
8.0 Excellent
Cons: There was no food available when we arrived, so we had to go without. After traveling from Glasgow we were looking to have lunch before going out at night.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Free parking, friendly staff, good breakfasts. Clean enough rooms although we did find a few long dark hairs on the bed two days in a row. We were allowed to check out a little later without any fuss. The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes and into town in 10-15 minutes. Good value. Apparently the meals are very good in the evening. Unfortunately not being dog friendly we didn’t get to try the restaurant.
Cons: We booked a club king room however the room we had looked nothing like the ones in the pictures and had no seating except one chair by the dressing table / desk. All pictures show comfortable chairs / sofas. When I questioned this I was told only junior suites have extra seating. Our room felt like it was a garden shed. It was at the back of the hotel with no access from the hotel. We had to go along a dark narrow icy path to get to it or walk around the car park to get to the front of the hotel. The room sounded hollow and you could hear the people upstairs walking, coughing, flushing the toilet and showering. The hotel is not dog friendly despite advertising so. At very best it tolerates dogs in some rooms but they are not allowed in any public rooms and not allowed in the bedrooms in the Main hotel. Basically if you have a dog you will be banished to the back of the hotel where the staff seem to congregate for their breaks. You could hear staff arriving early morning on a motorbike that they parked outside. Luckily the hotel was not busy as there was some noise from car arriving and leaving the carpark. There were only a few cars thankfully. They ha large function room that had Christmas parties on Friday and Saturday night. There was no sound from them but in summer if they open the doors to the garden and fire pit are open I guess the noise could be annoying.

7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, lovely rooms, warm, comfortable. The ladies who do breakfast are lovely and the young guy who served us in the restuarant was great, though he did seem to be the only one doing any work :/
Cons: This was our 2nd year visiting for new year and it was clear cut backs had been made. No bartender on new years eve, no room service for breakfast, only 1 loo roll at a time! The food...I ordered a pork dish with the usual sides...the sides were more the main meal and the pork the accompaniment there was that little. It was to come with creamy mash which was neither creamy or mash, just layers of sliced potato on top of each other.
7.0 Good
Pros: The dining evening & breakfast was good with good service. The welcome from reception was "welcoming" & our farewell was fine. The hotel was quiet & lacked atmosphere - probably the time of year. Loved the Highland Cows !!
Cons: The room was very warm even when we turned the heating off. Pillows were too hard. No heated towel rail in the bathroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay, comfortable room, walk-in shower and a full sized bath. Good breakfast too!
