Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub.This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also,our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim.All in all,This hotel needs revamping.On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.

Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access.

Pros: We were here just for a week. Hotel is located centrally right across from the beach. Rooms are very specious with luxuries beds. Dinner experience at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Just one small issue - we did not get city center view as the website promised. Balconies were facing each other with no privacy.

There is no carpet and it is all white tile which made it look very bright and clean. The sea view and sunrise in the morning is worth every penny spent. Pros: Unfortunately the WiFi was horrible while we stayed at this hotel. We called 3 times and they stated the WiFi was being rebooted, however the only reception was in the lobby and it was still was not working well. We had to resign on every time to even attempt to log in, however >90 % of the time it did not work. One of us had work to be done as well and had to leave to find a cafe with WiFi in order to complete the work. Overall, great location, staff friendly, fine rooms. We were woken up one morning by the cleaning staff before 9 am and they opened the door while we were sleeping.

The location is good--about 15 minutes walk to the beach (nice fountains, gardens along the way so you won't be bored), and 5 minutes walk to the bus station, where you can easily take the bus to the Nice airport.

Pros: Folks, this is a clean no frills hotel with everything you need and nothing you don't. Paid $75 a night. The location is the best there can be, right next to the old town and right next to all the busses by the port, which you'll need to get around the riviera. Rooms are clean, and a decent breakfast is included.
