Pros: Great staff, one not so friendly but hey! This is Amsterdam! The rest more than made up for her. Very clean. Very modern. Very COMFORTABLE. Transportation into city center was not bad at all with bus and tram station nearby and a main train station within a 12 minute walk. Pay for breakfast, pricey but worth it.

Pros: Other than the location, this place really was just so-so. Most Marriott Courtyards are cleaner, more comfortable, and have much better service. Pros: I spent two nights at the NH Barbizon and I only have positive things to say. It was a group of 5 friends and we couldnt be happier with our stay. The hotel in itself is beautifully decorated. Daniel helped my friends and I not only with our luggage, but with advice on getting around the city, recommendations for restaurants, and sightseeing. Pros: The building is an antique that seems to recently been rejuvenated. It's important to keep this in mind when coming here, because the place is not a modern hotel, and so some modern things may be missing. Central station (Thalys, Eurostar, streetcars, metro) is within walking distance and so are all the sights in the nearby historic downtown (Redlight District, Anne Frank House, Palace on Dam Square). Guests rate our location right in bustling downtown 9.4/10. On a business trip? RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam Arena and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol are only 15 minutes away by train.
