Pros: The rooms and the hotel in general were very comfortable and good looking. From the window, we could see the famous Canterbury Cathedral which is actually adjacent to the hotel itself. The breakfast included in the price was served directly in the room, but it is also possible to have it in the common dining room. The toilets and the showers were very clean.

7.3
Pros: The place is over 500 years old, and looking at the height of the door frames, I would guess that to be correct. I felt like I was staying in a museum, and I mean that in a good way. It was really cool sitting there thinking that people had been staying in the same room I was in for the past few hundred years. The hotel faces a really nice little square on one side, and looks out over Canterbury Cathedral and its surrounding yard on the other. Its a great location for exploring the town, and the prevalence of the Star Bucks right under the hotel made my friends happy they were able to connect history with 21st century consumerism.

Pros: I thought the hotel was very good for our one night stay and would use again for a short stay. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, quiet and overlooked lovely gardens. Everything is a bit dated though, I am afraid to say a bit fawlty towers in decor but the staff were lovely, the breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked, good value indeed.
