Pros: The host was really great, he was very helpful and nice. The location was really close to the airport but was also in walking distance to several restaurants.

Pros: We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The property was easy to find, the parking for the car was right at the door and check in was simple. The room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The block out curtains meant we were able to get a nice sleep in in the morning. We opted to pay the extra for breakfast and I’m glad we did. The Full English was delicious and very generous in size. There was a great assortment of pastries & baked items for the Continental breakfast also. I highly recommend staying here.

Pros: The proprietors were lovely. The best part of staying there was they picked us up from the airport one day and drove us there the next for our flight out. It was so nice not to have to worry about transportation. Breakfast was made to order and very good. Bed was comfortable. Room spacious enough. Good restaurants in walking distance.

Pros: Comfortable, efficient room conveniently located near the Gatwick airport in the neighboring town of Horley. Made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Hosts picked us up and delivered us back to Gatwick airport. The B&B is a 10 minute walk into Horley town with a variety of restaurants.

Pros: Everything was cozy and wonderful about this place. The host was very courteous. They even gave me one of the bigger rooms and it was probably the best bed i slept in since the beginning of my vacation. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: What a beautiful little place! It seems like it’s far from the airport but it’s quite close! Maybe 5-8 min drive. They arrange a private taxi company which is way cheaper. The host was so lovely and kind. Fresh baked cookies in the room with water. The dinner menu was fabulous! Overall I would stay here again!

Pros: The Maple Manor Hotel was a beautiful structure that was well maintained. Our room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast included was free, which was good for a light snack in the morning. My husband and I stayed overnight once which meant we had free parking available. A taxi to Gatwick North Terminal was £8 one way (took approximately 10minutes to get there, if so much) which was cheap in comparison to Uber. We would definitely stay there again when we’re flying from Gatwick as it’s an affordable and comfortable room that’s near to the airport.

Cons: The room was on the smaller side but we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our needs. (Just letting readers know what to expect.) Our taxi which they ordered for 8 30am came at approximately 8 45/50am. We had put in the request when we checked in the previous day. While it may not have been at any fault of Maple Manor Hotel, it’s best to book your taxi a bit earlier than you plan to so you won’t be rushing about at the airport. (We we’re still on time for the flight.)

Pros: We arrived at 11.30pm after a cancelled Gatwick flight. The receptionist was welcoming and even helped take luggage upstairs. He was still present and smiling as we left at 6am the next morning. The hotel is just a 15 minute taxi drive from the North Terminal.

Cons: •WIFI: the wifi internet was super slow, and then shut down entirely. unacceptable in a developed country. •DIRTY: there was a old fan in the room that turned on, but didn't blow any air. the wiring around the fan was entirely coated in dust. disgusting. it clearly had not been cleaned in months, which shows a lack of attention to detail. •CHECKOUT: checkout is at 10am. considering people have afternoon flights, would it really kill them to allow guest to checkout at 11am or noon? i never heard of a 10am checkout at such a small guest house. •ODD: the owner quoted a 7 pound taxi to the airport but it was 8. i don't care about the money, but this again shows a lack of attention to detail considering they must send several people to the airport daily. not knowing the price of such a core part of the stay seems strange.

Pros: The guest house was convenient to Gatwick.On the whole the guest house was clean although there were some cobwebs on the walls of our room.

Cons: Our stay was marred by a mix up about payment,the handling of this was very poor.Our friends expected a bar,there was no help in lifting heavy cases up 2 flights of stairs.The breakfast was not traditionally British.There was no bacon on the menu and the avocado on toast was mashed very sparingly.I must say the lady waiting on us at breakfast was very helpful and ran around looking after guests under difficult circumstances. To add to the general dissatisfaction water poured through the dining room ceiling during breakfast through a lighting fitment which sort of summed up my feelings on our stay. There was no help in putting cases into the car(owned by the guest house)We we told that 2 taxis had been ordered to ferry the 6 of us to the airport and one did not arrive?Hence the guest house took one car with two journeys?

Cons: I let them know about food intolerances well ahead of time, they told me to bring my own bread. Other places we stayed always arranged bread, yoghurt, milk etc. it was all business not about relating to guests. Welcoming but not friendly.

Pros: The location is excellent. Although I arrived in the middle of the night the courtesy bus took no time at all to pick me up. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding in any way. The whole place had an air of efficiency. The bathroom was small but everything worked well and was clean.

Despite the fact that we didn’t interact with the hosts in person as we arrived after check in had closed, the communication via booking.com and the notes they left meant everything was seamless in terms of entry and then the transfer to the airport in the morning. Complimentary taxi to the airport was a big factor in our booking. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which were helpful for the early start.

Pros: The efficiency in the running of the guest house was plain to see from check in to check out. The Art Deco theme was really classy and made such a change from the usual boring chintz curtains and pine furniture. The transport included to and from Gatwick was an added bonus.

If you are driving a Range Rover or big car don’t go on to upper parking its a night mare right ,square corners , tight space to ramp , no warning signs of this , you only realise when you turn to go up the ramp. Pros: We left early so have no idea what the breakfast was like. The trip from the airport was actually cheaper by taxi when we arrived than it was to be ferried back next morning by the hotel - but it was handy.

The staff was less than friendly or helpful! The walls are paper thin we could here conversations and people coughing throughout the night. I’ve stayed at Airbnb in the area with better hosts , nicer facilities, cleaner and quieter! Would not stay there again and do not recommend!

Pros: Picture and the hotel is totally different

Cons: The receptionist was v unfriendly, like he was doing me a favor. I emailed them in the morning to find out about shuttle services and didn’t receive a reply, and hassled to find my way to the hotel. I would definitely not stay there again!

Pros: good location when taking an early flight out of Gatwick. Price-Value is very good.

Pros: The bar ws a full floor and was pretty nice. Bath room was a good size and seemed clean.

Cons: 4 pounds for the shuttle was a bit much but that has nothing to do with the hotel directly. Tried to find a quick way to walk to the airport but wasn't able to. It was pretty quite in the hotel but the traffic from the motor way was loud. Limited wifi in the hotel, so if wifi is important not the best place. Staff was friendly and the check in ws easy.

Pros: Next to Gatwick

Cons: Dingy, mediocre staff, inadequate supplies (toilet paper was scarce), over priced mediocre food, thin walls
