The flight itself was smooth and the flight attendants seemed nice. However, my light did not work, and I had planned to read my book. also, my monitor did not work, so I could not see the time or the map. However, the worst part was the woman behind me. I was in the center seat she was in the right aisle. She coughed nonstop, a dry hacking cough. She did not cover her mouth, she did not put a mask, I did in the end, and nothing was said to her. It was not only irresponsible and inconsiderate, it was disgusting and lasted the entire flight. No flight attendant asked her to put on a mask. I could not believe someone could behave like that after two years of Covid. So, the flight was very uncomfortable, and although I am boosted, I hope I do not get sick.
Paid $99 for exit row in which seats were very tights and uncomfortable. It was also very cold in the cabin (layered up and used 2 blankets but still cold) The food was terrible and movie library was quite thin. Crew was friendly but bathrooms were not cleaned well or stocked during the 13 hour voyage.

The booking it's self ended up being through a diffrent company the Kayak and when I needed to change date the cost for changing was much higher then what kayak published on line ....
I am not angry at ElAl as much as I am angry at TravelCations. They cited me a price. They spelled my name wrong. They refused to change it. They cancelled my reservation and I started again. The price was still the same. Then, they called me to say the price went up to 2500. They really botched it

My Wife and I flew EL AL LY394 Barcelona - Tel Aviv by 20 Sept 2022. We were positively impressed by the good service provided by the company at flight time and, particularly, by the check-in counter team with special mention to the chief of staff. We had some troubles due to bookings ambiguities and they did the best to partially solve the incident. We will keep flying EL AL as far as the quality of its service does not deteriorate and we will cheer the company for any further improvement.
WiFi and screens for movies would have been nice. The food was good.

Flight 312 from Luton to Tel Aviv I did not receive the upgrade promised me through the EXTRAS promotion despite business class being half empty. Food was a disgrace - no choice at all . No water service. No drinks. No entertainment - why no film shown on shared screens? iPad not offered despite being Platinum member. One meal at hour 13 of a 15.5 hour flight. Flight attendants were missing for the middle 8-9 hours of the flight and no water or beverages were distributed after the first hour.

I have flown El Al a lot over the years. This flight left about 30 minutes late because of the arrival time of the incoming flight. The pilot said they would make up the time and we arrived ten minutes early. The food was excellent, flight attendants much more pleasant than when I flew a year ago and the Dreamliner plane was extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were well maintained and I had no complaints.

For business class, the seats are not comfortable.
When my jet blue flight from fla to ny was canceled el al got me to my destination so i could get to my mother in the hospital.
Good on all accounts. Delay was long and I had to take an unplanned taxi due to change but it was a good and safe flight. I enjoyed the service and the vegetarian meal was pretty yummy.

Ben Gurion Airport was very slow; we were queued for more than 2.5 hours just to get to the counter agent to check in and drop off baggage. Consequently, we were in a panic while waiting for security clearance, and then ended up RUNNING to the boarding gate. Literally managed to get on the plane with 2 minutes to spare before the official gate closing time- needless stress!! While the flight was comfortable with good seats, pillows and blankets, as well as well prepared and substantive meals, the experience upon arrival at Toronto Pearson Airport was a disaster. El Al uses Terminal 3, which I haven't used in probably 10 years. This is a terribly overcrowded and overwhelmed terminal, designed for 2 million annual passengers that now has to attempt to handle 15 million I was told by an airport employee while waiting for nearly 2 hours to clear Canada Customs. Will NEVER use this Terminal 3 again- a horrible experience.
