Train the employees better
Food selection was poor, no internet, boarding was very chaotic and disorganized.
Delayed take off. Missed my flight to SFO
Latam never said that I needed a PCR test 24 hours prior to traveling. I got an email saying “72 hours”. I had to leave the airport in Santiago, pay $45 for a taxi and pay $50 for a rapid test and then rush back to the airport. The Santiago flight left late and I lost my JFK connection to SFO. Alaska air couldn’t help. I had to buy a new ticket
i reserve the right of opinion
airport staff are very spoiled disrespectful
We bordered at 408pm Monday on time from Medellín to Bogota but when on the plane we sat on the runway from 420 to 700pm.. they never let us off the plane judt said logistical issues. I had a connecting flight to Quito Ecuador from Bogota the same say at 748pm. We landed in Bogota at 815pm missed my flight. I was told to call my provider Kayak.com ans Kiwi.com No replies until 7hrs later. In which they denied the plane even left the terminal as they said it was canceled but hey I have photos and sent them and they still couldn't belive it. So I sent proof and now they argue with me about waiting 3 months for repayment of the connecting flight. I've spoken now 25 agents all differnt names all giving differnt information. Never seen a company in 37 years be so unprofessional
The flight crew was nice,
Flight was good. Customer service in Lima was bad.
The crew was friendly. The food was good. I was charged 265 USD for two bags from Lima to Seattle. This seemed very extreme. But I had no choice because I had to get my luggage to Seattle.
Flight boarded late and left late making the Sao Paulo connection more stressful..
Great plane, great crew, very poor food
Lost my bags and had no answer for it
Worst airline ever.
ATAM Airlines by far the worst experience I ever had flying. Total disaster from beginning to end. Employees were beyond rude. When you call customer service with simple baggage questions they tell you to ask at the airport or check with your agency. Checking the same documents for every connecting flight, instead of doing it at the beginning of your flight and stamp all your boarding passes. Avoid lines and unnecessary contact with others by making long lines to check the same documents they already checked. If I can avoid this airline, I will sure do so and tell others to do the same.
THe group and in-flight teams in Cuzco and Lima did above and beyond to make sure I will not miss my connecting flights!
Moved me to any seat away from the terrible parent next to me
This flight did not happen because Kayak and LATAM systems did not effectively communicate and I could not board the flight on the first leg of my trip.
KAYAK and LATAM systems did not coordinate my reservation on the return trip. As a result, LATAM did not let me board on the first flight, and I missed all subsequent flights. Apparently, LATAM cannot manage a wait list. The best that KAYAK could do was to arrange the trip for two days later. I was caught between Kayak claiming that the reservation was all in order and LATAM saying it was not. An experience this bad is hard to tolerate. Of course, I will never use Kayak again. I'll avoid LATAM if at all possible. Remember when good customer service was a competitive advantage? Kayak and LATAM have forgotten.
Airline changed the boarding gate twice without telling anyone, almost making some miss the flight. There were no comments made. One of the worst Airlines I've.
Left on the dark all flight.crew disappeared after safety video, poor food and drink service and cramped seating.
The airline is terrible. They did not allow me to check in a bag ahead of time for my flight. I checked when I bought the ticket, I checked weeks before, I checked each day leading up to the day of my flight if I could add a checked bag and Latam kept telling me I had to do it at the airport when I check in. When I got to the airport they over charged me and told me I could have avoided the charge of $130 if I had paid ahead of time. When I explained that I tried and was told to do it at the airport, they gave me terrible excuses and pretty much told me too bad and robbed me of $130. I will never fly Latam again.
They served food even late for people who wanted to eat
I would recommend Lan Chile to all people flying to South America. Definitely a great experience.
This flight was canceled and trying to reschedule.
On board LATAM Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x35x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the LATAM Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.

The Chilean carrier LATAM Airlines is one of the most prevalent throughout Latin America and manages its operations from a primary base in Santiago. Flights are available to more than 20 countries across Latin America, North America, Europe, Oceania and the Caribbean.
You can choose between Economy, Premium Economy and Premium Business on your LATAM Airlines flight. The Premium Economy section provides greater legroom as well as increased privacy, with a maximum of 12 passengers in the separated section of the cabin. A full reclining seat that stretches in length to 6 ft 4 in is available in Premium Business, along with gourmet food designed by chefs and some of the finest varieties from Latin American wineries.

A mix of both Airbus and Boeing aircraft are chosen to fill out the fleet, with a preference for narrow-body jets that are designed to carry between 150 and 250 passengers. Airbus A320 models are most commonly flown for short-to-medium distance routes within Latin America, while the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is chosen for transcontinental flights.
