Pros: There was a two hour blackout and the emergency lights never went on. I complained about that. I was told that they were working on it. The next night there was twenty minute blackout and the emergency lights were working.

Pros: I love their comforter and pillows so much, that I remembered to stay there again, even though the last time I stayed was maybe 12-13 years ago. This despite the fact that I've tried 4 Seasons and other luxury hotels. This is the only one that left an impression. Great restaurant - tried it for dinner and breakfast. The only negative is the (free) WIFI - connection was difficult, convoluted, and unreliable.

Cons: It was a little pricey. It was the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed at and although I don't have any complaints, I just expected a little more for my money. Parking wasn't included. Rooms were equivalent to a mid-range hotel.

Pros: The hotel is in perfect location what is the most important when we travel. Bed was comfy, our room and other spaces clean, food tasty and the staff...The staff was AMAZING! Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman. Will definitely come back!!!

Pros: The hotel has such a wonderful interior as is such a statement-setting glass exterior. The suite was very spacious and comfortable for the best night's sleep. Modern-day aesthetic has been very pleasant to see! The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."
Cons: The parking lot was really tight. This should come as a warning to those who drive a long vehicle, such as a Chevrolet Suburban, because, despite whatever turning radius, your vehicle may rub into a column and, in turn, can do extensive damage to the vehicle body.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. The proximity to the old city attractions allowed us to park the car and walk/cab where we wanted to go. Concierge provided guidance to attractions and set us up for a romantic anniversary dinner at a top nearby restaurant. The service was outstanding and a great value. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour!

Pros: Only a block and a half from the Bell Centre, the Novotel is the place for Habs fans to stay. Bilingual staff is very friendly and helpful, refurbished rooms are well done -- very comfy beds including the sofa-bed if you need it, lots of electrical outlets to charge your toys, good lighting, free wifi throughout that works well. The on-site restaurant offers a good variety at very fair prices -- including a great breakfast buffet.

Pros: Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we had heard some concerns about night time noise, the hotel was quiet during our stay. The pool was lovely as ever, and a hot tub has been added since our last stay. The water temperature was just right in both pool and hot tub. Lockers for your clothes are free. The exercise room is nice. The duck pond was fun to watch.
Cons: A hotel the size of the Bonaventure could really use three hot tubs, especially since (unlike many hotels) the pool is so popular. We thought the hotel restaurants were a little expensive, although there are some reasonable dining options in the levels below Place Bonaventure. The carpeting in the hallways looks very worn, but on closer inspection, it's the pattern.

Pros: Unique experience superior location kind and helpful staff. Asked for a room with great view in quiet location and this was delivered. We arrived early and our bags were cared for and again the next day after checkout. It was an experience to swim and hottub on a roof top and see ducks swimming in a pond with large spruce trees outside while eating great breakfast buffet the next morning again on a roof top. Took someone special to Montreal for her 77th birthday and she was so impressed with our stay, the staff and the facilities that we have decided to make an annual event.

Pros: The Bonaventure is a rather unusual hotel, built in a very late 20th century modern style on the top 2 floors of an office/convention center building. Its rooms are laid out in a ring, surrounding a center lobby area with a bar and restaurant, year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a pond with ducks. Rooms are sleek and modern in a 1960-70s way, but comfortable and updated with firm beds and very nicely sized bathrooms. The rooms are very quiet, The ring layout means that there is minimal hallway noise and the hotel is high enough and with thick enough windows that there is almost no street noise (and many rooms face inner courtyards instead of the street). Staff and service are friendly and efficient, without being intrusive. Bonaventure isn't super-deluxe, but it is a welcoming, calming, and unique experience.
Cons: The only things I can think of is that the walk to the rooms can be a little long, due to the unusual layout and the fact that there are only 2 elevators between the street level and the lobby on the 10th floor. And guests should be aware that there will be short stairways between the lobby area and the hallways for the rooms. The drain in our tub was quite slow, but we let management know and they said the situation would be fixed before the next guest came. There is not a lot going on in the immediate area around the hotel, particularly at night (but there is a large train station across the street with multiple food options, including late fast food and a 24 hour Tim Horton's, and hotel is connected through convention center to underground passages and Metro station).

Pros: We were extremely disappointed that we were not told when booking that the hotel is undergoing renovations and that the pool would be out of commission. Also there were no efforts to provide ice for guests since all ice machines were not working. They also had carpets cleaned but they were not dried completely leaving a musty smell in our room and hallways. However the food at the restaurant and the staff there and in the lounge were excellent! We had the best breakfast of any hotel on our trip.

Cons: I've stayed at many Sheraton hotels in the past, and have always left completely satisfied with what I expected from the hotel chain; top notch service. During this stay, sadly I did not receive that same service. I originally booked a room with 2 Queen size beds for 2 nights as advertised on Kayak and reconfirmed with hotel staff when I called in to update my credit information. Upon arrival, I was told that my room was not what was guaranteed and that according to their computers I booked a room with 1 King size bed. My friend and I again mentioned that it was confirmed over the phone by one of their front desk reps, no extra steps to try and find accommodations other then to take a room with one bed and a pullout couch. The manager on duty made no attempts to even check sister locations for an available room with 2 beds. She even went as far as to imply that i blame myself for not booking earlier as that weekend was Osheaga weekend in Montreal. I BOOKED A MONTH IN ADVANCE!!! We ended up having to take the room with the pull out couch and were given free parking passes for our troubles. We asked for extra pillows and blankets to be sent to the room as well. Instead we were told that there were no more extra pillows and blankets available as they were at full capacity but they would see what they could do... We were brought a measly throw to use. The next morning with people checking out, we approached the front desk and asked if it was possible to have our original booking. The front desk rep told us that they were able to accommodate us after all, all we had to do was make sure all of our belongings were packed and ready to be moved to the new room and when we get back we just had to pick up our new key card at front reception. After repacking, and heading out for the day; we came back to NO SUCH CHANGES. No we could not move, no other accommodations blah blah blah. Went back to our room expecting it to be at least cleaned... THEY HADN'T EVEN BOTHERED TO CLEAN OUR ROOM. I am never staying at this particular location again.

Pros: The room was so hot we checked out early and went somewhere else. We asked to be moved but they said no they would fix the air. Never fixed it. Spent all night sweating. Never going back ever!!!

Pros: excellent location. you could easily get anywhere from that spot it was literally in the middle of everything without being noisy or disruptive. the hotel is smaller but the rooms are quite large. it has a great balance between quality of service and amour of patrons. staff were friendly and go above and beyond. rooms were beautiful. bathroom was fantastic with lots of space. I loved the shower that had two separate stations with multiple water stream heads. it was huge and made my friend and I feel like we were staying somewhere extremely expensive even though we got our room for dirt cheap. breakfast is included and it is good with delicious flakey crescents fresh juices and other items. they even give you a discount on a nearby parking garage if you have a care though in montreal you truly don't need one. the hotel is right near a metro stop that has trains coming every 3-4 min and will have you where you need to go quickly as well.
Cons: while the skylight is decoratively attractive if you want to sleep in, it is harder haha. I can't sleep with a mask either. the beds were reasonably comfortable though I have had better. my only real complaint was that damn skylight so I don't know if there were other rooms without one but they need to come up with a way to cover it by remote control or something. none the less I would happily stay there again and again.

Pros: Thank you Kayak for making a stay here affordable! We loved the location and the room (though a little dated) was huge, comfortable and very clean! They gave us 2 complimentary drinks and breakfast was included. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Joey at check in, never would have guessed he was new. Bernard our wait staff at supper-never would have guessed he was called in and was swamped because he took great care of us. And our omelette creator was amazing. Hilton all of your hotels can use Montréal Embassy Suites as their example.

Pros: We liked the complimentary drinks and breakfast.
Cons: The room was fairly dark with all lights on. No overhead light nor light to see the safety deposit box. We also had problems with the climate control and the room was too hot. The bed was fantastic. We only stayed for two nights, so the refrigerator and microwave were nice but we didn't use them.

Pros: The hotel is lovely and the room splendid and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: What I didn't like is the fact that through no fault of ours, we were not there for the first nhight. Our plane was late leaving ORD and when we arrived in LaGuardia the connecting flight was cancelled and we could not get out of NYC until the next day. If we booked directly with the hotel they would have given us a refund but, we could not get a refund because we booked through Kayak. I would really appreciate a refund for that first night from Kayak. I never used Kayak before and I think this would be good customer service. Thank you!

Pros: Hotel really needs some attention. The lobby is not welcoming and the stairs leading up to the hotel are uneven and slanted. The rooms are an excellent stay for families . Kitchen is great. Pros: Location - very close to the conference center, easy access to other amenities Staff - very helpful and friendly Breakfast - delicious with a good selection of healthy choices (Fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast etc..). My son loved the bunk bed.
Cons: The bed wasn't great - it was easy to feel the springs in the mattress and there wasn't a huge amount of support. I switched rooms the last night and the second was a bit of an improvement mostly because it had a thicker mattress pad. The rooms are small so not suitable for lounging in but it met our needs.
