|Top route||Ottawa to Toronto Island|
|Top airport||Toronto Island|
Pros: Nice lounge. Fast boarding & disembarkment
Cons: There is a Covid-19 outbreak and this airline refused to change my flight. They are a disgrace.
Cons: Return checking by Porter staff
Pros: Originally: a low fare
Cons: Flight oversold, travelers bumped. Flight delayed while they kicked people off the flight.
Pros: Cheap fares but may not be worth it
Cons: Flight delayed and oversold. Was told I might be bumped because mine was the lowest fare type. Wouldn’t fly Porter again if that is how they run their airline.
Pros: Great value. Free beverages including a small selection of beer, wine and whiskey. Otherwise no frills, no with, no entertainment. Short haul flights, no problem. Best bargain airline
Cons: There is a fee to change your assigned seat US$10-20(?), regardless of whether it's a "better" seat. Fortunately, this trip our seats (family of three) were near where we wanted to be. But, it would have been disappointing to have to pay for each seat change for each leg, each way.
Pros: The crew is always friendly at Porter. The free wine is awesome.
Cons: There’s no entertainment.
Pros: The seat was comfortable
Cons: I could not get was the flight was delayed.
Cons: I was ripped of by baggage check!! They sold my a basic fare, which is 20 less than standard, but never told me I had to check my back which cost 40! Ended up costing me more!! I was furious
Pros: Everything went as planned.
Cons: USB or power outlets.
Pros: Great crew. Easy boarding. Free snacks and drinks.
Cons: No entertainment. No outlets/USB. Older plane.
Cons: Porter declined re-booking the flight due to weather conditions and forced us to purchase new tickets. Reservations made through anything other than Porter are treated poorly, service can be declined due to overbooking.
Pros: Free wine and beer service
Cons: Gate agents, re-booking
Cons: 12 hour delay to Toronto!!!
Pros: On time; easy boarding check-in
Cons: It would be such a nice touch if you could set up coffee and breakfast snack in the terminal waiting area.
Cons: Entertainment and timeliness
Cons: Flight delayed but good
Pros: Lead flight attendant was attentive, cheerful, and helpful!
Pros: Efficient check in. Liked the shuttle bus service from subway to airport.
Cons: As expected this is a commuter flight so very stripped down in terms of amenities. Tight plane seating and those overhead bins just barely accommodate the carry on.
Cons: Needs to be more clear that you have to pay to bring bag on.
Cons: Honestly, even if the aircraft was delayed, there is nothing one can do and just be patient. Lunch and dinner vouchers were issued, that was well appreciated!
Pros: Bubbly flight personnel. Helpful front desk staff.
Cons: Keep on going
Pros: Crew was amazing with my baby. Overall a very good flight.
Cons: We were delayed leaving Quebec for the aircraft weight being to heavy and Porter had oversold the flight. They had to burn fuel from the plane while on the tarmac For awhile to make the weight restrictions. The flight was nearly 90 minutes late taking off, Once in the air the flight was nice.
Pros: Wine and food on flight, nice crew
Cons: The people at the ytz airport missed our boarding call and then had to tell us in person to board and our flight was late.
Cons: The crew could have checked us in...we were 5 minutes late for checkin and had to book and pay for another flight.
Cons: The crew could have checked us in...we were 5 minutes late and had to book and pay for new tickets.
Cons: That don’t let you go standby on an earlier flight with a “basic” fare, even when there are empty seats. Not clear when you purchase through Kayak.
Pros: Crew was super friendly and amazing
Cons: Leaving on time!
Pros: Free wine
Cons: The deboarding. I don't understand how the plane became inoperable only after we were backing out of the gate. Nothing done to compensate for the inconvenience.
Pros: Crew on plane were very good; gate agent was not.
Cons: Assertive gate agent in Toronto insisted I check my carry-on even though it was within regs and there was lots of overhead space (I was 2nd on the plane) but he insisted saying it would be waiting for me as I debarked (not true-came down carousel with checked bags)
Cons: If the flight is over Nigara , a brief commentary on Nigara will enthuse the passengers.
Pros: Crew was very professional
Cons: For a quick hop boston to toronto it was ideal
Pros: The crew was very professional.
Cons: For a quick hop from Boston to toronto this was ideal.
Pros: I got to the destination.
Cons: I could not have been ripped off with extra baggage fees.
Pros: Friendly crew wick deplaning
Cons: $35 for a carryon is ridiculous. Do you really want your peer airline to be Spirit? Quote your all in price for fares.
Pros: Crew was great. Enjoyed the free wine
Cons: Include baggage and seat in price. Such a bummer to pay more at the airport
Cons: Small plane. Limited space for roll ones.
Pros: Convenient! Love flying to Toronto on Porter. Nice glassware for drinks. Unique feel. Will definitely fly again!
Pros: The crew was very attentive and the seats are comfortable. The waiting time is horrible...they are always late!
Cons: I like landing at Billy Bishop, it is very convenient and not too crowed but lately the common lounge has gotten so crowed that you can only seat on the floor. The flights are usually 2 hrs delayed sometimes 3 or 4 hrs delayed! so never plan on having a connecting flight on the other side of your tr
Pros: The crew was good and boarding was super efficient
Cons: No entertain on the plane. Since when YTZ offered no more complimentary drinks and some snack?
Cons: No space for carryon rollers.
Cons: Not the airline’s fault but we were delayed. That’s the only thing that could have been better
Cons: Plane was late.
Pros: Great and helpful crew
Cons: Porter airlines mechanical failure caused 13 passengers to miss connection to DC
Pros: Bunch of crooks gave me the wrong time. Missed my flight
Cons: Getting correct to information
Pros: Crew perks and helpful staff
Cons: Short time between transfers and delay
Pros: Great folks by the check in that helped me with emptying my water bottle getting my checked bag through and through security , y’all guy with light blonde hair in a man bun was exceptional in helping me make my flight
Pros: The crew was helpful and everything was on time.
Cons: The ride was a bit rough at the end if the flight.
Cons: Horrible customer service. One plane was not fit to fly so delayed 30 minutes to get another ready, then after flying 30 minutes, had to return to airport because the plane had mechanical issues. Then after an hour being held without bathrooms at gate outside lounge, we flew and landed 4 hours late.
Pros: Good area before boarding
Cons: Better information upfront about immigration in Canada and not a million unnecessary information. Highly unprofessional. Had lot better experience with other websites
Cons: After boarding had to deplane and go on another aircraft.
Pros: Flight was fine
Cons: So many delays which missed our connection. Very costly. It’s the next day and I’m still not to Montreal!
Cons: Was delayed by 1.5 hrs and only received 1 alert about the initial 30 mins delay.
Cons: Canceling flights with no notice and rescheduling made me lose a day
Cons: Fees, space , training their employees
Pros: Staff on the checkin desk was very kind and helpful.
