Got the 1st car and the screen didn't work so at 11:30 pm I'm changing cars and then when I went to drop the car off, I was charged for the second time. Still not refunded told I have to send in proof, so I did. I was told when I picked the car off, I paid upfront which I knew I did, so I don't' understand why I was charged again.

Vehicle needed brakes replaced, STRONG AND PERVASIVE ODOR OF MARIJUANA YHAT DID NOT DISSIPATE, vehicle requested was not provided and as such one traveler was left behind.

I will never use kayak, dollar, or car rentals again. I went through kayak as a third-party with a rental. New car charged me almost $500 immediately. Because of the Microsoft IT outage, all my flights were canceled. I tried to call all three companies and no one would help me no customer service no nothing. Consequently I was unable to cancel my rental and have been charged full price for a rental. I did not use. I am so disgusted, disappointed, and feel so misdirected and Deceived. Never again. Lesson learned to go right to the source.

I ordered a compact to mid size car. They wanted to give me an 8 passenger SUV. I told them I would be driving an 88 year old around and that was not acceptable. They gave me a full size car that reaked of marijuana, had burn marks on both front seats and on console, the front driver seat didn’t adjust. But that is all they had so I took it. I had paid in advance for this rental and thus is what I got. Very poor showing for dollar.
The pickup was impossible. Long line with one person working.

I don't think the car was inspected very well prior to me renting it. There was sticky stuff on the inside of the front passenger window that prevented the window from going down in a few instances. All the staff I encountered whether in person or on the phone were very pleasant and efficient. When I needed to call the customer support number, the options were very confusing. I needed to report an issue, but it wasn't an emergency, and there was not an obvious choice, so that was very frustrating. The car also smelled like a smoker. Staff 5/5, experience 3/5.

The car was filthy and smelled terrible. We were driving to our wedding and had to have the wedding dress dry-cleaned before the ceremony because the car smell attached itself to the dress. There was a used, bloody band-aid on the rear floor of the car.
pick up was not good sign said 3rd floor but we had to check in first on the 5th floor. long line. one teller who was slow and chatty with customer. finally they added another teller. that moved faster. then i had to go back down to the 3rd floor friendly staff. car wasn’t ready. they were adding gas that took awhile. offered me another different model but i only wanted a van. pickup was very nice and easy. one floor
Customer Service and the car itself were both great. The price, especially since I was picking it up in Providence and dropping it off in Boston. It was very good. Would do that same thing again as I come up frequently.

I never was able to rent the car. They said their system was down. I was on a work trip so I had to rent a car from a different company. I will never do it this way again.
