Food was bad but everything else was good.
Layover is no longas lengthy as it used to be. My luggage got missing and was sent to me three weeks later.

Really uncomfortable seating
The crew need more training on customer care and social support. They looked like people who not interested to help others whatsoever and regardless of availability of requested services or not. The other element is about food choices. I was allergic to eating cooked eggs and the flight attendants were not able to provide alternative food but they didn't even show sympathy or understanding to my issue. They even forgot to provide juice drinks to my row and when I asked ... they questioned my sincerity and started to ask the other two people sitting on my sides and they the same response.
The flight check in was delayed.
Check in process at Istanbul for India flight was clunky.

Turkish airline gave option to select seats by paying and after I paid and selected the seats, Turkish airline changed my seats to something else that I had selected. Turkish ticket counter, gate agent couldn't help and asked to reach out to Customer service and CS had all documentation and didnt process my refund. So do not pay for seats since Turkish airline will change those selected seats and won't honor them even though paid for them.
The only issue is the bathrooms were not kept clean

The crew in the plane was very inattentive. . I was in the middle seat and they served food to the passengers on each side but passed me and I waited and no food so I had to call a crew member and ask for my food. I was upset but ok as figured, it happens and was ok with it. But then they did the same for dessert as well . So had to ask for it again. Infact the passenger sitting next to me also commented, that why are they not serving you the food! Then went to restroom and as I was abt to enter, an air hostess standing there said, can I go first to wash my hands and want in the bathroom and didn’t come out for sometime. While waiting there, I asked another air hostess if she could help me with seat set up as I was having trouble with the controls and she said she will come and help me. But never came. I asked 2 different crew members for WiFi info and each one said they will be bk and never came bk. So very very disappointed with service. Don’t want to travel again with this airline.

Bad seats for business class, basically economy with seat empty in the middle, very uncomfortable

Before boarding some of your agents were checking boarding passes, when I and others asked questions they were rude and unbecoming! Decided to keep my comments to myself also when leaving the plane at JFK, There was woman flight attended at the door telling all the business class passengers " thank you for coming, good night but the turned around facing us coach class and not one word just smiled. Never had that experience before this is the first! And I was asked if I wanted an upgrade to business class online before the flight? Question? How business class is better than coach when even the flight attendeds don't acknowledge and greet others?????

We liked the food and friendliness of the flight and ground crews. The Boeing plane from Chicago to Istanbul could use an upgrade though. Also, it would have been great if we had a flight option with only a 3-4h of layover because 1h 20m was too short and 9h 20m was too long.
When the flight was delayed may would be better give snack & drink to passengers while we were waiting the plane ready. Thank you.

on top of poor experience, omar has missed my baggage and it took me 2 weeks to get my baggage back. Worst part is I came to know it's been delivered to someone's address.
We are 22 hours transit from Delhi to WashingtonDC, but we didn't get hotel accommodations even we request to manager on duty ( hotel desk) turkey new airport.
