Pros: The staff were brilliant,- friendly, helpful and giving useful information. The snacks for happy hour were excellent!! It was really easy to get to from the coach station and hotel had given very good instructions. The area around hotel was interesting and a great square with many cafès and restaurants was very close.

Pros: A lovely little hotel in a quiet location. There is a small enclosed garden where drinks are served in good weather. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

You may think being a distance from Piazza San Marco is a negative. Just the opposite. The location is perfect. Away from the very crowded center yet close enough to easily (for Venice) get to all the must-see areas. Highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: There is no regular restaurant in the hotel, however you can find plenty in Venice anyways. You have some sort of a wine bar instead, with happy hours tasty appetizers and delicious finger food.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. We contacted Stefano who was able to help us decide where to leave our hire car OUTSIDE Venice, giving us just a 5 minute bus ride into Piazzale Roma! From there, we took the vaporetto up the Grand Canal to our stop at Accademia....it all went smoothly, thanks Stefano!! We chose this area as it is quieter, and the hotel is beautiful, with many Art Deco furniture and furnishings. We were not disappointed!

Canal view, clean, comfortable beds, spacious for 4 of us couldn't ask for more- 5 Stars Breakfast= delicious!! 5 stars we felt thoroughly looked after through our 4 day stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, Thank you Roberto and all your wonderful staff... I hope we will be able to visit Venice and your hotel in the future.

Cons: The room for which I paid over $400 per night was a small cell with a very high window which was useless. Told me this was their "standard room." For 50 Euro more they found me a "superior room". It had a window, but looked over a flat rooftop into a wall. Find out about the room before booking.

Pros: Literally everything was amazing! They knew it was our honeymoon so they offered us an upgrade which was really a nice gesture of them. The room had a beautiful view but calm at the same time the bed was really comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was great with a wide variety and finally the staff were so friendly and helpful. Pros: The location was central and gorgeous on a little canal, and our room had french doors opening to a small balcony overlooking the water - so lovely! The staff were absolutely delightful and brekky was great - they had so many Gluten Free Options! The area around the hotel had great restaurants as well - so bonus!

Pros: Nice and cozy place in an ancient building; however, all facilities are new and excellently refurbished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast featured a great selection for such a small place; my special thanks go to the breakfast lady who cooked me one of the best omelettes I tasted in hotels!

Pros: Literally everything was amazing! They knew it was our honeymoon so they offered us an upgrade which was really a nice gesture of them. The room had a beautiful view but calm at the same time the bed was really comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was great with a wide variety and finally the staff were so friendly and helpful. For sure whenever we are planning to visit again we know where to stay. Thank you for the wonderful time

Pros: The location was central and gorgeous on a little canal, and our room had french doors opening to a small balcony overlooking the water - so lovely! The staff were absolutely delightful and brekky was great - they had so many Gluten Free Options! The area around the hotel had great restaurants as well - so bonus!

Cons: The only caveat I have is for the room. I travel a lot and the room itself surprised me. I expected a more elegant hotel in a five-star hotel. Here there were usually floor panels, a micro bathroom and quite damaged. I would give the room three stars. of course I will add for the truth and the room was superior - standard.

Cons: Freshly painted, both the reception and breakfast room and the sleeping levels smelled of paint. Very mixed staff. Some at the reception were very helpful, while others were very rude. The breakfast area was too small, There were no tables free to sit down. The breakfast lady is also very impolite.

Cons: Returned from our stay on Thursday and it wasn’t a pleasant one to say the least. We arrived on the Monday and found it difficult to sleep with strong paint fumes. We moved rooms the next day, returned on the evening and the door locked was jammed! We slept in the room next door without any of our belongings, including my partners medication/contact lenses etc. We had a paid excursion booked for the following morning. We continued to go ahead in last nights clothes etc other than waiting around for the door to be unlocked! When we returned, we where told that they managed to get into our room and moved all our belongings into new room. A tiny bottle of Prosecco was left on the side for us with a note saying ‘sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding’! Somehow I managed to stay pretty calm until this moment, so I returned the gesture and said I felt it was an insult. Basically the whole stay was a shambles! It shadowed our stay in such a beautiful city. No compensation or nothing. I’m absolutely gutted!!

Cons: Cleanness of the room on the day of our Sunday arrival was not perfect. The staff should make sure to always clean switches, which was greasy since we arrived till we left. Also, toilet paper was half empty- makes me question the cleanness of toilet. Otherwise, the days after, bathroom was perfectly clean, fresh towels everyday (thank you for that!). The telephone in the room does not work, why do you have it there? Would be helpful to have a note with wifi password in the room, otherwise the staff on reception could remind it on the beginning.

Also, I would recommend the owners to explain ow to reach the hotel both by walking and by vaporetto from tarin station. Google map can not find the exact place from the address given and therefore it takes time and efford to find the hotel (worse is with luggages).

Curfew is until 1:00AM so I was hesitant to complain about the noise...but very noisy neighbors both nights I stayed. Breakfast was not filling. 3 Euro for 3 rolls/butter/jam and your choice of a hot drink.

Cons: Not sure if they have lockers, but this would be a great extra. Regardless, only guests of each room have the room key so just bring a lock for your bag if necessary.

Cons: One of the others guests in the bedroom brought one strange to had sex in the night hidden while they thought that I was sleeping. I think this is unacceptable! I paid for my bed and I think this is wrong and disrespectful. The hostel shouldn't let things like that happen...

Pros: Good location. The surrounding was very happening at night. Got halal kebab shop right in front of the hostel which is very convenient for snack at anytime. Walking to the centre is quite a distant but sightful. The staff was very accommodating. Overall, an excellent hostel to stay in.

Pros: Loved the place I stayed at. I got a private room and it has a sink in the room which was very convenient. Shared bathroom and shower which was newly renovated (or at least it seemed). Bathroom and shower was sparkling clean which is very important to me!! it was in a safe neighborhood and really close to the main area in Piazzale Roma. It was about an 11 minute walk once you get off the aerobus. In a private room, you get a bed and desk which was exactly what I needed to sleep and get some work done. The rooms didn't really have any windows, but that wasn't a dealbreaker to me. I went during March and it was still winter so I wasn't going to open them anyway -- but if this is important to you, keep this in mind. There was also someone who came to clean my room once during the 5 nights that I stayed there. Highly appreciated and it exceeded my expectations since I don't expect that kinda service when I stay at a backpackers/hostel kind of place. For a backpackers place, it's definitely one of the cleaner ones I've stayed at!!

Cons: I didn't like the staff who treated me. When he took me to my room and asked me if I want some beer. He said he could bring me some beer for free. His behavior made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe until another girl moved into my room. And this girl told me when I was in the bathroom, the staff came to our room and asked where I was. It just made feel very very bad.

Cons: On some days, my neighbor rooms were kinda loud even though I know they were trying to keep it to a minimum. The walls were thin I suppose. The only major thing that really annoyed me was that the wifi connection was not reliable. It was noticeably better at night while everyone was asleep than in the afternoon. I know this b/c I was feeling so jetlag and I had no problems using the wifi when I woke up at 3am. But after 4pm the wifi almost didn't work. If you're not someone who needs to use the internet a lot, the wifi is functional. But I do work online so I needed reliable Internet. Also, I realized that cafes in Venice don't have wifi like they do in the U.S. and there was not a single Starbucks in sight to go use the wifi.
