Pros: the service was incredible. Patient, thoughtful and extended their help in every way. they go out of their way to serve you. No need to pre-plan events to attend, ( I went for carrnival), they will make suggestions and book events for you. I only tried this service once and regret not having made all of them with their help. The breakfast was extension, excellent pastries as well as ham, cheeses, cereals, eggs, etc.... Room was modest in size but skillfully and beautifully decorated. I will be returning

Pros: Staff was excellent, very solicitous. Rooms were Italian small, but nevertheless comfortable and efficient. Location was excellent, right on the Grand Canal, simply a 5-8 minute from the main bus terminal from the airport at Piazzele Roma. A great location to begin exploring the wonderful city. Could not have been happier.
The Hotel Olimpia Venice, BW Signature Collection boasts a central position in the ever romantic mystic Venice alongside a typical living canal. It is close to the Basilica dei Frari (the School of San Rocco) and few minutes walk from the Grand Canal. The position of the Hotel Olimpia Venice, BW Signature Collection makes easy access via car / airplane/ train or even cruise ship, and is extremely close to the Piazzale Roma and to the train station, a position which allows the guest to easily reach Venice making any transport of luggage, trouble free. Car parking, if necessary, is pre-arranged by the management. We have recently completed a renovation making our services more inviting: reading room, bar, Internet access and a nice garden, a real bonus by Venetian standards. The breakfast room has wall to wall windows facing into one of the typical canal. The bedrooms are all decorated in a typical Venetian style dating back to the early 18th century complete with private bath/shower room, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite television, radio and mini-bar.

Pros: The hotel has an unbeatable location as it seems to be in the middle of everything but a bit tucked away at the same time. The staff is very helpful and eager to make your stay as nice as possible.
Cons: The temperature cannot be lowered much during the winter so, even though is cold outside, the room can get very hot. I’m any case, we just opened the window a little and that fixed it

Pros: The breakfast was good and the bed was comfy
Cons: The bathroom was the worst and was built for a handicapped individual and we were neither and not allowed to change rooms. and all the water from the shower was all over the floor. The floor was very cold on your feet so you have to wear shoes. And the temp is really controlled by the front desk. Very annoying to have to call and get some one to change the temp. Windows are right by the walk way and you hear everything and people passing even in the middle of the night if your on the first floor.

Pros: The rooms were lovely, we were upgraded free of charge and the staff were attentive, helpful and ever so accommodating. I would stay here again very happily!!
Cons: Whilst the hotel is charming and beautifully decorated, there are a few corners or edges that are a little damaged (skirting in bathroom was split). If those were repaired then I honestly wouldn’t have been able to find fault at all!)

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The building was built in the 1300's. We just loved the history of it. The staff went above and beyond. The breakfast was good. The location was great. About a 5 minute walk from the water bus stop and about 15 minutes from St. Marks square. After being in the crowds all day it was nice coming back to our quiet little corner of Venice,sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sunset and the boats go by.
Cons: I would have given it a higher rating except our room was on the bottom floor. It was very damp and the AC did not work well at all We did let them know the unit was not working properly and I am hoping they will replace it for future guests.

Pros: Historic building, good breakfast selection - super breakfast room - get there early to snag one of the two tables on the canal front balcony. Front desk and breakfast room staff are friendly and responsive. Was upgraded for one night - nice to ahve a larger room but required a move the second night.
Cons: I booked a single room - advise to get a double as although fully functional, the single rooms are tiny. My room did have a view over the side canal though and large windows in the sleeping and bath rooms!

Pros: The property was beautiful and clean. The location was so convenient. Close to port, train station, and the Grand Cannal! It was nice that our raye included buffett breakfast. The beds were the only thing I would suggest they improve. For a 4 star property, I was expecting cushier bedding.

Cons: Old old old. Non functional facilities in the room. No blackout curtains! Noisy. Too much light when darkness is needed! My bathroom had a translucent door! With the wc just in front of it! No computers, no printer! Seems like modern live needs is something they don't care about too much. Old and heavy seats at the breakfast area. Breakfast buffet way below expectations... Compared with other 4star hotels I have the opportunity to be at, this one deserves 2 stars at the most

Pros: This hotel while in an amazing location was a little off the beaten path that made it nice and quiet in the evenings. Mario was extremely informative and even gave us a detailed map with 3 recommended restaurants for dinner, where to go, and where to walk to for great views, etc. the rooms were very clean, pretty, and while we chose to share a bathroom, I probably would not do that again and pay the extra to have our own.
