The Virgin seats in business are quite narrow and also don’t recline enough in a seated position. When you make them into a bed, it is quite hard, despite the thin cover and cannot be adjusted at all, in comparison to business seats in other airlines. Virgin need to upgrade the quality of their seats. The food on this flight, I had an AVML was not good, normally though I have found the food to be good. Other than that, the staff were very attentive and pleasant during this long 14 hour flight.

If I could fly Virgin Atlantic airlines to every place, I need to go, I would. Leaving Heathrow through the special virgin air entrance, security is completely white glove service. I love this airline. From ticketing agents to flight staff everyone tries to make it a wonderful & happy flight experience. I wish other airlines copied the positive culture of Virgin Airlines.

Premium was very comfortable. Food was delicious. I had specific diet requirement and Virgin Atlantic ensured it was provided. Onboard crew was very friendly and caring. Extremely smooth journey. I wonder how upper class experience would be. Perhaps one day, I will try upper class.

The crew on both flights were courteous and professional. The flights were smooth and on time. Great experience overall. There could have been at least a drink on the flight's JFK - JAX leg.

I didn’t like that I had to be pulled aside to be searched in front of people like a criminal. Even if you had to search people create a room no in front of people. It’s not decent at all. I love to fly with virgin always.

Pros: People were friendly. Flight was comfortable.
Cons: Staff incorrectly assessed documents needed for visas, and told us we were incomplete and needed to return home. Instead of looking up policy, we were denied boarding mid-flight, missed a wedding, and had to spend three days in London instead of our destination. Pros: I like that there are multiple bathrooms onboard.
Cons: The rows are so narrow between seats that your roll on suitcase will not fit. You have no elbow room in your seat. Overview of Virgin Atlantic
With headquarters and main operating hubs in London, Virgin Atlantic focuses predominantly on long-haul transcontinental flights to North America, Africa, Asia and South America. They also use a secondary hub in Manchester to help manage the load of these services.
The airline is jointly owned by the Virgin Group, Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines. As a benefit of the partnership with Delta Air Lines, Virgin Atlantic can make use of their hubs and facilities throughout the United States to provide better service to customers. A joint partnership is also in place with Air France-KLM. Codeshare agreements are in place with Singapore Airlines, Air China and Air New Zealand, among others.
You can choose between Economy, Premium and Upper Class (their version of Business Class). Premium passengers will be served a glass of champagne upon boarding, while amenity kits featuring beauty creams and aromatherapy sprays are supplied if you have a night-time flight. Enjoy a glass of wine from prominent suppliers Berry Bros & Rudd in Upper Class, along with hot and cold meals served on designer plates and cutlery. Upper Class is the only section with seats that fully recline to a flat bed.
Virgin Atlantic chooses to use exclusively Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with a fondness for wide-body planes that are capable of flying long distances. Models such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 are some of the most common. A distinctive red tail emblazoned with the airline’s logo can be spotted from a distance. All of the aircraft have feminine names like Queen Of Hearts and Mamma Mia.
