Du retard(2j) et inconfort des fauteuils que je n’ai pas apprécié. Par contre , les hôtesses sont accueillantes
A technical delay caused us to miss our connecting flight which resulted in an additional nights stay which cost us $225 as well as $800 to get on another flight. Absolute BS. I’ll never fly them again
Only as a last resort.
2 heures de retard !
The crue and the pilot perfect!
Embarquement rapide avec sa valise.
OK
The plan was late, 1h45min late !!!
3h10 de retraso, espera para embarcar en el hall después de enseñar billetes y fuera delante del avion
Use less plastic. Use biofuels. Use solar panels and electric vehicles.
We had pay 50 euros taxe bagage to aéroport and we have already pay with kayak option bagage cabine It is not normal Bad service of kayak
The seat il very hard.
Pros: Crew was great
Cons: Boarding was horrible, Santorini’s airport was horrible, the flight was delayed, no one knew what was going on, there is no organization with boarding it was a mess
Pros: Quick flight, arrived early! That part was great!
Cons: Boarding is a joke. Everyone hoards the gate and there is no organization. Recommend using boarding zones. Italians have no idea how to make lines.
Pros: That finally we arrived. 6 hours delay.
Cons: Everything. Poor management from Volotea and very poor services from SACBO.
Pros: The crew did a fanstastic job!
Cons: The seats werent the best and my seat didnt have a window.
Pros: Volotea is a you get what you pay for service. The budgetness of the company can be annoying at times. If I pay for a snack can I get some water?
Cons: Going anywhere but Catania
Cons: We did not arrive on time to the flight because our conection delayed and the airfligt company did nothing to help us.
Pros: Perfect!
Cons: Beware of checked baggage, the costs are astronomic (around 60 usd per bag)
Cons: Charged full fight fee, don't ask customers pay over size luggage penalty minutes before departure
Cons: High baggage and other fees that are not publicized. Web site just says check bags start at 15 euro, actual price was over 50 euro.
Cons: Very high baggage and other fees that are not publicized. Web site just says checked bags start at 15 euro, actual price was over 50 euro.
Pros: Simplicity and welcome with a smile
Cons: The departure gate was far
Cons: The return flight was very turbulent, but mostly close to take off and landing.
The flight that made me never want to fly again
Pros: The only saving grace to this whole experience was the woman at the check in counter who was friendly and made small talk while checking our bags.
Cons: Honestly, I would consider myself well travelled but after this flight I wanted to rule out air travel from our future plans. The take off was bumpy, fast and uncomfortable. Handling the turbulence was unbearable and I had a full blown panic attack on the flight. I couldn't understand a word of the English announcements each time we hit turbulence. I felt unbearably sick but couldn't bring myself to get out of my seat. There was no food, no entertainment, and definitely no entertainment. I hope to never fly Volotea again.
Not a good resource for your travel needs.
Cons: the app is that that great, it gets stook. Also, they don't have any chance to change or re-schedule any flight.
Luggage $$$$$$$$
Cons: To check a bag is about $75 if you do it at airport. We witnessed a number of people who had done carry on from Athens to Santorini not be able to do carry on back. It's a scam on the Island. The bin in which you have to fit your bag is smaller on Santorini.
Overal experience
Pros: Boarding was like any other boarding, it went fine, but then we had to sit on runway for about 30 minutes or so. Not a huge deal. I keep myself busy on computer so flight went quickly.
Cons: Flight crew was not happy and they didn't even pretend to be. Seats were not comfortable at all and mine even had a huge tear in it so it just bugged my back side the entire flight. Food was not good at all! Salad smelled moldy. Oh yeah, and I ended up paying extra for my bags that were exactly the same as my husbands but he was not up charged. Between the c crew and the constant selling and up charges, I would rather pay more for a different company.
A decent airline
Pros: Checking and boarding were easy. Also email reminders were helpful.
Cons: Could they spare a drink of water? They charged extra for everything, including the air you breathed.
Low cost low frills airline
Pros: Low cost
Cons: Have to carry any carry-on luggage up the metal stairs in any weather, up to plane. Same thing after landing.
On board Volotea flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x40x20cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Volotea assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Volotea offers direct flights to 104 cities in 16 different countries. Montpellier, Nantes, and Strasbourg are the most popular cities covered by Volotea.
Volotea concentrates most of its flight operations in Nantes.
KAYAK is a travel search engine, meaning that we continuously look across the web to find the best deals for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from all airlines, including Volotea.
A Spanish airline that has headquarters in Spain, Greece, Italy, and France, Volotea is not a member of an air alliance or group, but does have connections to Vueling, as both companies were created by the same founders.
This airline flies to a variety of destinations, with almost all of them being in Europe. In addition to the many flights that can be taken to the company’s four cities that contain headquarters, customers can also go to countries like Ireland, Croatia, Austria, Portugal, and Germany.
Out of the more than 35 planes that Volotea has in its fleet, almost all of them are either Airbus or Boeing. The company uses the Airbus A319-100 the most often for its voyages, as it is generally best for short to medium-range flights and can fit up to 156 passengers. For shorter flights, the Boeing 717-200 is normally used instead, as it is smaller and can only fit up to 125 individuals.
Volotea has three travel classes for customers to choose from, which are known as Economy, Business, and First. Economy will provide you with benefits such as a free carry-on, snacks, and drinks, while Business comes with seats that are in a quiet cabin and provide additional leg space, one free checked bag, priority boarding, and an exclusive check-in desk. If you will be flying in First Class, you will also have access to the airline lounge before your flight boards, a gourmet meal, a spacious reclining seat, blankets, a pillow, and a fully-stocked toiletry kit.
