Booked via Kayak, for $45 per day. Turned out to be $85 per day because bullshit story about insurances eg $10/day extra if you go across border to Germany or Italy. Left without renting the car TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEReviewed 11 Feb 2024

Cons:horrible! the employees badly need customer service training. they were shouting and accusing other car rental companies. they refused to give me the car after waiting for almost an hour. they had a subjective opinion on my documents: I presented a passport and bank card from different countries because I live in 2 different countries but they did not understand this. I have been using these documents or the past 3 years across the world and never had an issue!Reviewed 2 Jan 2020

Great car, poor servicePros:Almost new car supplied.Cons:Budget lost the car after I returned it, required 4 calls to sort the issue including describing the person I gave the keys to! They also took payment up front for fuel even though the contract was a "return full" contract. Expecting to have to chase the refund of this.Reviewed 21 Aug 2017

Incorrect vehicle detailsPros:Very clean vehicle and very well equipped, apart from the one thing I asked for and even rang up and asked for confirmation and was still incorrectly advised.Cons:We asked for a 4wd and even rang up to confirm that the vehicle was, and was told YES.......But it wasn't, found out when stuck in Kuhtai with a young child at 10.30 on Sunday 21st Feb, not impressed. Would suggest brookers ie Kyak and car trawler have the correct info to hand, as this caused a lot of annoyance and concern at the time...Reviewed 24 Feb 2016

Upgrade is not always desiredPros:Relatively easy pickup and drop-off at Innsbruck.Cons:In hindsight I should not have accepted the upgrade to a bigger car. It would've been nice if the car i actually booked and asked for had been available. Too large a car for small Austrian ski-towns.Reviewed 20 Feb 2016
