I ended up paying almost double the prepaid amount. Much of that is my fault for forgetting car seats but hidden fees made up the rest. Getting the car was also a hassle as there was a mix up between what car I was assigned and what was in the actual spot. The staff person was not particularly kind in assisting me.

We never received a car. When we got to the budget counter they told us they had been trying to contact us but didn't have the correct number. I'm not sure how that's possible since we provided it to kayak and through the website qeeq should have had it. We received no phone call, no email or text. The person at the counter told us that we would not be charged because they would not be running the credit card so we needed to do nothing further when we arrived and they did not have a car. We have now been charged by q e e q for a rental we did not receive. This is our first time through kayak, what a complete disaster.

The value was great. The safety features on the vehicle are going to kill someone (lane assist,automatically braking), clerk in San Diego was rude

We waited for over two hours to get our rental car at St. Thomas airport. 30 mins in line just to sign paperwork and then another 1.5 hours waiting for the keys, after we were told it would be a 45 mins wait. Desk agents were very rude. They continued to tell other customers in line that there was a 45 mins wait knowing that was a lie. We feel like we were being lied to or scammed. I will be sharing this experience on social media and We will never book with this company again. If you would like to discuss this further you may contact me at 8139199467. Thank you.

Full of surprises, they take me out the airport zone to an office where they told me that i need to pay a lot more in insurance REALLY A LOT MORE, then I refused cause that new price far away from the price i saw when reserved and I asked for they to take me back to the airport and they said they were too busy. I better made a walk in to HERTZ and get a car there.

Budget was great. Kayak you suck! Never will i use your sight again! We booked a SUV on your site and received an compact car at pickup. When trying to call kayak to fix the problem, your staff hung the phone up on me 3 separate times.

28,000 mile rental car? Smelled like smoke. Bluetooth would not connect. Brakes had a slight grinding as if they need changing.

The process took too long and the mandatory insurance was too expensive.

The online purchase said compact SUV but we were told that wasn't what was rented. Then we spent more money to get a better car only to get a small car that still didn't fit the four of us well (we only had carry on bags) the car was extremely dirty (spit and mucus on windows) not at all cleaned on inside or outside) we took videos of all the disgusting damage and dirt .
