Cons:Rented at Burbank and wanted to change the drop off to LAX because my flight changed but I couldn’t because LAX is a franchise. I had to drop car at Burbank then Uber to LAX. Very inconvenient. Going cheaper doesn’t work out
Cons:horrible customer service when I tried to extend rental. Customer service agent hung up on me and was a total jerk. Will avoid payless after this experience

Cons:I will never use Kayak again and I promise to let all yelp users know. I made reservations for a car rental at LAX 6 weeks before my trip to LA. Once I got to LA, I found out that Kayak had made the reservation at an Enterprise location 50 miles away from the airport. Now I don't know street names in LA so I had no idea this was the case until I tried to pick up my car at the Enterprise LAX location. It was January 26th and every single car rental facility was completely booked. I could not find a car anywhere. Kayak did not have a phone number published so I was unable to talk with anyone there for assistance. I eventually found a car at Allied car rental over a mile away and ended up paying double the price I had originally had reservations for. And got totally inferior car. Never using Kayak again and making sure to spread the word.

Cons:no one could help me with changing the pick up and drop off location. called and spoke to north hollywood, lax, and hertz customer service several times. Could not get through to kayak, will not use again
Pros:The car model itself is great - it runs nice and has nice features.
Cons:The interior of the car smells VERY bad. I can't even describe it - it just has this really bad odor to it. The person who helped me once I went to pick up the car was not very nice and was annoyed when I said I used a third party for insurance. They then told me that the tank was empty but had JUST enough gas to get it across the street to the gas station to fill it up. It felt rushed and a little unprofessional.

Pros:If you like hassle and conflict, then Hertz is the place for you.
Cons:PLEASE INFORM FOLKS DURING THE BOOKING PROCESS that, if customer would like to use a debit card, Hertz would like to make a credit inquiry which may result in a small lowering of the customer's credit score. I could have saved myself the trouble and booked somewhere else. The attitude of the staff was one of customer NO service. In my opinion, there are better options on the HORIZON.
