Cons:

I did not end up keeping the Kayak reservation. I received a phone call from someone saying they were from Enterprise asking if I still wanted the car. Then they asked me for a phone number for an emergency contact. Then they asked for my email. I told them that I had entered it online and they said that was the website, this was the counter. I refused to answer more questions. When I went back to look at my reservation, I realized that I had been booked at a counter over 30 minutes from the airport, even though I had searched for LAX rental cars. I cancelled and booked directly with Enterprise and made sure it was the airport location. All in all, a bad experience that could have been much worse. I could have missed my meeting in LA.

Pros:

Nothing. You sent me to the wrong location. I asked for LAX airport. I even called to confirm my reservation was LAX airport and was told YES get on shuttle bus at LAX. after a long line wait at car rental was told it was for Korea town location and 30 minute Cab ride away.

Cons:

Will never se Kayak again and will advise everyone to do the same

At least have cars for customers that have reservation, Made my reservation 5 days in advance, got there no cars. Trying to get my mom out the houes from cabin fever, didn't happen ,very disappointed.

The manager Sam was very nice and the car itself was nice

Cons:

The two original customer service counter ppl that I encountered. The gentleman was rude and charged my card a number of times for twice the rental fee and instead of listens to me to correct his mistakes got rude and offensive and lied to his manger. The second customer service counter help female told me she did me a favor by voiding the transaction that had already been charged to my card for three times the rental confirmation amount and I had never even received a rental or keys. The service at this place was beyond horrible. Thankfully Sam was there to intervene. It amazes me this man keeps his sanity with this in-adequate staff. He deserves better than the colleagues he has to manage.

Never got the car. Rental location was not near LAX like I requested and the location was closed by the time I got there. Wasted money on a car I did not use plus had to go back to airport and pay a premium on an Avis rental. I blame kayak

Cons:

My card was stolen and they wouldn’t let me rent the car. (Had to have the actual card in person). I had to call hertz and cancel, which took 20 minutes. Hertz filed for bankruptcy and didn’t have a great inventory of calls. My original reservation was for 9am and had to be changed to 11am due to the inventory.

Cons:

I put into Kayak that I wanted a rental car from LAX airport, however I did not realize the Hertz they chose was one on the other side of LA, nowhere near the airport. It was too late to cancel so instead I had to purchase a 2nd rental car from the LAX hertz at higher prices for a day-of rental. I never got my money back for the initial rental car despite not using it.
