Terrible. Customer service at the counter was so bad we ended up not even being able to get our car. Went next door and got a car with no problems at all. Priceless is horrible and I lost all my money. No one would give me a refund. Won’t use Kayak or Priceless again.
I’ve booked and paid for my ride plenty early to get the best deal. I was supposed to pick up the car at noon but decided to get the car after dinner. When I arrived, they have canceled my reservation that I have already paid for. Made me rebook the car through a third party for double the cost then proceeded to tell me the unlimited mileage is only good for people who arrived at the airport the same day. So I had to pay more for unlimited miles. Read the fine prints, friends. They will try to get you every way possible.
the company refused to actually give me the car I rented and made a security payment for. the reason was some obscure chargeback that was on my account but nobody could explain it to me and I was not aware of anything. left me stranded in th emiddle of nowhere with two suitcases to find another rental company. found one after a sweaty while and paid $ 200 more than I originally budgeted... very bad customer service!!
False advertisement and the rate changed when I went to try to get car, I decided against the false fake advertisement and went somewhere else
Rental car pick up and return was the worst part of our trip. Shuttle from lax to office involved a sketchy transfer in an empty parking lot. Took us nearly two hours from time of arriving to office until we drove away and there were only 6 people ahead of us in line. Office was uncomfortable and had technology that didn’t work (endlessly looping promo audio was super loud, QR code to fill out paperwork while waiting in line led to a broken link). Nothing about the office seemed above-board… all transactions and communication between the lot and the office was done via cell phone. For return, directions given did not match the reality (website said they opened at a different time, parking instructions were unclear). The return lot was extremely sketchy- run down, dirty, garbage everywhere including broken glass, dirty clothes abandoned by homeless folks in the stairwell, very little signage- to the point that I was worried I was returning my car to a scammer who would steal it. Receipts/documentation of return from the company was not provided. Shuttles to the airport run only once per hour and the neighborhood was not one I’d feel comfortable waiting 45 minutes outside with my child in. I will never use Kayak to choose an inexpensive rental car ever again.
The process of getting the car took a really long time with huge waits. The transports are only every hour to the airport so you have to really time things well. The insurance ended up costing more than the car. The car was well over its service time so it beeped at me every time I got it in and had a slow puncture so I had to keep topping it up. On drop off the email clearly states “drive to floor five then report to main office” meaning more waiting. When I got to the front they said I had done the wrong thing and should have handed the car over in the parking lot.. poor communication, hidden costs, long waits for service & transfers and a damaged vehicle. Would not recommend
