Booked a car to be picked upnin Calgary and returned in Vancouver. What wasnt clear (maybe with very small letters?) was that the drop fee for returning in a different lovation wasnt included in Kayak’s rental price. Drop fee was ~40% of rental fee!! I would probably have booked anyway but not nice to be tricked. Car and waitingntime etc was fine but hard to be happy when cheated this wayReviewed 6 Aug 2026

The people who represent this company at this airport are super unprofessional and unpleasant to work with. My rental was scheduled for 7AM and nobody showed up until 9AM, I called several times and nobody answered after about an hour of waiting somebody finally called me back and said there was no more cars available and to leave and that they will not cancel my reservation! First off the vehicle wasn’t a full size suv which I reserved and was told it would be a ford explore. It’s ok if a ford explore wasn’t available, but I didn’t receive a full size suv instead i received a Toyota Vios which is a subcompact sedan and it had preexisting damage all around the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle the staff member was trying to accuse me of the damage not knowing I took 360 degree video recording with the other staff member when I was given the vehicle after the payment was made not expecting a subcompact sedan. After I showed her the video she then said ok your good. But here’s the problem I paid the price for a full size SUZ not a subcompact sedan.
