Affordable Option
Pros: My original flight arrival was delayed due to aircraft mechanical issues and was able to adjust my pickup time without any penalty. The pick up process at Guam International Airport was very smooth and quick. However, if picking up during the evening times, it's very hard to see the vehicle or where you're going at the Guam Airport parking area. Be advised to use your own cell phone flashlight or other lighting device to inspect the vehicle yourself for any pre-existing damages as it is very dark with the poorly illuminated Airport parking lights. The path from the airport terminal to the Alamo parking area is rather dark so be aware to watch your step as the path is not as clear as can be. Oh and by the way the airport does not provide complimentary free Wi-Fi access. The good part of having a Hyundai Accent is that it is very fuel efficient and one tank lots of me the entire 2 weeks I was on Island. This is great considering gas in Guam is over $4 a gallon.
Cons: Poor lighting conditions at the Guam International Airport parking leading to the Alamo parking area. The car rental return is rather confusing as you really need to pay attention to the entrance to the rental parking area as the entrance is only accessible in One Direction. Don't pay attention to the Airport car rental signs as it will falsely lead you to the wrong area. The Guam International Airport does not do a good job and it's signs so pay attention.
