They called me less than 24 hours before my trip to tell me they cancelled my reservation, leading me to frantically hunt for another vehicle that costed me twice as much. I also had to call and cancel insurance that I was charged for when I first reserved the hertz car. I don't think I should have been charged anything for insurance until I was actually picking up the car.Reviewed 9 Jul 2024

I picked up my car from the hertz rental place and advised them my car was fixed ealy and I may not need the car for as long. They said no problem. I returned it the next day and they told me to call the number to get the refund and that it would be no problem at all. I did not get any kind of refund at all nor did they give me the car back for the time I rented it for. Out 450$. They gave me incorrect info. Had I been told the correct info when I picked it up I would have changed the reservation at that time. So I paid 450$ and got the car for only one day. When it was returned they could not give me back the car I paid for as it was now returned. This was my first time renting a car. I am not happy.Reviewed 9 Jan 2022
