Pros: The hotel is beautiful. Really did a wonderful job remodeling. Rooms are quite large with generous seating areas and extra large bathrooms. Location is great.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Your provider (Cancelon) failed to provide us a hotel room.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Check in was a breeze, big room with a big comfortable bed, modern amenities, and easy to get to/from the train station and other local attractions. Very friendly staff.
Cons: I don't really have any gripes, so I'll say softer toilet paper. This was honestly the only thing that stood out as less than excellent to me.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The rooms were big and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable; so comfortable that I bought one of their pillows.
Cons: Only a shower, albeit a large one, but no tub. Room could have used more light.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The room was great - nice, clean and large. Plenty of stuff within walking distance. Do the hop on hop off bus if you are visiting.
Cons: needed a new mattress
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great hotel in an excellent location. The "hop on hop off" bus tour has a stop within 1 block of the hotel. Several good restaurants within walking distance.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We were very impressed with The Omni King Edward from the moment we arrived. The service is impeccable. The lobby, rooms, elevators - everything, really - is first-rate. Our only regret was that we could only stay one night, since it was a quick weekend getaway. This was our first time in Toronto, and we will be back - at the King Edward.
Cons: Valet parking, at CAD$40-45 per day, is a bit excessive. Since we were there on a weekend, it was easy enough to find on-street parking.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Convenience, and super friendly helpful staff. Location was very good. if you want to use subway to get around it is perfect.
Cons: Would have like to have known remodeling was in process.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Our room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: I did not realize that guests would have dogs in the hotel. I prefer a pet free location.
Good7.7
Pros: We always love going to the King Edward Hotel when we visit downtown Toronto. The location is terrific if you want to walk, shop, and sight see. We've been choosing this hotel for years.
Cons: Since we book this hotel often ... it would be nice to be recognized and rewarded. Perhaps with a room upgrade or something ... Most notably though on this last visit I noticed our bed was sagging in the middle. I had to sleep on the edges of the mattress not to fall into the centre.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The room size, decor, free internet access, and friendly helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent service as always
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel property was immaculate and was in walking distance to many places of interest such as Eaton Centre, St. Lawrence Market, Distillery area, St. Michael"s Cathedral, SONY Performing Atrs Center and many fabulous restaurants and bars. The employees of the hotel were motivated in making our experience a great one. The concierge staff were most helpful with their suggestions and directions.
Excellent9.7
Cons: Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed and great location
Excellent10.0
Pros: Best hotel staff we've encountered in a long, long time.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great design, everything is clean, friendly staff

Good7.1
Pros: Location is fantastic; new; indoor walk from UP train; staff are super friendly & attentive.
Cons: Sliding, frosted bathroom door right beside bed. Not a fan of this trend for the lack of bathroom privacy; bed a bit uncomfortable; elevator wait is long.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Good size room, clean, and convenient location.
Cons: Expensive breakfast.
Good7.1
Pros: Location was terrific
Cons: Hotel system was down at check Iin. So didn't get to room until later. Ordered a cab for 5 people, 5 hours before we needed it and it didn't arrive. Staff ran around blaming others, but still no cab arrived for 5 people. 20 minutes later, we ended up taking two cabs. Next day (Sunday) we asked for a late check out of 1 pm (only an hour after regular checkout time). They said no, we could have until 12:30 only. The price of the room far exceeds the services provided.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Awesome employees which compliment this wonderful hotel with beautiful views
Excellent10.0
Pros: Beautiful view from our room. It was a very romantic spot with a great vantage point for the CN tower, Lake Ontario, and the city. The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Excellent9.7
Pros: Great location. Easy to walk to Harbor front, CN tower, Aquarium and more. All just 5 mins walk away, great for kids of all ages.

Pros: Service, location, room, views and property.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent10.0
Pros: great food. Had access to the lounge which has a great view of the city. Lots of great snacks throughout the day.
Good7.4
Pros: Staff was competent and very friendly. Concierge helped me several times and obtained discounted tickets to Aquarium and Hockey Hall of Fame.
Cons: Hotel overlooks railway and train noise started early in the morning and was clearly heard in the rooms-go street side. No refrigerator or minibar in the room and no movies on TV.

Pros: Absurdly elegant and chic boutique hotel at a great price. I'm checking the prices now because I want to go back, and, wow, did I get a deal. Wish I could afford to return.
Cons: Literally nothing. Like, maybe a Nespresso machine in the room? It was phenomenal. Even the LPs in my room were perfect for me. It's like they knew. THEY KNEW.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Overall it was nice! The room was nice, upscale and a bit swanky, but efficient. Staff was lovely and friendly.
Cons: They just opened so the bar nor restaurant were open, which was unfortunate. There was a bit of construction going on too. The room was not that insulated for sound and could hear hallway and outside noise.

Pros: When we booked the hotel there was indoor pool and restaurant . But they have only hottub which is great by the way. After booking , we get an email that restaurant will be closed. That wasnt fair really. Otherwise this is our second stay at cambridge Stafff really nice . Water drain in the living room never got fixed despite complaining. rooms are spacious.
Excellent9.1
Pros: Nice room layout and amenities Very quiet
Cons: Room heater thermostat did not work well Elevator down button light did not work
Excellent10.0
Pros: My boyfriend and I came for our 6 year anniversary. We wanted to explore Toronto, so we came early. The staff was amazing! When we got there, they let us have an early check in and explained the parking and amenities very well. The hotel is in the perfect proximity to everything in Toronto. We will be staying there again upon our return.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We stayed at the Cambridge Suites as part of a weekend getaway. In the heart of downtown and right around the corner from Massey Hall, the Cambridge Suites was withiin walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The suite was spacious and offered every convenience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens clean and crisp. The room was very quiet and the staff was most accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent8.8
Pros: I compared alot of hotels for our long weekend visit to Toronto. The Cambridge seemed to offer the best value as far as price, location, and you get a suite not just a room. The room were clean, and recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very firm, but we prefer it that way. The hotel has a strictly enforced no noise policy, which is something we appreciated. We were able to get the rest we needed after very full days taking in Toronto.
Cons: The temperature in the room was a little on the warm side. Not uncomfortable, but we would have preferred it a little cooler. Weather outside was in the 90's. Turning the thermostat down did not seem to help.
Excellent10.0
Pros: This was a great deal! It is conveniently located downtown near the Air Canada Centre and a quick walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame. It's not easy finding a 4-star deal downtown, but this was definitely one! Everyone was kind and answered all our questions. Staff throughout the hotel was inquisitive and helpful. Parking on site and not too bad of a price. Highly recommended!

Pros: Great location and for a downtown hotel, couldn’t beat the price
Cons: Woke up to the sound of rodents chewing away in the ceiling - horrible!! Also, elevators were extremely slow - waits of nearly 10 minutes to be expected. Bathroom extremely small.
Excellent8.5
Pros: I love the design and functionality...the bed is soooo comfortable. Gym was small but nice.
Cons: air conditioning unit was a bit loud, but not unbearable.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location was excellent for central Toronto with excellent access to convention Centre and tourist interests. It was fabulous to have a kitchonette and clothes washing facilities in the room. (I was upgraded to a higher room and the view was amazing too!).
Cons: Nothing really.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Great staff. perfect location. Fantastic price and amazing room. Loved it.
Cons: Bed was a bit short.. lol
Excellent10.0
Pros: The place had a nice kitchenette, with even a washing machine and a dishwasher. Although I was only there for a couple of days, I can imagine it's excellent for traveling with family or a long-term stay. The staff, including the cleaning staff, were all super nice.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent10.0
Pros: It's a historical building right in downtown Toronto
Cons: Overall everything was super no complaints
Excellent10.0
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. In suite laundry was major bonus to wash and dry running gear before packing into suitcase. Room comfortable, well appointed. Historical building was neat, lobby nice, convenient location downtown. Valet parking was expensive but necessary as there appeared nothing convenient around. Well suited to transit and walking. Views were fantastic from 36th floor suite, and gym was great, with super views, on 17th floor. Sandwich/pastry shop off lobby was good, Starbucks immediately across street.
Cons: No in suite breakfast option, so either be prepared (and make use of in suite kitchen), hit restaurant downstairs (which seemed expensive), or plan for pastry or coffee shop mere steps away.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Thanks to Collin at the front desk, my stay was perfect! He not only upgraded my room, but he ensured me he'd personally handle my concerns and he did just that. The hotel is central to everything downtown and you can walk everywhere.
Cons: Parking is a drag, as you must valet park and it takes a minimum of fifteen minutes to get your vehicle if you're lucky. It also cost 45.00 a night to park...
Excellent10.0
Pros: The cleanliness of the room, wifi, location of the hotel, and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location, the view, the room and amenities and the bank vault !

Pros: They're staff were very accommodating
Cons: I got a bunch of random charges for 'custom package' and 'upgrade' charge and didnt even get the room i had requested and paid for! It ruined my stay because it felt like a waste of my money. I ended up going down to have them removed, upon check out I had to request the removal of the fees a second time

Pros: Location
Cons: Rude staff that are very non accommodating. Very dated rooms
Excellent10.0

Excellent9.1
Pros: Great room, very clean and spacious. Excellent location walking distance to Eaton's Center, St. Lawrence Market and theatre district. Close to Porter shuttle hotel.
Cons: Workout room was small and parking and drop-off area very busy. Breakfast very expensive at the hotel, but Starbucks located across the street.

Pros: convenience downtown to eaton centre.
Cons: the mattress was too hard. wokeup with a sore back. wont go back due to this issue. otherwise was a great stay.
Good6.2
Pros: Great location. Close to subway and eaton centre
Cons: Cheap price room but you pay extra for parking and wifi. Nearly 70 bucks just for those 2 alone. Rooms were nice but the ACC was terrible. Even at the lowest setting room never got below 23
Excellent8.2
Pros: Good location, with an easy walk to a lot of cool areas. Nice accommodations. Friendly staff.
Cons: Parking cost $35 extra, and wifi was $10 per day. It's 2015 man, wifi should be freeee!
Okay5.4
Cons: Beware of the crime in the area. There was a murder outside the front door. If safety is a concern you should not stay here.

Location is amazing. Came back to our room and found a man standing in our shower on the phone. Turned out our room as meant to be blocked off for renovation work. Had to move rooms. The couple who we were with changed rooms twice. Once because of an enormous amount of dust in the room (as if construction has been done on there and never cleaned up) and the last room they found a knife underneath the bed sheets.

Excellent8.5
Pros: Everything is very close by, Excellent living rooms in each room, not just a typical bed and a desk, and the TV check out was very convenient.
Cons: they up graded us to a stadium view, that was good but they left the flood lights on all night. Seemed like a waste, but I guess that really has nothing to do with the hotel. Also we got unlucky and the kitchen was closed due to a break down, but I have eaten there before and it is very good
Excellent8.5
Pros: it was a nice view and the water front wasn't to far from the amphitheater were i was going
Cons: it was over priced for a small hotel like that
Excellent9.7
Pros: Fast check in, complimentary breakfast above the norm, close to transport and entertainment
Cons: Expensive parking. Wifi should be free.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Supurb downtown location. The lobby bar view of the baseball field inside the Rogers Centre was pretty cool and would be awesome on game day.
Cons: Lousy view from our city view room on the 1st floor. Fitness center was nice but lacking a sauna , change area and sundries and other simple amenities.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The room was big and had a view of the rogers centre, which we loved. Really liked that the screen tv welcomes you by your name, I thought that was excellent customer service. The bathroom was nicely decorated and I felt it was different then the regular hotel room.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Our room overlooked the field. And it was fun to watch them prepare for the home opener. Staff was great very helpful and friendly.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Large rooms and beautiful large bathroom. Staff friendly and happy to help
Excellent9.0
Pros: Large modern room.
Cons: Due to Blue Jays game they had no parking available when we arrived. I had to find off site parking which cost $40 then move my vehicle to the hotel after the game and pay hotel $35. So $75 to park, was NOT happy with that. No free wi-fi. Charge was $12.95. The room was not cheap, do they really need more of my money for wi-fi? I travel often and I cannot remember the last time wi-fi was not included for free. No in room safe.
Excellent8.8
Pros: My room was large, beautiful, and clean. The hallways were a bit difficult to navigate and I got lost a couple of times until I got a acclimated to it. I went around in circles before I could find the elevator! The hotel is very special because it sits directly next to Rogers stadium, which is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays, & I understand that there is soccer there too. If you sit in the hotel's restaurant, you can look directly into the stadium, and it's a great deal of fun. However, I understand that there are some rooms that also look directly into the stadium but which do not have windows to the outside, so these rooms would make a sports fan very happy but perhaps others might be disappointed. Be sure to ask for a room that has a window to the outside if you don't want to face the stadium.
Cons: The concierge was very nice, and attempted to be very helpful. However, she did not give clear enough instructions on how to get around the city. Taking a cab was a big suggestion of hers, & I really wanted to learn how to use public transit. Perhaps part of the problem, however, is that Toronto's subway system has not grown as the city has grown. It is not that widespread or complex, and in order to reach many places, there's a great deal of transferring necessary between train and street car. So this is difficult for a tourist to learn quickly.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The convenience, it’s close to the majority of the tourist attractions and great places to eat.
Cons: Only thing, the room had a bit of a pet smell too it. I have a dog at home, so it wasn’t enough to bother me, but definitely noticeable and unexpected.
Good7.1
Pros: Never any wait for the elevator or the Starbucks!
Cons: Quite a bit is closed like the Club room, vending machines and ice machines, the rooms facing the baseball stadium, due to low occupancy levels I’m guessing.
Excellent9.4
Pros: We took train, then walked mostly through skyway bridges from airport. Staff was friendly, room clean and ready for us. One night stay, was a comfortable rest. Was able to use Netflix to watch a show.
Cons: Recreation areas not available during our short stay.
Good6.0
Pros: The staff is extremely helpful and the location is great, right by the CN tower, walking distance to Union Station (about 10 minutes). The room I stayed in was very spacious.
Cons: The hotel was being renovated, so there was no convenient access to a pool or fitness centre (you would have to go to the Delta hotel a couple of blocks away for that); the ice machine/vending machine room on my floor was locked with no sign or note explaining the reason or where to go for an open ice/vending machine room -- maybe those are also being renovated. My particular room seemed to be in need of renovations as well (like caulking the bathtub). After the renovations are completed things should be OK, but I was really disappointed as I had no heads up about these issues and would have booked a different hotel if I had known about them.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Location and available valet parking saved us a lot of stress. Very friendly, helpful staff
Cons: We were booked for 3 people and only had 2 coffee cups. No microwave which should be standard
Okay4.5
Pros: the location and the room was clean.
Cons: the manager isnt truthful and gives a horrible scammer vibe. its a long story, but he just lies to secure a sale and is very deceitful. also hotel management was slow and needed to be called multiple times for small concerns. it was annoying having to keep calling and reminding them. also the hotel had loud and disturbing noises as early as 6am and throughout the morning which made waking up very unpleasant. also no toothpaste, and the tv remote was missing.

Pros: the pool
Cons: the pool could be warmer. the hot tub was a bacteria and sludge factory. It's not your fault. The volume of people made it that way.

Pros: Great hotel. Right down town. Lots of food options within a few minutes walk. Good conference hotel.
Mediocre3.7
Pros: The room and the view.
Cons: The being woken up at 5:30 am by a fire alarm that went on for 30 minutes, only to have a jack hammer being used 2 hours after that. Barely anyone in the hotel spoke to us, and it took over an hour to check out and get my deposit back. Will never return.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Staff is really nice. Room had a great view and the hotel is located at the heart of the financial district and a walking distance from major Toronto attractions. Great to do business and explore the city.
Cons: They charge extra for wifi. Free wifi is provided to some SPG members under conditions that are not consistent across Sheraton hotels.

Pros: Location was great
Cons: Room wasn't very clean and the power went out shortly after we arrived and was down for several hours. This might not have been the hotel's fault, but there was no effort put in to mitigating the issue for the guests (i.e. providing battery powered lights, communicating progress on power restoration). Valet parking was overpriced and, considering the overall cost, this was very poor value for money.
Excellent9.4
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were clean and modern. Within walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions.
Cons: Had difficulty keeping the room cool; the air conditioner would stop cooling occasionally. The staff was prompt with a response and a fix.

The manager was made aware. My three night stay was over 500.00 USD. The hotel is not the Marriot standard. It looked like it was a Motel 6.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Friendly staff Easy accessable to every thing in downtown
Cons: Non
Good7.1
Pros: As always i think the location is great. Your in the middle of most attractions, theater, shopping.
Cons: We were really looking forward to seeing the newly renovated hotel. However ended up very disappointed. A quick glance and it looks great. When you get up close you can clearly see it was a rushed job and not professionally done which added to all the faults.
Good7.3
Pros: The staff was excellent and the location was good.
Cons: The North Tower is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms and hallways look extremely dated. Parking is expensive.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Loved the hotel and the location just steps from the subway and walking distance from the eatons center. Staff was all very helpful and friendly. Got an upgrade to a king bed room.

Excellent8.0
Pros: Just needed a place to crash for one night while doing an event downtown. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Booked the room at a time and rate where I felt we got very good value for our money. Would likely stay there again if the price was competitive.
Cons: The hotel is in the process of renovating, but they are managing everything without any causing any noticeable disruption.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The hotel was great. Met my expectations.
Cons: Our room was next to the elevator ... it was a bit noisy on Saturday night.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The area you’re in was great and the price we got on kayak made it worth it. Don’t know what the regular price would be but do not think I’d pay more than what I did.
Cons: Ice buckets only on every other floor, wanted to go to the bistro on the main floor but it seemed like it was a 5 star place. The fact that there is only one way into the hotel, would be nice to have a door on Yonge street.
Excellent8.2
Pros: location
Cons: Vallet Parking is the only option
Excellent8.2
Pros: The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I found myself walking in my stocking feet in the room . Something I rarely do in a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: No fridge in the room. And there was construction within the hotel.mmElevators were extremely slow from the 14 th floor.
Cons: Ice machine missing on our floor...left over item from another guest found on floor...nothing major
Good7.3
Pros: Great location on Yonge St. Food, subway station nearby. The place looks a little dated but that doesn't bother me as long as it's clean which is the case. Flat screen TV but no safe, no fridge. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: The place is so badly protected against noise that I would probably not stay there again unless renovated. I don't mind a bit of traffic noise (the hotel is in downtown Toronto after all) but hearing outside airconditioning units howling all night is pretty annoying. Having tried different rooms I suspect they don't have any quiet rooms.
Excellent8.2
Pros: From the moment we walked in the doors right through to checkout we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, from front desk right through to housekeeping. We stayed in the south tower and appreciated the large room and most important, the cleanliness of it. The location cannot be beat, so close to everything. we will definitely make this our hotel of choice for future trips to Toronto.
Cons: The only thing missing in the room was a mini fridge.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Nothing. There is nothing to like. This booking was not in their system and I was asked to leave the hotel!!
Cons: The WORST customer service at the hotel and what should I say about Kayak/Getaroom.com not having my booking show on the hotels end??? Where is my money??? I hope I am not getting charged or have been charged as I did not even stay at this hotel because they couldn't even verify my booking - the confirmation or booking number provided in my booking email meant nothing to the hotel. I am looking forward to an explanation!!!
Excellent8.0
Pros: Location
Cons: High price of parking -- $35 per night is very high
Excellent8.2
Pros: Staff was was always polite, responsive, and competent
Cons: Restaurant is more like a cafeteria with limited menu
Okay5.4
Pros: The location is good
Cons: Poor service, they didn't have hot water the first day! rude bell desk personal. The cleaning service left trash on the room floor... in general pretty disappointed. Didn't expect this from a Marriot hotel at this price tag.
Excellent8.6
Pros: Very glad that they have free wifi in the rooms. Don't actually spend too much time there, but its nice to have the bar/coffee next to the lobby and though I didn't eat at it this time, the breakfast buffet was good in the past. My friend came to pick me up and was able to leave the car out front while she came up to get me instead of having to try and find parking.
Cons: Checkout can be a little chaotic - would be nice if they did auto checkout and left me a preliminary receipt in my room like a lot of other hotels do.
Okay5.7
Pros: Area is great, staff very good
Cons: Room smelled of a smoker, horrible view on lower floor
Excellent8.2
Pros: The number one selling point for this hotel, is that it is located right in downtown Toronto on Yonge street and is one block away from the line 1 College subway station, which is also a stop on the 506 Carlton streetcar line. There are also an unlimited number of reasonably priced places to eat and shop within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful
Cons: My room was directly across the hall from a bank of four elevators. Fortunately, the hotel was not very busy or it would have been disturbing. The walls are thin and not well sound insulated. I could too much from the adjacent room. There is a new building construction across the street, so you won't get to "sleep in" on the average weekday. Of course this is a temporary situation beyond Marriott's control, which will auto-rectify once the building is completed
Located in Toronto Entertainment District, this eco-friendly hotel is steps away from The Path, PATH Underground Shopping Mall and TIFF Bell Lightbox. Princess of Wales Theatre and Roy Thomson Hall are also within 5 minutes. King St West at Blue Jays Way East Side Stop and King St West at John St West Side Stop are within a 5-minute walk.

Pros: Perfect location in downtown, to. Not far from the main attractions. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will def. stay here again!
Excellent9.1
Pros: Staff was awesome.
Cons: Room was dated, furniture not anchored to the wall
Excellent9.1
Pros: Location excellent for travel by Union Station and for the restaurant/entertainment district.
Cons: Front desk staff unable to deal with specific booking requests. Needed to speak to hotel manager.
Good7.4
Pros: Rooms were spacious and well-furnished. Great bedding. Short walk to aquarium, CN Tower & restaurants. Good hot breakfast. Fast check-in/check-out.
Cons: Pool was very cold. Breakfast area needs more seating. Room was stuffy and thermostat didn't seem to allow for temperature changes.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel rooms and very nice and the staff are wonderful to deal with. Andrew from the front desk helped us out more than once with a smile on his face each time. The continental breakfast was better than any I've ever had! We stayed here during TIFF and had an absolutely wonderful second experience at this hotel.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Great breakfast and spacious rooms.
Cons: Provide more blankets since room sleeps 4.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Great breakfast and friendly staff. Fantastic location close to everything.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I had an in-room suite with kitchen and it was perfect for work. I was able to dine in my room and get work done. It was also close to the attractions of downtown Toronto so I spent half a day walking around.
Cons: A bit pricey for parking but they do have valet parking.
Excellent8.0
Pros: It is in a great location for the entertainment district.
Cons: I prefer quality over quantity for breakfast. I would recommend fewer items e.g. Organic granola instead of processed granola, that are locally sourced.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent service as would be expected from a Marriott brand property!
Cons: Does not provide complimentary dental kit (when requested on their app.) Their Wi-Fi is also painfully slow, you're better off using Mobile Data.

Pros: Quick service. When my granddaughter and I arrived, there was water on the bathroom floor, from a leaky toilet. The problem was resolved immediately. Professional and friendly staff.
Cons: Glass walls on the bathroom...greatly reduced privacy. Would prefer bathroom door with a handle.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Staff gracious and kind.
Cons: Television didn't work all the time. Volume was issue
Excellent9.7
Pros: Nice, comfortable bed. Very spacious room. Lobby is spacious and uncrowdwe.
Cons: Ambulance siren at nite a recurrent annoyance.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Couldn't believe how close to everything this hotel was.. amazing! Outdoor pool on the 17th floor was amazing! Urban sanctuary type deal as sunny with a view of downtown and cn tower
Cons: No issues found during my stay
Excellent8.8
Pros: When we checked in the front desk inquired about our stay, and I said I was treating my husband because it was his birthday weekend. We arrived early and dropped off our bags. When we got to our room in the afternoon, the hotel generously had a large chocolate cake with Happy Birthday on the plate, waiting in our room for him. Lovely! Buffet breakfast the next morning was amazing as well!! We we placed in a very quiet room at the end of the hall with an amazing view of the CN tower.
Cons: Hotel curtains didn't close completely and we faced east, so early morning sky coming in. They need to fix the water damage in the bathroom. But that is being picky- great stay.
Excellent9.7
Pros: In the theatre district walking distance to Princess of Wales. Lots of restaurants in the area. Friendly staff even offering a bottle of water to take away on check out. Easy access by subway and street car from Unuon Station.
Cons: Nothing negative to report based on our 1 night stay.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Front desk staff were very friendly. Great location for theatre district.
Cons: The hotel was not all that busy and yet they put us in a room right beside the vending machine room and the maintenance/laundry room. Fortunately because it wasn't busy the noise was intermittent but it was a risky move all the same.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and quiet room with free wi-fi, bottled water, tea and coffee, great location walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and tourist attractions
Cons: Pricey bar and restaurant
Excellent10.0
Pros: i had a great time, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: If you drive into town with a larger vehicle, you will not be able to park onsite. Parking in other locations becomes costly.

Pros: very clear, affordable, and walking distance from downtown
Cons: Why would Hilton not offer free WiFi these days for international travelers?
Excellent9.1
Pros: Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Carpets were a little dirty
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was very helpful. The room was nice. I have no complaints. Will stay there again.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Nothing, I didnt stay there. They gave my room to someone else.
Cons: Hilton booked me in an oversold hotel. After traveling 11 hours I showed up and they said i had no room! I paid for 2 nights in advance and it was PAID for. How could Hilton do this? I am a HiltonHonors member, being a member doesn't mean much to them, where is the loyalty? They gave my paid for room to someone else and told me to go find another hotel. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Okay5.7
Pros: Great location Easy check in
Cons: Dated rooms Not sound proof - could hear everything in hallways and on road (I.e. Sirens) No fridge in room Bathroom was very old - needs to be updated badly
Excellent10.0
Pros: Staff was great, rooms were really nice. Would love to stay again !
Cons: Being bothered repeatedly for a 40$ valet fee when I came in on go train.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Close to everything downtown, one block from subway, clean, modern, friendly helpful staff.
Cons: A little expensive but that may just be the prices in Toronto.
Excellent8.3
Cons: Unfortunately due to a late flight, I got in at almost 3:00 AM. They put me on the 26th floor. They didn't tell me there would construction starting on the 26th floor at 8:00 AM. It was terrible. The hotel was not sold out either... It was loud and very difficult to try and get that extra 30 minutes of sleep I needed...
Excellent9.1
Pros: Loved the friendly staff , location and restaurant

Pros: Locations is amazing, just steps from Queen St subway, lots of restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops nearby. The staff are super friendly and the complimentary fruit infused water is a very nice touch

Pros: The staff went beyond to meet my needs. Always cordial and friendly.
Excellent9.7
Pros: They allowed us to keep our car in underground parking after check out wothout an additional fee which was very helpful
Good6.0
Pros: The room was clean, corner room with lots of light. Easy check in and out.
Cons: Extremely loud old fashioned air conditioner, going off and on. No ice machine on Hilton honors floor. Remote did not work, and had no wash clothes in room. Not a luxury hotel.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The swimming pool is big for a downtown hotel and the breakfast buffet is worth the pricetag. The location is very central and Double Tree has made great efforts to save this older building.
Cons: The elevators are slow and unreliable and don't have a way to see what floor they are on while you wait. The breakfast buffet is good but repetitive. It would be nice to see a greater food variety over the days and they need Maple syrup and sugar-free syrup options.
Good6.0
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: EXpensive for what I received. Very few TV channels, poor wireless service, no free coffee in am, no free blast Too expensive for price
Okay5.7
Pros: Good location
Cons: Small rooms for the price, very limited parking for guests, dusty rooms.
Mediocre2.0
Cons: Worst hotel MANAGEMENT EVER! Was stuck in DoubleTree Hilton's downtown Toronto elevator for over an HOUR and management did NOTHING!! Only reason I got out was because I called the fire department and THEY got me out. DoubleTree sent an old man with a flashlight over an hour later. If I didn't take it upon myself to call, who knows how many more hours I would have spent there. Then they had the audacity to NOT REFUND either of my 2 nights because it was booked w/ a 3rd party provider. I didn't get stuck in the 3rd party provider's elevator, I got stuck in YOUR ELEVATOR. Avoid at all costs as management will not take care of you. Any other hotel would have refunded and given multiple free nights.
Excellent9.7
Pros: I would recommend anyone to stay at the doubletree by hilton JUST so you can taste the cookie you get when you arrive and check in, they are warm and amazingggggg. Other than that, my stay was great and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Although the breakfast buffet was overpriced but it was very tasty. Overall, it was a great stay and I would look to stay there again next time I visit Toronto.

Pros: Overall, the stay was good.
Cons: The price of the breakfast; $30 all you can eat, but I did not want to eat much. I was quite shocked and I will not eat breakfast there again.
Good6.0
Pros: The lobby area and ground floor appear to have been renovated nicely. Nevertheless, they should try that on the rooms. They were OLD,outdated, in need of a basic change in heavily worn and dark carpet (where all the foot traffic has been for the past 50 years). Paint peeled off the walls, a $2 surge protector nailed to the wall to create extra outlets, closet doors older than my grandmother, etc....... You get the picture.... Update the place if at least give it a paint job

Pros: The bed was so comfy! And the towels were really nice too!
Cons: I hated that people were allowed to smoke right at the door. That was disgusting!

Pros: Pool and fitness center were nice.
Cons: The room here was so small. We had four of us and it was very cramped. No walking room at ends of beds or between them. Smallest room I have ever seen. The temperature didn't work at all in the room and was way to hot or too cold. Toilet did not flush correctly and would have to call down to get a plunger. Not a comfortable room at all.
Good6.8
Pros: Great central location
Cons: I chose this hotel for the fitness centre but it was closed down for renovations and I was unable to workout, I was offered ryerse. University facilities but I'd have to bundle up walk a short distance outside and the weather was less then favorable and time was an issue

Pros: The concierge Alex was great on his suggestions for restaurants. He also gave excellent tips on the subway and street cars; this helped us get around town Nice location. Bathroom was spotless
Cons: Rooms very small. Scuff marks on the walls Wifi disconnected frequently
Good6.5
Pros: Great location to The Village A restaurant, a pub and a Starbucks are on property which is nice
Cons: Desk staff seemed to be bothered by checking in. Beds are hard, pillows are too soft. Bathroom had long dark hair everywhere and I have a shaved head Room was small and was supposed to be King Size

Pros: The location was very convenient and it was easy to get to any part of downtown. It was also pretty easy to use public transportation to get there from the airport which was my concern. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Another nice perk was a movie theater a couple of buildings over which was great. The staff was really pleasant and accommodating. The cleaning crew was amiable and checked in about when the room would be cleaned. I really appreciated not feeling rushed to get so the room could be cleaned. I would definitely like to stay there again.
Cons: The room was a little small, but I think I could've upgraded if I chose.

Pros: Location
Cons: Check-in process was extremely slow.
Good6.5
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The rooms were small in my opinion. I stayed from a Friday-Sunday. The wifi was HORRIBLE. It would disconnect as I was using it all the time. The only time I had good service was near the pool or lobby. The lady at check in could also have been a bit friendlier.
