Didn't even visit the pool or hot tub on roof, but heard it was great! Plenty of space in the room, nice hardwood floors, restaurant is great - really good food and a great atmosphere. I would 100% stay here again.

Pros: Had a great time visiting Toronto and our stay at The Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations. This hotel is located in what I think is a perfect location, within 5 blocks of Young / Dundas square (the times square of Toronto) which is right across from the Eaton Centre. The subway takes you right down to Rogers stadium and the CN Tower, or you can easily walk it. Location 5 plus, hotel 5 plus, facilites 5 plus. Would definately stay there again. We took the paid upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite and stayed there with my brother and wife. It was a two storey suite - lots of room for everyone to spread out.

Pros: The location was very convenient and it was easy to get to any part of downtown. It was also pretty easy to use public transportation to get there from the airport which was my concern. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Another nice perk was a movie theater a couple of buildings over which was great.
The staff was really pleasant and accommodating. The cleaning crew was amiable and checked in about when the room would be cleaned. I really appreciated not feeling rushed to get so the room could be cleaned.
I would definitely like to stay there again.
