Pros: The staff at the front desk and rooftop bar were very friendly. The lobby felt like we were at WeWork or another Millenial workspace mixed in with entertainment. Generally, it was a good and cool vibe. It was a bit crowded at times but overall it felt like a comfortable and cozy place to hang out. The rooftop bar is pretty nice but some of the pictures on the website do not correctly represent what it really looks like. It is not as fancy and spacious as it looks on the photos.

Pros: The design and vibe of the hotel was very cool. The robes and slippers in the room were a nice touch. We enjoyed breakfast from the coffee shop and received good service in the bar the previous evening. Overall, glad we tried this place out, but likely wouldn't stay there again given the vast options NYC has to offer.

Cons: The rooms did not really have place to hang our clothes comfortably. The coffee shop employees looked miserable and they worked very very slow. They made it a miserable experience to get a cup of coffee. Although the coffee and other offerings were generally good.

Cons: Our room was extremely small and definitely a struggle for two people - even just for a night. There was minimal space to hang clothing and unpack toiletries. There didn't seem to be a lot of sound proofing between rooms.

Cons: The hotel is modern but very warm and cosy. Can be noisy at times but every hotel in New York is like that. Best think about the hotel is the STAFF. So helpful and friendly . Thank you to precilla and all the staff.

Cons: We chose this place because of its fame and was very disappointed. At this price point, one would expect a much higher standard of service, but we didn’t get that at all - we checked in at 10pm and there was no doorman, no one helped us or even offered to help us with luggage. Hotel staff weren’t friendly and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Upon leaving the hotel, even after tipping the bellboy, they don’t offer to help you load your luggage - definitely not a five star service offering. Friendly reminder: despite Atelier rooms being marketed as ones with bathtub, you’d better ask for one upon check in. We didn’t, and we got the smallest room with no bathtub, when we asked at check out, the front desk simply said: you should have told us you wanted one when you checked in. Why would we need to ask for it! The restaurant and bar scene is vibrant and nice, but you don’t need to stay in the hotel to enjoy that. So please only stay at this hotel if you’re willing to deal with horrible service. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Pros: The Edition has become my favorite hotel in NYC. It's modern and clean without being trendy. It's luxury without being pretentious. The service was first class. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Even at $500-$600 a night it's a value. The restaurants and bars were fantastic. I think being across from Madison Park adds something unique. I highly recommend the Edition.

Cons: I booked a room with city view from Sunday - Friday. But my flight on Sunday got cancelled, so I got to NYC on Monday night. I notified the front desk about my late arrival on Sunday, and they promised to hold my room. They still charged me on Sunday, which is fair. But when I arrived, I was given a room with no view at all (11th floor, facing the wall across the street). I was told that I needed to call the front desk on Tuesday morning to see if they have a room with view. I questioned them why I booked the room with city view but no room of that kind was available. I was told because I didn't show up on Sunday. But I paid for a room on Sunday, and have notified them about the late arrival. That doesn't make sense. In addition, the front desk told me even though my room on Monday night doesn't have a view (11th floor), it's the same as the type of the room with the view. This doesn't make sense, since the room with view means the room with a view, it doesn't mean the layout of the room or any other things. My reservation also include the wifi, but the front desk didn't tell me the password until I called to figure out. I had to call on Tuesday morning and got moved to a higher floor, where I could see some buildings a few blocks away. Still, it's different from the picture they show online, where you can see the empire state building. To be fair, the front desk guy was rude and unprofessional, but other clerks I met are polite and welcoming.

We called the front desk and were told that the system only supported either heat or AC and that it had been switched to heat for the season. We requested a fan for the room to circulate the air. The staff said that they would look into it, but we never heard back, nor did we have a fan delivered to the room.

Cons: Car parking outside the hotel very noisy always large trucks or vans blocking the entrance, the reception area is nice however, the lift delays not great plus as soon as the lift door opens you have fire extinguishers facing you, cover with some art or visual displays. Bathroom cracks and holes need amending — pillows and duvet polyester, which is tacky and very 3-star quality.

Cons: I will preface this review by saying we stayed at the Soho location which was absolutely fantastic. Here at NoMad it was totally different. The front desk woman upon arrival suggested we upgrade our room because of the beautiful view, larger room, and great location- the room was no bigger than my home closet and there was absolutely NO view (unless staring at another building is a view) AND it was incredibly noisy- constant sirens, horns, etc. It was not clean upon arrival- there was black splotches on the walls, orange splotches on the bathroom walls, broken towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door, broken door hinge in the bathroom door, AND the knob on the inside of the shower door fell off and I had to figure out how to screw it back on so I could get out of the shower. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk OR concierge OR valet from 9:30am to 1:30pm the day of our checkout despite calling 20 times- my husband had to go down to the front desk himself in order to get a bellhop to carry our luggage down and get Our car. None of this would be a big deal if I was staying at the Holiday Inn because you typically get what you pay for- for a AAA 4Diamond hotel I expected a bit more especially considering the cost per night. Unfortunately to say we were disappointed is a understatement. We throughly enjoyed our stay at SoHo but after our stay at the NoMad location we likely won’t return.

Cons: Hotel food and drinks are pricey and are set up for those on unlimited expense accounts, not leisure travelers. Fortunately there are many options within a few blocks of the hotel. Better to walk around the block and buy drinks and meals at local prices.

Pros: Incredible boutique hotel on Park Avenue. Great location, excellent service, clean and very comfortable room and bathroom. In NY to celebrate our 50th birthdays and it could not be more perfect! Loved the hotel and loved the rooftop lounge. That was a perfect place to hang out after a day in the city. It was nice having coffee and tea every morning as well as complimentary car service within a 15 block radius available Monday through Friday. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a very upscale and classy stay in NYC!! I will absolutely stay here again next time I come to NY! Everything was perfect, I could not ask for anything more!!

Cons: The hotel announced the lowest prices on several apps and sites like kayak, when you make the reservation, they charge you something called “facilities fee” or “resort fee”. It’s in violation of the new york’s unfair trade practices law. As the roon is the cheaper, cancellation is not refundable. IT’S a SCAM. Be aware.

Cons: The rooms look far nicer in pictures. Shower was awful and the bed was very worn down on one side, didn’t sleep very well. The breakfast is only a pastry, fruit & tea/coffee and isn’t even in the hotel it’s a place across the street so we didn’t even use the vouchers, would rather pay for a decent breakfast. Also people using the ice machine at all hours was very loud as it was right outside our room, should move it elsewhere.
